Global problems of humanity. (11th grade) - presentation

Globalization - (worldwide, worldwide), which means a sharp expansion and deepening of relationships and interdependencies between countries, peoples and individuals. It covers the spheres of politics, economics and culture.

Economic, political, social and cultural contacts The integrity and inconsistency of the modern world The newest means of mass communication The emerging global community of people.

They are of a planetary nature. They threaten the death of all humanity. They require the collective efforts of the world community.

Ecological problem. Demographic problem. The problem of peace and disarmament, prevention of nuclear war. Food problem. Energy and raw material problems. The problem of using the World Ocean. World space exploration. Human health problem

An environmental problem is a change in the natural environment as a result of anthropogenic influences, leading to disruption of the structure and functioning of nature. Reason: human production activity.

Consists of 2 parts: 1) Rapid and poorly controlled population growth in developing countries. 2) Aging of the population of developed countries and many countries with transition economies. Reason: population growth rate (especially between 1960 and 1999, the planet's population doubled.

Nuclear weapons are explosive weapons of mass destruction based on the use of intranuclear energy. Consequences: shock wave, light radiation, radioactive contamination, electromagnetic pulse.

The food problem is perhaps the oldest of all global problems of humanity. Hunger is its extreme manifestation and a huge social disaster. At the moment, the majority of the world's hungry people are Africans.

The energy problem is, first of all, the problem of reliable provision of humanity with fuel and raw materials. Limited resources and their depletion confront humanity with the need to strictly conserve energy and use new resource-saving technologies.

Recently, in world practice, when assessing the quality of life of people, the state of their health comes first. And this is not accidental: after all, it is precisely this that serves as the basis for the full life and activity of every person, and society as a whole.

The problem of using the World Ocean is a global problem, consisting in the fact that with the expansion of economic activities and the development of new sea transport routes, the waters of the World Ocean are becoming increasingly polluted with dangerous consequences for all living things.

The problem of peaceful space exploration is a global problem, consisting in preventing the threat from space to some countries from other countries.

New political thinking is the call of the times. It must manifest itself in all spheres of human activity. Instill in people new moral and ethical values. Unite all of humanity. Carry out transformations of unprecedented scale and depth throughout the world.

Global problems are a challenge to the human mind. It is impossible to escape them. They can only be overcome. To overcome through the efforts of every person and every country in close cooperation for the great goal of preserving the opportunity to live on Earth. Every person must realize that Humanity is on the verge of destruction, and whether we survive or not is the merit of each of us.

Interrelation of global problems of humanity

Political problems are dangerous for humanity; peace, war, arms race; solutions to regional religious and military-political conflicts in Europe, Asia and Africa. Next come environmental issues. Demographic problems vary in different regions of the world. Numerous social problems (health, education, science and culture, social security) require significant funds and highly qualified specialists to solve. Over the past decades, humanity has achieved the greatest success in solving global economic problems - raw materials and energy. In some regions, the food problem has worsened. Intersectoral problems such as the development of the World Ocean and peaceful space exploration are becoming increasingly relevant.

The problem of different “poles” of economic development

The problem of different poles is due to the emergence of a division of the deep character of north and south. This division occurs between states that are already developed and those classified as developing countries.

Developing countries need help from other countries to provide more flexible terms. The backwardness of most states is a dangerous factor not only of an internal nature, but also for the economic situation in the world economy as a whole.

An integral part of the economic space is the more backward position of the southern countries, so their problems become common to all states. One can observe an increasingly active movement of population from less developed countries to countries with a high level of development. This contributes to the transmission of a number of diseases, as well as an increase in the burden on the economy, problems with social security, etc.

The way to solve this problem lies in a new concept, the essence of which is active assistance to developing countries with unstable economic conditions. The main ideas of this concept should be highlighted:

  • preferential treatment for states that follow the path of development in the formation of international relations.
  • Real assistance of a stable nature to solve the social and economic problems of backward countries, which reduces the debt burden and helps to deal with current problems.

  • poor development of scientific and technological progress, etc.

Global problems include a set of problems that call into question not only the development of the planet, but also each individual country in the economic sense, as well as the existence of humanity as a whole.

These problems raise issues that require urgent solutions and full-fledged measures on the part of world society. Let's look at the main problems and ways to solve them.
