The use of Voskobovich’s games in the work of a preschool educational psychologist

The essence of Voskobovich's development technology

Modern parents are lost in front of the windows of children's stores - such an abundance of toys, manuals and creativity kits! And in the early 90s of the last century, it was difficult to find high-quality toys that were useful for development. During the perestroika shortage, a St. Petersburg engineer and physicist - Vyacheslav Vladimirovich Voskobovich - decides to create truly educational and affordable toys for his sons.

Vyacheslav Vladimirovich enthusiastically shares innovative ideas and the basics of his games at pedagogical seminars and workshops

Development of pedagogical ideas

Voskobovich’s first gaming manuals reflected the ideas of Nikitin and Zaitsev (“Geokont”, “Folding”). Classes with cubes and transformers were supplemented with fairy-tale content, and magical characters appeared.

In 1999, pedagogical ideas and developments were recognized by the Education Committee of St. Petersburg. The author’s technology “Fairy Tale Mazes Games” was officially approved - a step-by-step introduction of the child to games and a gradual complication of tasks.

Now Voskobovich’s methodology involves the use of a developing subject-spatial environment (“Purple Forest”, “Carpet Chest”). There are about 50 main games, and more than 200 applications to them. The Tutor Center holds conferences and webinars to introduce Voskobovich’s games, and publishes teaching aids for teachers and parents.

Voskobovich's technology is based on the creation of a special subject environment in which the child enjoys fantasizing and exploring the world

Difference from other early development methods

Voskobovich's technology is patented. The fairy-tale accompaniment gives uniqueness to games with cubes, figures and strings. Moreover, there are no ready-made texts that the teacher reads to the children. There are recommendations on how to use magical animals and gnomes to put together a story that will interest your child and motivate him to search for new information. Perhaps this is the only technique in the post-Soviet space that is based on children's imagination.

Fantasizing and playing are also ways of learning for a child

Pros and cons of technology

The goal of Voskobovich’s technology is to build a pedagogical process that promotes the intellectual and creative development of children in play. The advantages of the method are obvious (at the beginning of the 21st century, approximately 90% of preschool educational institutions in St. Petersburg conducted Voskobovich games):

  • Establishing comfortable communication between an adult and a child, classes are held at ease.
  • The games are suitable for children from 1 to 7 years old, the tasks involve increasing complexity.
  • The technology is aimed at the comprehensive development of the child: mental and creative abilities are improved.

The only downside is the inability to make all the game materials with your own hands.

The advantage of Voskobovich’s games is that they can be used with both toddlers and children aged 6–7 years

Preparation for classes

There are two ways to master Voskobovich’s gaming technique.

  1. Study on your own. Self-study through Internet resources.
  2. Watch webinars.
  3. Purchasing selected games.
  • Complete training.
      Review seminar.
  • Tutor seminar.
  • Learning from an existing tutor.
  • Self-development of the technique allows you to significantly save time and money. The games are described on pedagogical portals, and webinars with practical advice are available for free viewing. Paid training gives a full understanding of the methodology through personal communication with the author-creator. Beginning teachers, especially if the goal is to introduce Voskobovich’s games in a kindergarten or development center, then it is worthwhile to undergo professional training. Based on the results of completing the program, valid certificates are issued.

Voskobovich’s technology is easy to master, the main thing is to play all the manuals yourself

    Voskobovich games: what types exist?

Vyacheslav Vadimovich has repeatedly mentioned that his main fear is to create a game that is not interesting for a child. That is, one that will be assembled and disassembled 2-3 times and put away in a distant closet. Therefore, Voskobovich’s games for preschoolers are as multifunctional as possible and can be used constantly.

    Advantages of toys:

    • designed not to exaggerate income, but for the development of children according to the personal interests of each of them;
    • Voskobovich’s games are most popular in kindergarten, each of them is designed for ages from 2 to 7 years (the games grow with the baby);
    • multifunctionality, simultaneous comprehensive development;
    • a parent or any adult becomes not a mentor, but a partner of the child (the most important emphasis is on this method of interaction between an adult and a child);
    • a huge range of difficulty and variations of activities for each game.

Voskobovich’s behavioral method is now popular in kindergarten; many good teachers adopt it for work in primary grades: an adult is not a supervisor, not a mentor, but a partner in learning.

What role is given to fairy tales in educational aids?

Vyacheslav Voskobovich, when creating his gaming aids, wanted, first of all, to touch upon the true interests of the child in this difficult but exciting period of life. For a long time, fairy tales have been of interest to children almost from birth to adulthood. Therefore, V.V. Voskobovich diversified the lesson in the middle group with fairy tales, which are always interestingly woven into the main events.

