Teacher's story: Since ancient times, a special place in the family has been given to the father. Everything important in the house was done only with his permission. He sat at the head of the family table. His word was the last and decisive at the family council. The father is still called the head of the family. When strangers entered the house and asked: “Who is the owner?”, the father answered: “First is God, and then me.”
Only at first glance, it seems that to be the head, the main one, means to manage and rule at your own discretion. In fact, the head is the one who thinks about the whole family. He cares about each individual more than about himself. He works tirelessly to ensure that there is prosperity in the house.
The children were always proud of their father's hard work. It was the father who was seen as the breadwinner. This was how it was in the family of the artisan and peasant, in the family of merchants and nobles.
In a large family, the father had to be strict. He could reprimand and punish. “Not the father who gave him drink and nourishment, but the one who taught him to be wise,” people said. They obeyed their father, were afraid, but loved and respected him. They were not offended by their father’s judgment and punishment, understanding that it came not from evil, but from righteous anger.
Everyone was equal before him. They didn’t want to upset my father. He was an intercessor. He defended family interests before people and authorities. They addressed their father in different ways: restrained and touching, respectful and tender.

The spiritual father is recognized as the priest from whom one confesses and receives communion. He knows all your difficulties and mistakes, sins and weaknesses. He witnessed such frank confessions before God that are sometimes not expressed even to his father and mother. They consult him on the most important issues of life. They ask him for blessings on the most important deeds and actions. Our people show great respect to the named father. This is the name given to someone who takes a young orphan into his family and becomes his father, feeds him, clothes him, educates him and sends him out into the big life. It happened that my own father died early or was killed in the war. The mother remarried and then the children had a stepfather - a stepfather. In folk tradition, the stepfather, who was able to become a breadwinner and caring mentor for orphans, enjoyed great respect and honor. And the stepson and stepdaughter paid their stepfather with sincere love and recognition.
Answer: The Heavenly Father is the Lord, the Tsar-Father (there used to be a Tsar), one’s own father, the godfather and the priest in the temple.
