Lesson summary for 7th grade algebra “Entrance testing”

Entrance testing in algebra

7th grade

Explanatory note

1. The purpose of the work is to find out to what extent the knowledge and skills of 7th grade students at the beginning of the school year correspond to the basic program requirements in mathematics.

2. Characteristics of the structure and content of the work

The mathematics work consists of 2 parts and includes 11 tasks that differ in form and level of difficulty (Table 1):

Part 1 contains 7 multiple choice tasks. For each task there are four possible answers, of which only one is correct.

Part 2 contains 4 tasks that require a detailed solution.

Table 1. Distribution of tasks by parts of work

Parts of the work Number of jobs Maximum score Type of tasks
1 Part 1 7 7 Multiple Choice Questions
2 Part 2 4 8 Tasks with a detailed solution
Total 11 15

3. Distribution of work tasks by difficulty level

The work presents tasks of various levels of complexity: basic, advanced.

Basic level tasks are included in the first part of the work. These are simple tasks that test your understanding of the most important math concepts.

Advanced level tasks are included in the second part of the work. These tasks are aimed at testing the ability to use concepts and laws to solve various problems.

Table 2. Distribution of tasks by difficulty level

Level from falsehood of tasks Number of jobs Maximum Primary Score
base 7 7
elevated 4 8

4. Time to complete the work is 45 minutes (taking into account the time allotted for instructing students).

5. Additional materials and equipment: you are allowed to use a ruler when performing tasks.

6. Evaluation system for individual tasks and work as a whole

A multiple-choice task is considered completed if the selected answer number matches the correct answer. Each task is worth 1 point.

A task with a detailed solution is considered completed if the answer matches the correct answer. Each of the tasks is worth 2 points; if the solution is complete, a detailed answer is given.

The maximum number of points is 15 points.

Mathematics, Lesson plan, 1st grade, Kanashevich T.N., Kopylova S.A. In the educational process, you can use the manual “Mathematics. 1 class. Independent and test works” by G. L. Muravyova, M. A. Urban, S. V. Galzaovon, E. L Urban, which corresponds to the educational and methodological complex. Each independent work is presented in two versions and relates to the indicated lessons in the textbook. Of course, each teacher can supplement the proposed material with his own ideas and developments. We hope that the manual will help make students' introduction to mathematics more interesting, memorable and exciting. A lot of. One. Objectives: • learn to use the concepts “one”, “many” to characterize the number of sets consisting of one or more elements; • develop the ability to compare the numbers of sets, • develop the ability to count objects within 20; • consolidate the ability to navigate on a sheet of paper. Educational and methodological support: textbook. Part 1; Lesson 17: Workbook. Part 1: lesson 17; magnets, drawings with images; flowers; white album sheets, math set, colored pencils. During the classes. 1. Organizational moment (see Appendix 1, at the choice of the teacher) 2.