The main characters of all fairy tales are the wise old raven Metro, the brave little boy Geo, the simpleton Vasyuska and others. Each time the kid travels through the purple forest and helps the heroes of fairy tales defeat evil opponents by completing tasks. The purple forest is full of mysteries and consists of diverse locations. Each parent can create their own fairy tales, use others, entice the main character in the footsteps of Kolobok, or investigate the adventures of Alice in Wonderland.

Voskobovich's purple forest: working method, how to play and what to pay attention to

Each game comes with detailed instructions that will help you navigate, but it is important to take into account the character and behavior of each child.

The main essence of the game Purple Forest:

A fairy-tale space with many riddles, rebuses, and puzzles opens up before the child. The complexity, design, design depends only on your imagination. You can use any materials that catch your eye. You don’t have to buy expensive or special items, you can use what you have in stock, the main thing is to be smart.

The forest is divided into different zones, where objects with different textures, shapes and colors are used. This technique can be used both at home, remodeling a children's room, and in a kindergarten.

Important! For details, the background was purple. The color purple stimulates the child's imagination and activates thinking.

What to pay attention to during classes:

    • difficulty level: you don’t have to follow the recommendation and increase it if you feel that your baby can do more;
    • give the opportunity to cope: do not rush with hints, do not rush the child, if necessary, better guide, but do not interrupt the game with comments;
    • if the child wants, he has the right to change the rules and show imagination during construction, invent his own work schemes;
    • control the mood: if something bothers the child, he is distracted or wants to stop, do not interfere and do not get irritated.

The fairy-tale labyrinths of Voskobovich's game, as well as the journey through the Violet Forest, assume a relaxed environment. You cannot scold or make offensive remarks to your playing partner in case of failure. Most activities require perseverance, which is not always possible for a child. Small physical minutes are acceptable. The first lessons should not be long; if the child wants to leave the game and is interested in others, that’s great. You can always come back after a while.

    Most popular games

    1. A Voskobovich square is a set of triangles that need to be assembled according to diagrams. The final designs can be either flat or three-dimensional. Several colors are used. More than a hundred addition schemes and a fascinating fairy-tale story.
    2. Game Geokont Voskobovich. One of the favorite games of kindergarten-aged children. The name consists of two words “geometry” and “contour”. Task: according to the fairy tale, complete various tasks that will ultimately lead to the goal - victory over evil. The child’s tools are a special table and colored contact tapes.

    3. The Splash-Splash boat will teach your child counting, colors, and introduce him to the heroes - Captain Geese and the sailor Little Frog. It trains motor skills well, understanding shapes, sizes, quantities, and so on.

    4. Carpet Casket is a real treasure trove of amazing games. Hundreds of tasks and game options - and all this in one Chest! The child will learn about numbers, letters, colors, practice speaking, fantasize and have a wonderful time visiting fairy-tale characters. The set includes a mat with special marks, colored ropes, multi-colored squares, unusual letters (cards), unusual numbers-cards, pockets, Velcro, clips, colored circles-marks, arrows, cash registers, 60 letters and numbers, cards for the game, gnomes.

    5. The Petals game allows you to find out what standard the primary colors are. A fairly common problem in children is a confused representation of colors. The concepts of “over, under, behind, between, outside” are trained. Extensive color science is trained, and the comfortable handles are perfect for children's small fingers.

In total, Voskobovich’s game catalog already includes more than 50 varieties. Each child can, to one degree or another, modify the game for themselves: add gouache to “Petals” and learn that colors can be mixed. Try together with mom and dad how much Voskobovich’s “Fairytale Mazes Game” technology can change, combine sets, and come up with your own fairy tales.

Description of Voskobovich's games by age

At the moment, Voskobovich’s patented technique has an extensive gaming base. All games (more than 200) are divided into three blocks:

    • universal,
    • subject (mathematics and reading),
    • constructive.

Voskobovich's games are multifunctional. For example, a game (“Igrovisor”, “Magic Eight”) is used in one lesson to consolidate the image of letters, and in the next school week the same game is played to consolidate the image of numbers.

Often, manuals are used to introduce new lexical topics: “Wild and domestic animals”, “Vegetables and fruits”, “Modes of transport”, etc.

It's easy to learn colors, sizes and letters during one game!

Master class for teachers “Educational games by V. Voskobovich”

    "Fairy tale mazes game"

(based on games by V.V. Voskobovich)

Goal: - increasing the professional competence of educators through the use of innovative gaming technologies when organizing work with children.

    — acquaintance with game development technology V.V. Voskobovich and its use in various forms of work in kindergarten.

Objectives: - systematize and deepen the knowledge of teachers on the technology of developmental education V.V. Voskobovich.

