Extracurricular event dedicated to “National Unity Day”

Hello, my dear friends! Since 2005, another day off has appeared on our calendar. All of Russia celebrates National Unity Day on November 4, but not everyone knows why this particular date was chosen for this beautiful patriotic holiday.

Attention! Here are some interesting historical facts:

  1. In November 1612, an army of people's militia under the leadership of leaders Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky broke into Kitay-Gorod.
  2. Then a garrison of the Polish Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth settled in the heart of the capital, threatening to destroy the Kremlin and subjugate freedom-loving Russia to the will of the interventionists.
  3. Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, to inspire the fighters for the decisive battle, picked up the icon of the Kazan Mother of God, and with it he solemnly entered the Kremlin territory.
  4. The fierce battle lasted for three days and on November 4 (Gregorian calendar) the army of invaders shamefully capitulated. The people loudly celebrated the victory, and in the ranks of the liberators there were people from different segments of the population, different nationalities and religions.
  5. In 1649, Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich issued a decree establishing a holy holiday in honor of the icon of the Kazan Mother of God and ridding Russia of the Poles. And in 2008, after the revival of the national celebration, a monument to the real heroes Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky was erected in Moscow.

I rightly believe that our youth and growing schoolchildren need such a patriotic date on the calendar. I propose to celebrate the holiday beautifully within the walls of a school, university or at home, and for a fun time, I came up with scenes for November 4, National Unity Day.

We present to your attention three original scenarios for children, teenagers and adult audiences. Decide which one you like best and is suitable for production with your friends, colleagues or senior mentors.

Sketch for November 4th for children

The presenter goes to the center of the hall, greets the audience and begins the performance. There are a lot of plants on the stage, you can hear the nightingale singing, and paper butterflies flutter under the ceiling.

Presenter : In a large field, different, different flowers grew - poppies, daisies, dandelions and cornflowers. A warm summer breeze was blowing, the flowers were moving their petals and quietly talking to each other. And then one day butterflies flew into the clearing.

Butterfly : Oh, I’m tired, it’s time for us to refresh ourselves. Let's fly to these wonderful flowers and ask them for some nectar.

Presenter : Bright butterflies flew to the flowers and ate plenty, and also collected supplies.

Butterfly : Well, girlfriends, are you full?

The butterflies nod together.

Butterfly : Do you have the strength to fly further?

The butterflies nod again.

Butterfly : Let's thank the beautiful flowers for their hospitality and generosity. (Turns around to face the flowers) Stay as wonderful and kind! Thank you!

Butterflies bow and fly away.

Mac : Did you hear that? They called me a wonderful flower! Although I already knew that my petals are the most beautiful.

Chamomile laughs: You? I doubt. This was addressed to me. This is me so tender, white and with a yellow heart.

Dandelion : And you're boring! It's my fault! Have you seen my fluffy hat (flaunts)!

Cornflower : Argue as much as you like. But we all know that I'm the most attractive. Look at the color of my petals.

Host : The flowers argued for a long time about which of them was the brightest and most beautiful. They didn’t notice how autumn came. The evil winds began to howl, cold rain poured onto the ground, and the sky was covered with black clouds. And the flowers in the clearing became scared and cold.

Mac : Oh no! My petals are torn by this terrible wind!

Cornflower : And I feel like I’m starting to fade!

Chamomile : My fragile stem can't stand it. I feel like I'm about to break...

Dandelions to: There is nothing left of my hat. I'm so cold!

Presenter : The flowers looked at each other and looked at each other. How the coming autumn has battered them! How to survive severe frosts and icy winters? They came closer to each other and hugged tightly out of fear.

Dandelion : To survive the winter, we need to unite!

Mack : Let's forget the insults and quarrels! It doesn't matter who is the most beautiful.

Cornflower : Let's live together!

Chamomile : Let's cover ourselves with leaves and help each other!

Presenter : The flowers hid under the green leaves, they became warmer. The friends did not give up, holding hands and surviving the harsh winter. And then spring came, it became warm and dry. The flowers emerged from under the leaves, looked around and exposed their petals to the gentle sun.

Mack : Oh, look how peaceful and good it has become. Our clearing is unrecognizable!

Cornflower : Soon new flowers will bloom here, and we will become old people?

Dandelion : So what? The main thing is that we survived the frost.

Chamomile : We have common roots with growing flowers. Don't forget about it!

Vasilek : Yes, we live in this clearing as one family.

Mack : So let's teach the youth! Let's tell them how we survived the winter, how friendship saved us from trouble!

Presenter : The flowers held hands. Poppy, chamomile, dandelion and cornflower understand that they have one Motherland, and love for their native land and mutual assistance help them out in the most difficult situations! The artists perform a round dance to the song “A friend will not leave you in trouble.” Then they bow to the audience and beautifully go backstage.

About the holiday

Student 2: About 130 different nationalities live in our country. It is important and necessary to respect the traditions of each of these peoples. In 1995, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, signed a decree and declared May 1 as the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the country.

Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev

Since then, every year in all the cities of our Motherland events are held with dances, songs, fun games, and various ethnocultural exhibitions are organized. Kazakhstan has united millions of different people on its land. This day is also celebrated in the schools of our state, because we are the future of our country, and like no one else we must understand the importance of maintaining friendship between peoples.

