Quiz dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan

Methodological development of a quiz script dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan “My land is my Fatherland”

Abstract This event is dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The quiz allows you to actively involve children in joint creative activities, develops motivation for learning and cognitive interests of children, and broadens their horizons. Introduction. To educate means to organize the activities of children. A person develops, forms his skills, behavior patterns, values, feelings in the process of joint activities with people and in the course of communicating with them. Therefore, in order to achieve educational goals, a teacher must be able to organize a variety of children’s activities. The organization of extracurricular activities for children, including leisure and holiday activities, has always been and will remain a very important area of activity for a teacher. Activities with children in addition to lessons, communication with them in a more or less free environment are essential, and often decisive, for their development and upbringing. They are also important for the teacher himself, as they help to get closer to children, get to know them better and establish good relationships, reveal unexpected and attractive sides of children’s personalities, and finally allow them to experience happy moments of unity and shared experiences. The teacher must be able to provide children with shared experiences that will make them better people. In this regard, such forms as a concert, performance, holiday, etc. have great potential. I decided to hold a quiz with the children dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which, according to the work plan of the cultural and leisure department, was planned for October. The event took place on October 9. The children were pleased with the event; everyone found it interesting and educational. Goals: 1. To develop children’s interest in studying their native land; 2. Development of students' creative abilities; 3. Contribute to the cultivation of love and respect for the history of the native land. Objectives: 1. Expand the understanding of the diversity of nature of the native land; 2. Development of cognitive interest in one’s “small homeland” 3. Cultivate patriotism and love for one’s native land. Equipment: computer, projector, screen. Participants: students in grades 5-8. Progress of the event 1. Opening speech by the presenter. 2. Presentation of commands. 3. Quiz. Presenter: Good afternoon, dear participants! I am glad to welcome you to the game - a quiz dedicated to what day? (children respond to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan) “Where are you from?” - I was asked. And I answered proudly: “From Russia, and to be more precise, I’m from the Urals. There is my homeland - Bashkiria.” Bashkortostan is the land of dense forests and endless steppes, the land of honey and kumiss. I am proud to be born and live on this wonderful land! On the map of our majestic Motherland, Bashkortostan is a small corner in the Urals. Writers and poets figuratively compared Bashkiria, based on the outlines of its borders, to a birch leaf or a palm open for a handshake to all the peoples of our country. Wonderful, hardworking people have lived here for a long time. The nomads - the Bashkirs - were the first to come to these lands, which is why the republic is called Bashkortostan. Bashkortostan is a republic of national harmony. It is inhabited by Bashkirs, Tatars, Russians, Chuvashs, Maris, Mordovians and representatives of other nationalities. The nature of Bashkortostan is incredibly attractive and diverse. If you look at the republic from a bird's eye view, you can see dense taiga forests, rivers and lakes, hills and steep cliffs. Bashkirs are very hospitable people. They will not only present the guest with kumiss and aromatic honey, but will also entertain him by playing the kurai, a national musical instrument. Among the Bashkirs, dance is one of the most popular forms of art. It reflects the peculiarities of life and ancient beliefs.