    PROGRESS of the master class:

Introduction: - Dear teachers! Today I am pleased to welcome you to the master class “Fairytale labyrinths of games” based on the games of V.V. Voskobovich. allow me a few introductory words.

There are many types of classification of games. But all classifications include didactic games. As you already know, didactic games include games aimed at developing the child’s cognitive processes, i.e. educational games.

Educational games are an integration of psychological and pedagogical technologies that stimulate the development of the cognitive sphere and the development of certain skills and abilities.

    Objectives of educational games:

    1. Develop interest in solving cognitive and creative problems, independence and initiative.
    2. Develop imaginative and logical thinking.
    3. Develop the desire for a creative process of cognition and performing actions according to the algorithm;
    4. Develop voluntary attention.
    5. Form ways of cognition (sensory analysis, construction and use of visual models).

It is very important that with such a variety of tasks assigned to educational games, they remain interesting, original, provide the child with the opportunity for creativity, and do not lose their attractiveness from game to game.

And now, among the variety of creative approaches to games familiar to us from pedagogical didactics, a very special, creative, very kind group of games appeared - Voskobovich’s educational games.

The basic principles underlying these games - interest - cognition - creativity - become as effective as possible, because the game speaks directly to the child.

    Features of Voskobovich's educational games:

    — The games are designed based on the interests of children.

By playing with such gaming aids, children get real pleasure and discover more and more new opportunities for themselves.

    — Wide age range.

Children from 2 to 7 years old and older can play the same game.

The game begins with simple manipulation and then becomes more complex due to a large number of different game tasks and exercises.

    — Multifunctionality and versatility.

By working with only one game aid, the child has the opportunity to show his creativity, develop comprehensively and master a large number of educational tasks (get to know numbers or letters, colors or shapes, counting, etc.).

    — Ready-made educational didactic material systematized by age and educational objectives .

    — Methodological support.

Many games are accompanied by special methodological books with fairy tales, in which various plots are intertwined with intellectual tasks, questions and illustrations. Fairy tales and their good heroes - the wise raven Meter, the brave little Geo, the cunning but simple-minded Vse, the funny Magnolik - accompanying the child through the game, they teach him not only mathematics, reading, logic, but also human relationships.

These games act as a means of comprehensive education of the child’s personality. With the help of Voskobovich's games, the teacher teaches children to think independently and use the acquired knowledge in various conditions in accordance with the task.

It is important to note that all games have a fairy-tale plot, and in our group the two most common manuals are presented - these are “Purple Forest” and “Carpet Box”, with which and on the basis of which we will play today, yes, exactly play, especially most immersed in the learning process itself.

    Main part (practical).

And the first manual with which we will take a closer look is the “Carpet Box”, it is a playing field made of carpet measuring 1 m \ 1 m with a printed mesh; his set includes:

    - multi-colored ropes (5 ropes, 1 m long): you can trace and connect them, create various shapes and patterns, and measure the size of objects.

This manual is also available for children, it is smaller in size, and this is exactly the kind of game option that children use. (teachers have small carpet mats, multi-colored ropes, multi-colored Velcro, and contact tape circles on their tables.

    - now I will offer you a fairy tale - a task that you need to complete on a carpet printer yourself.

    - Let's start with the simplest thing.

    1 part.

    For example, this task:

    1. Connect the path from Dolki’s house to Invisible’s house and walk along it with your finger (the teachers do it); figures of the heroes are displayed on the carpet and with the help of ropes a path is laid from one to the other.
    2. But the task can be complicated: first, suggest building houses using logo molds, flashlights (showing the manual), I suggest you build houses for the heroes on a carpet, focusing on the verbal instructions: Dolka’s house is not red or yellow, it is located at the top left, but The Invisible House is not all yellow or green, it is located at the bottom right.

The set also includes: multi-colored Velcro circles. Which fashionista Fifa loves to play with. And so she scattered her beads, which I suggest you collect on a string in the same order in which the beads scattered throughout the clearing, that is, three red ones, followed by only 2 blue ones, then one green one, (the teachers complete the task, collecting “beads” on a string in a given order).

    — Dear teachers, it is not difficult to guess that even such simple tasks solve a lot of problems and develop children’s intelligence - orientation in space, the ability to count objects and place them in the correct sequence, but it is also important that tactile sensations only enhance the educational effect.

    — the game manual “Carpet Box” helps to organically include other Voskobovich games into tasks, for example, such a fairy-tale plot as “Zhuzhi the Bee’s Birthday” makes it possible to come up with a gift for her based on the “Geokont” manual, which is a wooden field with attached “nails” on which multi-colored rubber bands are pulled during the game. Each “stud” has its own coordinates (for example, Zh-2 – yellow “ray”, second “stud”).