When drawing up a plan of events for National Unity Day at school, pay attention to patriotism, expanding knowledge about your native country (performance of the anthem, presentation about national symbols, quizzes, reports, etc.).

Sketch for youth

Host: Once upon a time two old women lived in the same village. Both of their children grew up and moved away in different places. They were left alone with their household. The first old lady was kind. The children called her Grandma Lyuda, helped her in the garden and loved her pies.

The actors come on stage, approach the grandmother and accept a basket of goodies from her hands.

Guys : Thank you, Baba Luda!

Luda : Thank you, guys. What would I do without you!

Presenter : And in the next house there lived a grumpy old woman, Baba Valya. She did not like children and did not invite guests. Children and adults avoided her and walked around the house a mile away.

The boys are playing ball next to the old lady's house.

Baba Valya : Hey, get out of my yard!

The boys pick up the ball and step aside.

Baba Valya : Even further! More! Move away!

The children run away and the old lady grumbles.

Presenter : One day a young student Naizhin from Buryatia came to this village. I wanted to work here as a nurse, to help rural people. Yes, there were few things. Naizhin thought and decided to bake some pies, go to her neighbors and ask for help.

Host : As I decided, I did so. Naizhin came to grandma Lyuda, knocked on the door and waited. Baba Lyuda came out to her guest and greeted her warmly.

Naizhin : Hello, grandma. I am your new neighbor, my name is Naizhin.

Lyuda : My name is Lyudmila, but the guys call me Baba Lyuda. Come in, don't be shy!

Presenter : The neighbors sat down at the table, ate pies, and drank tea. Then Naizhin said that it was difficult for her in the new place, no dishes, no mattress.

Luda : Don't worry, baby. I will help you!

Presenter : Grandma collected spoons and bowls, a blanket and pillows.

Luda : Here, take it. You need it more.

Naizhin accepted the items with gratitude: Thank you very much! I'll return everything.

Luda laughs: Use it for your health, there is no need to return it.

Host : They said goodbye and hugged. Nyzhin took the things home, put them on shelves, and with the second pie went to the second neighbor.

Presenter : She comes to the doorstep, knocks, and Grandma Valya is right there.

Valya : Why are you knocking on the door? You make noise early in the morning!

Naizhin, scared: Oh, excuse me, please... I didn’t know that you were resting...

Valya interrupts: Why did you come? You're trampling my rug here!

Naizhin : I’m your new neighbor, I baked a pie for you.

Valya : Keep it for yourself. Who knows what you put in there?!

Presenter : Naizhin was offended, but didn’t show it. I decided to try my luck and told the old lady my story.

Valya : We need things, you say? (Looks around and picks up torn galoshes from the floor) Here, take these! And don't come again.

Naizhin : And thank you for that, grandma.

Presenter : Baba Valya did not say goodbye and slammed the door in her face. Naizhin trudged home with torn galoshes and decided not to set foot near the evil old woman again.

Host : Our story does not end here. That same night a terrible thunderstorm broke out. Lightning flashed and thunder roared throughout the entire area. And one of the lightning strikes the houses of the neighboring grandmothers, and they immediately caught fire like matches.

The grandmothers ran out in their nightgowns, and the rain and thunder thundered incessantly.

Presenter : The houses quickly burned out, leaving only rubble. Baba Lyuda and Baba Valya are standing in the rain, freezing and shaking...

Naizhin runs out : Why are you standing there? Come to my house!

Host : What to do? The old women went to Naizhin. Lyuda thanked her all the way, but Valya just grumbled and lamented.

Naizhin at home: Baba Lyuda, you helped me a lot with my things. Take them, you need them now, or better yet, stay with me.

Luda : Thank you, kind soul!

Naizhin : And you, Baba Valya, were inhospitable. But I will return your things to you. Do you see the galoshes at the doorstep? Take it. You need them more.

Host : The old lady burst into tears and repented. I realized that what goes around comes around.

Valya : Forgive me, Naizhin! I was wrong! How will I live now if the whole village doesn’t love me?

Naizhin : Don't worry. Come to me, I'll give you some tea. We'll wait out the storm and then decide what we'll do!

Host : The neighbors became friends and spent the whole night talking by candlelight. The houses of Baba Lyuda and Baba Valya were rebuilt by the entire village. The evil old woman became friends with all the residents of the village and sincerely apologized to those whom she had once offended. They began to help each other and live without knowing troubles and sadness!

The beautiful scene ends with patriotic music, the actors take a bow.

Summarizing

Teacher: Our event dedicated to National Unity Day at school is coming to an end. But there are still a couple of important points left.

Tell me, which bird is a symbol of peace? Take white doves on your desk, write your wishes for the future to the country, family, friends and attach to the ball.

Dove - a symbol of peace

Students write, tie it to a balloon and march out into the street.

Teacher: Let's stand in a circle, close our eyes and think about what we wished. Now release your birds high, high into the sky, let them fly, scattering wishes throughout our republic!

Performance of the song “My Motherland”.
