DURING THE CLASSES

1.Organizational moment.

Goals and objectives.

Today we have another lesson on speech development: preparing to write a concise summary. You know that this is the first part of the Russian language exam, therefore, we are preparing for the State Examination. 1 slide

— We will work in groups. (All students are divided into 4 groups in advance). The groups received materials:

— text compression techniques,

— memo “How to write a concise presentation” 2nd slide

and “How to check written text” 3 slide

- a sample of writing a concise summary

Each group received a task in advance - after studying the proposed materials, to compress the journalistic text using known compression techniques. The text is the same for all groups. Thus, the groups develop their own version of completing the task, which they present.

Each group takes turns working in a specific role position:

  • One group will be the “optimists.” What are you going to do?

- Celebrate everything positive in your speech.

  • The other group is the “pessimists”. What will this group do?

- Note everything negative in the speech.

  • The third group is “experts”. What is the task of this group?

— Evaluate the work of groups of innovators, optimists and pessimists.

(if the group of experts was able to identify additional pros or cons, then it has the right to reduce the score for the groups of optimists and pessimists by a point for each additional plus or minus).

  • The fourth group is “innovators”. This group will speak on a specific issue that has been proposed for discussion by subgroup members in advance. (criteria: clarity of speech, use of case materials to prove, confirm a point of view).

Each stage-round lasts about 10 minutes:

  • 3-4 minutes – presentation by “innovators”;
  • 2 minutes – work in groups of optimists, pessimists, experts to identify positive and negative aspects in the presented idea, summarize and analyze the information received;
  • 2 minutes – presentation by optimists and pessimists (1 minute for each group);
  • 2 minutes – work of a group of experts to determine the effectiveness of each group in terms of the activity goals set for this group; The work of each group is assessed by experts on a 5-point scale, the assessment is announced and justified.
  • 0.5 minutes - change of role positions for groups.

At the end of the lesson we will summarize.

You should remind the guys about the 5-point rating scale and pay attention to the table, which has a column for fines. The group will receive penalty points if, during the performance, one of the subgroup members makes comments out loud, discusses their questions, in other words, behaves incorrectly towards other comrades.

There is a table on the board:

Groups Innovators Optimists Pessimists Fines Total
1 group
2nd group
3 group
4 group

II . Groups defend their theses.

Slide 4
The presentation is over, each group works in its role position, discusses the positive and negative aspects of the presentation.

Optimists:

Pessimists:

Experts:

We give __ points to innovators. We give __ points to optimists. Pessimists – __ points.

Role positions are changing. (scores are shown in a table)

Other groups follow the same pattern.

  1. round: Performance of the second group.

III . Working on a sample presentation: slide 8

The presentations presented by the groups were good. There are, of course, shortcomings that we will eliminate in future work. I offer you an approximate sample presentation.

(on the screen there is a sample presentation) The teacher analyzes the sample.

In the above work, one basic compression technique is used - simplification:

In the first paragraph, three sentences are combined into one complex sentence, the subordinate part of which is a complicated simple sentence.

The second and third micro-topics use the technique of merging several sentences into one.

When compressing this text, one text compression technique was used - simplification, which is correctly used in all three microthemes.

IV . Summarizing:

Rating scale:

14-15 points =5

12-13 points=4

11-10 points=3

Reflection:

  • What will you take away from today's lesson?
  • Do you feel like you've mastered text compression techniques?
  • Which technique did you find most accessible?

What text compression technique did you use? Slide 9