    - For example, using my verbal code, you will complete a task that will reveal the secret - what our heroes gave to the bee Zhuzhe: I will dictate to you the code C4-O4-K3-B4-F3-C4, according to which you will make a figure using an elastic band (educators perform the task) What did you do? (umbrella).

Games are multifunctional. With one game you can solve a large number of educational problems.

Working with the Splash-Splash boat also has a fairy-tale plot. This ship is commanded by Goose, the captain, and little frogs, the cabin boys.

    — I suggest you complete some tasks with them:

Checkboxes – sorting by color, quantitative counting

There are flags on the deck. Captain Goose commands: “Assort the flags by color.” Which color flags have the most and which color have the least? How many red flags are there?

Flags – counting, conventional measure, correlation of numbers and quantities

The captain gives the command: Measure the height of the masts with flags. How many flags can fit on the 7th mast? How much is at the lowest? How many flags can fit on a mast that is between 7 and 5? What is her serial number?

Flags – sorting by color, defining spatial relationships (vertical, horizontal, diagonal)

Color rows are arranged horizontally, vertically, diagonally

Flags – logical and mathematical tasks

Arrange the checkboxes randomly, then give tasks

    — The wind tears flags of the same color from the middle mast. Which one?

Then he tears off a non-red flag from the second mast? Which one?

Then flags of the same color fly from the remaining masts.

On the masts where there are only 2 flags left, it is not the blue ones that are torn off. Which?

Also, just put on the flags for dictation.

Attach a green flag to the top of the 4th mast, etc.

Flags – problem solving, number composition

Count out 9 flags and hang them so that there are three flags on each mast. How many masts will there be with flags?

Remove the flags from the fifth mast and fill it with flags from the 2nd and 3rd masts (or 4 and 1). What color will the flags be and how many there are. What numbers does the number 5 consist of?

    — As you already understand, a carpet maker has an unlimited number of games and possibilities for using them not only in mathematics, but also in spatial orientation, as well as for the development of artistic creativity, for example, children love the game “Warm - Cold”, thus with the help Using colored squares, we unobtrusively study the color spectrum - which we divide into warm and cold colors, and with the help of multi-colored circles, you can lay out a pattern, which can then be easily transferred to paper.

    part 2

“But the most interesting, rich in content, polyactivity and variability and elements is the educational environment “Purple Forest”, which consists of a carpet base, rigidly mounted on the wall, size 1 * 1.25. The portable elements are attached with Velcro and can be placed in any order on the base. It is bright, designed for children to see, gasp and want to do something. And as we know, a child learns about the world around him and develops by performing certain actions.

But for one lesson, you need to plan the space of the Violet Forest that is necessary to solve a specific problem. Young children become scattered very quickly, and if there are too many distracting elements, there will be no result. The kit includes a manual for working with the Violet Forest (showing the manual). It contains game tasks for all age groups for all educational purposes.

    Problems that we can solve:

    — Familiarizing children with the world around them (seasons, natural phenomena, flora and fauna);

    — Development of cognitive processes (spatial thinking, attention, memory, creative imagination);

    — Development of abilities for analysis, comparison, generalization, seriation, classification.

    — Development of reasoned and evidence-based speech;

1 Example: for young children, sensory development is very important, and here we introduce children to shape, color, size. These are the three main elements that we need to introduce them to. If we talk about color, then for young children we use 4 colors: red, yellow, blue and green. Let's introduce quantities - big and small, and then introduce the concept of average.

I offer you the following task:

    “Help the hedgehog collect leaves”

Objectives: - strengthening the ability to identify a sign - large and small; — development of the ability to group by size.

Materials and equipment: leaves of two sizes, hedgehogs of two sizes.

Game situation: hedgehogs walked through the Purple Forest and saw a lot of beautiful leaves. They liked them so much that the hedgehogs decided to decorate their houses with leaves. The big hedgehog decided to collect large leaves, and the little one decided to collect small ones. But they just can’t cope on their own. Let's help the hedgehogs.

Assignment: put large leaves on the thorns of a large hedgehog, and small leaves for a small one (invite one or two teachers to go to the manual and complete the task).

The leaves can be hung throughout the Purple Forest, they can be given to children, or, in order to combine an activity with physical development, the leaves can be scattered on the floor. And then the children will come up, bend down and pick them up.

    Familiarization with the surrounding world.

For example, many forest animals in the fall begin to prepare their burrow-houses for the winter and begin to insulate them with leaves. And our hedgehogs and mice also decided to insulate their minks.

Objectives: - strengthening the ability to select sizes: large, medium, small; — development of the ability to group by size.

Equipment and materials: yellow leaves of three sizes, hedgehogs of two sizes, a mouse.

Game situation: Autumn has come in the purple forest, the leaves on the trees turned yellow and began to fall. The hedgehogs and mice began to prepare for hibernation, but it’s cold in the minks, they need to be insulated. How can you insulate minks? While running through the forest, the hedgehogs saw yellow leaves falling from the trees and decided to use them to insulate their holes. The big hedgehog decided to collect large leaves, the small one decided to collect medium ones, and then they heard a squeak. This mouse came running for small leaves. The minks will turn out warm, cozy and beautiful.

Task: Help the hedgehogs and the mouse collect leaves of the size they need.

You should always focus on the abilities, knowledge and skills of children. For some we start with one color and different sizes, but for others we can add both color and size.

“Let’s decorate the trees with leaves”

Objectives: - strengthening the idea of primary colors; - developing the ability to group leaves based on color.

Equipment and materials: tree trunks and colorful leaves.

Game situation: At night in the Violet Forest there was a strong wind, so strong that it blew all the leaves off the trees. The forest immediately became gloomy and boring. How to be?

Task: Decorate the trees with leaves so that they become different from each other (decorate one tree with red and green leaves, the second with blue and yellow).

The accompanying equipment for Voskobovich’s games is “Math Baskets”, with them you can teach children to correlate number and number - this is more fun and faster to remember, they are of two types - with counting up to 5 and up to 10.

The author's instructions describe more than ten games that you can play with your baby. During the game, the child also completes tasks to develop fine motor skills: he colors, traces and shades mushrooms. "Math Baskets" is a universal game for children aged two years and older.

For example, this task: - help your friends put mushroom inserts into baskets. At the same time, the teacher finds out who collected more mushrooms and who collected less? How many mushrooms do you need to put in the basket to make it full? (teachers complete the task).

"Miracle Crosses" are a multifunctional tool for developing children's mathematical and creative abilities. This game is presented in the form of a frame with various inserts, which differ from each other in shape and color. All geometric shapes are cut into separate parts. At the initial level, the child is asked to assemble fragments of figures into a single whole. I suggest that you also take out all the pieces from the playing field, and then assemble them correctly (the teachers complete the tasks).

Then the tasks become more difficult.

Using diagrams, collect various images of figures and objects. For clarity, the game is accompanied by an “Album of Figures” (teachers complete the tasks)

“Miracle - crosses” help the child master colors and shapes, develop the ability to compare and analyze, and form the concepts of whole and parts. During the game, the child develops imagination, fantasy, manual dexterity, and learns to use diagrams to solve assigned problems.

    The ship "Plush-Plush"

This educational game is made in the form of a bright boat with multi-colored sail flags that can be easily put on wooden yards. On the base of the boat there are numbers from 1 to 5. The bright flags have a rough surface. In this regard, during the game the child not only develops fine motor skills of the fingers, but also tactile sensations.

    - Attach a certain number of flags to the mast of the ship, corresponding to the number below it, sorting them by color and size, making sure to fasten all the masts with a cord (the teachers complete the task).

    — It is impossible to play all the manuals available in our group, but it is necessary to get acquainted with them, so these are games such as:

    "Voskobovich Square"

-This game is also called “Maple Leaf”, “Eternal Origami”, “Klondike”, “Transforming Square”, etc. “Voskobovich Square” consists of 32 multi-colored triangles glued onto a flexible fabric base and located at a certain distance from each other. The main colors of the game are red, yellow, blue and green. For children aged 2 to 5 years, a two-color square is offered for games, and for older children, a four-color square has been developed. “Voskobovich Square” can be easily transformed, creating a variety of three-dimensional and flat figures: an airplane, a candy, a house, a crow, a turtle, etc. These figures can be assembled according to the proposed schemes or you can come up with your own images. There are about a hundred or more folding options.

It should be noted that Voskobovich’s educational game is accompanied by a fascinating fairy tale “The Mystery of the Raven Meter” and educational aids. Mom Trapezium, grandfather Quadrangle, baby Square, dad Rectangle and other fairy-tale characters will help the child solve the assigned tasks.

“Voskobovich Square” is an effective game that develops in a child abstract thinking, modeling skills, the ability to navigate in space, develops creative potential, perseverance, memory, attention and other psychological processes. It is important that this manual is compact and practical. “Voskobovich Square” can always be carried with you and, whenever the opportunity arises, play with children.

    "The Magic Eight"

Variability: - work on the playing field or on the table; - pulling out sticks, slipping them under the rubber band; - single-color and multi-colored laying out of sticks (rotation); - work with one and two hands; - work with verbal instructions: show, put, find...; - modeling from sticks on the table (fence, house, flower)

    “The cord is a baby”

We tie a knot at the end of the string. We start with learning to dive and emerge. Then we teach them to bend around the buttons. This movement is more subtle and develops children's fingers well. And as you know, any action with your hands contributes to the development of speech and thinking. When we have mastered the actions with one hand, we do the same with the other hand. In children under 3-4 years of age, the main hand does not stand, so by developing both hands, we develop both hemispheres. To complicate the task, you can offer diagrams and verbal instructions.

    "Transparent square"

In the game with the magical ice floes of Lake Eyes, you can put each other's plates on top of each other, matching the painted parts. Subject silhouettes can also be obtained by applying geometric shapes on plates to each other.

“Igrovisor” is an album of two sheets. The base sheet is made of cardboard, the second sheet is a film on which you can draw with a marker from this kit. Everything drawn can be easily erased with a paper napkin. The reusability of this manual makes it even more attractive. It is enough to place a sheet with a graphic image (copybooks, labyrinths or coloring book) under the film and the task for the baby is ready.

And in conclusion, dear teachers, a few small recommendations:

During the game, it is necessary to develop the child’s speech, since in the process of completing tasks, children mainly work with their hands and interact little with their environment. To do this, ask your child to comment on his actions or retell the plot, ask him more often about fairytale tasks and options for completing them.

It should be noted that Voskobovich's games are static. In this regard, take short breaks and do warm-ups with your children.

Voskobovich's games require a certain level of perseverance from the child, which is not always to the liking of children. Thus, start playing with your child for 10 minutes, then put the game aside. After a while, you can return to completing tasks. During the game, be patient and do not criticize your child if he fails. Rejoice at your baby’s victories and praise him more often.

Voskobovich's technique involves a partnership between an adult and a child during the game. The baby is surrounded by a relaxed intellectual and creative atmosphere.

Voskobovich's educational games can and should be used in joint group, subgroup and individual activities with students, and also help organize children's independent activities with games. Use the author’s methodological recommendations, and also do not be afraid to experiment.

How to conduct classes on Voskobovich games

As mentioned earlier, Voskobovich's games have a wide age range. One-year-old children are taught simple sorting of objects. Future first-graders will be interested in exploring the world of numbers and letters. You can play both at home and in an educational institution.

The versatility of gaming aids also lies in the ability to conduct classes in different forms:

    • individual,
    • group,
    • in the subgroup.

Even in an individual lesson using Voskobovich’s technology, the child is not alone, the teacher is an intermediary between him and the fairy-tale world

Methodological recommendations have been compiled for all of Voskobovich’s gaming materials. Teachers must read the author's explanation of the games . There may not be ready-made fairy tales, but the author gives clues on how to interest a child - in the story and in play items.

First, the baby gets acquainted with fairy-tale characters. Then a joint activity with the teacher is arranged. Mastering gaming techniques occurs gradually; you need to be sensitive to the abilities and individual pace of the student.

    Important.

Voskobovich's games require children to be attentive and often persevering. The younger the children, the faster they lose interest and get tired. It is necessary to alternate educational games with musical and dynamic breaks.

The teacher is a play partner, reveals game techniques, and leads the child along the path of a fairy tale story.

In the older groups of kindergarten, Voskobovich’s games are included in GCD classes: mathematics, speech development, and study of the surrounding world.

When children have mastered the principles of playing with figures (construction in various ways), it is recommended to store Voskobovich’s manuals in the play corner so that children can use them in independent activities.

Self-guided play activities mean maximum child engagement

    Speech from work experience.

“Children’s play is not fun” - the outstanding doctor and teacher P.F.
Lesgaft liked to repeat this expression, since he saw children’s play as a unique form of activity, through which they prepare for life, acquire certain skills and habits, acquire social experience, and form future character traits. Children's play is not a useless pastime, but “a smart pedagogical technique for educating a young person.” Play is the work of children. The most famous teacher in our country A.S. Makarenko characterized the role of children’s games in the following way: “Game is of great importance in a child’s life, it has the same meaning as an adult’s activity, work, service. What a child is like at play, so in many ways he will be at work. Therefore, the upbringing of a future figure occurs, first of all, in play...” A child’s spontaneously accumulative sensory and intellectual experience can be voluminous, but disordered; directing it in the right direction is what is necessary in the process of learning cognitive communication, so that both become developmental. Teaching practice has shown that success is influenced not only by the content of the proposed material, but also by the form of presentation, which can arouse the interest and cognitive activity of children. It is the game that is an effective means of shaping the personality of a preschooler, his moral and volitional qualities. Knowledge given in an entertaining form of play is absorbed by children faster, more firmly and easier than that which is associated with long, boring exercises. A simple and seemingly clear idea to everyone, but, as often happens, it is easy to say, but difficult to do. In the modern world, with such a variety of games and toys, how can you choose something that really has powerful developmental characteristics? After all, for us, educators, it is very important that we learn while playing. That is why the problem of children's play is one of the most pressing problems of child psychology and pedagogy. In 2010, I was lucky enough to attend a seminar in Velsk, where I attended V. Voskobovich’s author’s course “Fairy Tale Labyrinths of Games” and became acquainted with the technology of educational games by this author. Voskobovich's educational games are a special, original, creative and very kind methodology. Games are based on three basic principles: interest, knowledge, creativity. These are not just games - they are fairy tales, intrigues, adventures, funny characters that encourage the child to think and be creative.

I had a great desire to use these games in my practice. But, having studied additional methodological literature, I realized that desire alone is not enough. Organizing the pedagogical process so that the child plays, develops and learns at the same time is a rather difficult task.

Therefore, I set a goal for myself: “To get acquainted with V. Voskobovich’s gaming technology and its application in various forms of work in kindergarten.” To achieve this goal, I set myself the following tasks:

    1. Study methodological recommendations for Voskobovich’s gaming technology

    "Fairytale labyrinths games."

    1. Create a specific developmental environment for effectively solving educational problems in this technology.
    2. Introduce children to Voskobovich’s games and arouse interest in them.
    3. Activate the pedagogical skills of parents in the intellectual development of the child by introducing them to this technology.

Game technology for the intellectual and creative development of children 3-7 years old “Fairy tale labyrinths games” is a form of interaction between children and adults through the implementation of a certain plot using Voskobovich’s educational games.

They have a number of features.

    • Wide age range of game participants.

Children of three and seven years old, and sometimes even high school students, can play the same game. This is possible because simple physical manipulation is accompanied by a system of ever-increasingly complex developing questions and cognitive tasks.

    • Multifunctionality of Voskobovich's educational games.

Games can be used to solve a large number of educational problems. Unbeknownst to yourself, the baby masters numbers or letters; recognizes and remembers color and shape; learns to count and navigate in space; trains fine motor skills of the hands; improves speech, thinking, attention, memory, imagination.

    • Variability of game tasks and exercises.

For each game, a large number of different tasks and exercises have been developed, aimed at solving one educational problem. This variability is determined by the design of the game and the combination of materials from which it is made.

    • The creativity of every game.

Educational games give both children and adults the opportunity to invent and implement their plans into reality.

The combination of variability and creativity makes games interesting for a child for a long period of time, turning the gaming process into a “long-lasting” delight.

The technology solves the following problems:

    • Development of a child’s cognitive interest, desire and need to learn new things.
    • Development of observation, research approach to phenomena and objects of the surrounding reality.
    • Development of imagination, creative thinking (the ability to think flexibly, originally, to see an ordinary object from a new angle).
    • Harmonious, balanced development of children's emotional, figurative and logical principles.
    • Formation of basic ideas (about the surrounding world, mathematical), speech skills.
    • Construction of a pedagogical process that promotes the intellectual and creative development of children in play.

Methodological support has been developed for Voskobovich's educational games in the form of fairy tales of the Violet Forest, a kind of fairy-tale space in which each game has its own area and its own hero. A child, listening to a fairy tale, becomes the protagonist of the events, “lives” mysterious and funny fairy-tale adventures, overcomes, together with the hero, completely non-fairytale obstacles, and achieves success. At the same time, he gets acquainted with the game, answers search questions, solves intellectual problems, and performs creative tasks.

According to the educational tasks to be solved, all Voskobovich’s educational games can be divided into three groups:

    1. Games aimed at logical and mathematical development , the purpose of which is the development of mental operations, and game actions are the manipulation of numbers, geometric shapes, and properties of objects.

    2. Games with letters, sounds, syllables and words , in which the child solves logical problems with letters, composes syllables and words, as a result of which the process of complex learning to read turns into an entertaining game.

3.Universal game educational tools that can be used in various classes, creating comfortable conditions for the teacher to work and bringing pleasure to children.

The content of the “Fairy Tale Mazes Game” technology is the effective development of mental processes of attention, memory, imagination, thinking, speech and early creative development of preschool children.

Intellectual abilities in preschool children develop better if, as psychologists believe, the principle of a high level of difficulty is adhered to in their work. When no obstacles arise in front of a child that they can overcome, their development is weak and sluggish. Constant and gradual complication of games (“in a spiral”) makes it possible to maintain children’s activity in the zone of optimal difficulty. Intensive development is also facilitated by productive activities carried out in the “zone of proximal development.” In every game, the child always gets some kind of “objective” result.

All training using the “Fairy Tale Mazes Game” technology is carried out in a natural activity that is the most attractive for preschoolers - a game. During the game, goal setting, planning, the ability to analyze results are developed, imagination and the symbolic function of consciousness are improved, and the internal nature of motivation is formed. Children play because they enjoy the process of playing. A learning task posed in a playful form is more understandable and accessible to a preschool child. In the situation of a developmental game, an internal need arises to acquire new knowledge and methods of action. A child, captivated by the concept of the game, does not notice that he is learning, although at the same time he encounters difficulties that require a restructuring of his ideas and cognitive activity. I realized that the use of these educational games in the pedagogical process allows us to restructure educational activities: move from the usual activities with children to cognitive play activities, organized by adults or independently. Communication with an adult in a game, colored with positive emotions, performing interesting tasks, bright, colorful design of games makes a child’s stay in kindergarten bright. The game stimulates the manifestation of the child’s creative abilities and creates conditions for his personal development. An adult can only use this natural need to gradually involve children in more complex and creative forms of play activity. The game is significantly complemented by a fairy tale. It introduces the child to the “extraordinary” world of possibilities and plans, forces him to cooperate and empathize with the characters and events.

To effectively solve educational problems using this technology, it is very important, first of all, to create an appropriate developmental environment. First, equip a group of children with at least one set of games and play aids. We purchased sets of games for a group of children of 5-6 people. Secondly, all games should be concentrated in one place, the so-called “intellectual gaming center”. One of the design options for such a “center” is a volumetric or planar Violet Forest, “populated” by characters from fairy tales-methods for Voskobovich’s educational games. The Purple Forest is a kind of virtual non-existent world, and its appearance depends on the imagination and creativity of the teacher. I made this forest out of ceiling tiles and placed it on the wall. Nearby there is a playbook for the carpet maker “Larchik”, although it may not be “part” of the Violet Forest, but in any case it is located in a well-lit place accessible to children.

The created developmental environment thus provides children with materials for creativity and gives the opportunity to act with them at any moment.

I decided to introduce this technology into my practice through circle activities. I wrote a program for the intellectual circle “Smart Men and Women”, which is designed for 4 years, starting with the second junior group (Appendix No. 1).

I planned joint gaming activities by month during the school year, taking into account gradual and constant complication.

The complexity of the game material goes in three directions:

    1. Choosing a game that matches the interests and capabilities of the child at a given time.
    2. Selection of appropriate tasks for the game.
    3. Gradual use of all games in the set.

    Specifics of educational games

The technique is suitable for classes with children aged two years and older. According to reviews, older children enjoy studying with benefits. Each task can begin with elementary manipulation of individual elements and end with solving increasingly complex problems. Games must take into account the child’s age-appropriate interests. In addition, during the gameplay, children make new discoveries and receive satisfaction (emotionally) from independently completed tasks. The game material is varied, rich, multifaceted and multifunctional.

Most games using the Voskobovich method in kindergarten or at home are accompanied by teaching aids and illustrated stories in which you need to complete tasks according to the plot or answer questions posed. The heroes of the fairy tale help the child learn the basics of mathematics or reading, teach mutual understanding and constructive communication. It is important that children do not get tired quickly, because they have the opportunity to independently choose the load and pace, switch from one task to another.

It is especially important that the use of Voskobovich’s technique in kindergarten (for beginners the technique is easy to learn; in extreme cases, you can sign up for the author’s seminar and even ask questions in person) does not require restructuring the work of the institution or changing the usual way of life at home. The adult-child relationship is a partnership, that is, the adult’s position is not assumed to be superior. The child is surrounded by a relaxed, but developing intellectual and creative atmosphere. Due to the support of creative endeavors, a feeling of internal relaxation arises, and the child does not receive negative evaluation from adults, so he feels external security.

    Vyacheslav Voskobovich's technique

    Author information

Voskobovich's method in kindergarten is used for the comprehensive development of children's creative abilities. Children who study according to the method perform mathematical operations faster than their peers, begin to read early, are able to perform creative activities and think logically, can concentrate attention and have a good memory.

    Voskobovich technique in children's

The author of the method, Vyacheslav Voskobovich, had nothing to do with psychology and pedagogy for many years. By profession he is a physics engineer. In addition to physics, Voskobovich was interested in music, wrote songs for children and adults, and was partial to poetry. His own children pushed him to create the technique. In the early nineties, it was very difficult to purchase high-quality games for the development of logic, thinking, memory and educational materials. Then Vyacheslav Voskobovich independently developed a series of games and successfully adapted it.

Educational games are universal aids that can be used repeatedly with equal success. Subsequently, a whole teaching methodology was developed based on several games, aimed at the comprehensive development of the child. At the moment, you can familiarize yourself with more than fifty games and a large number of educational aids. In Russia and neighboring countries, Vyacheslav Voskobovich’s author’s seminars are regularly held, and in kindergartens the methodology is actively being introduced into the process of learning and development.
