Tourist game for primary schoolchildren “We’re on a hike”

1

Are you going on a hike? Then it’s time to think about how to provide leisure for yourself and others. Camping games not only allow you to have fun, but also help children get acquainted with the world around them, teenagers learn to work in a team, and adults, at least for a while, forget about everyday work. The information from our article can be a good help for parents, preschool teachers, children's camp counselors, and simply those who are going camping on the weekend.

Dating games

What to play on a hike and get to know each other better? If strangers and children of different ages are going on a hike, then getting to know each other will help to unite the team and introduce the participants to each other in a playful way.

Game "Border"

The goal is to learn as much as possible about each other.

  1. The border is being drawn. This could be a line drawn on the ground, laid out branches, etc.
  2. All participants stand on one side.
  3. The presenter voices a series of questions one by one. For example, “Who loves chocolate?”, “Who has a pet at home?”, “Who has gone on excursions before?” etc.
  4. Participants who are united by one or another answer to a question cross the border.

Camping gamesGame "Border"
Questions can be varied. In this way, useful information about the participants of the hike will be learned, which will further help in communication and finding common interests.

Game "Thrush"

The goal of the game is to get to know each other in a playful way. Anyone can participate, but it is desirable that there be an equal number of girls and boys.

  1. The players are divided into girls and boys and form two circles: outer and inner.
  2. The inner circle turns its back to the center, the outer circle turns its face. Thus, pairs are formed.
  3. Participants standing opposite each other pronounce words and perform the following movements:
  • “I am a blackbird and you are a blackbird” - point to themselves and to the one who stands opposite;
  • “I have a nose and you have a nose” - touch the tip of your nose and the nose of the neighbor opposite;
  • “I have cheeks and you have cheeks” - touch your own and your opponent’s cheeks;
  • “I have scarlet lips and you have scarlet lips” - touch your lips and your neighbor’s;
  • “You and I are two friends and we respect each other” - they hug or shake hands, saying their names.

Afterwards, the participants take a step to the right and form new pairs. The dating process begins again. This continues until all players become familiar with each other.

Game "Fall"

The goal of the game is to get to know each other, build trust in each other, and remove the feeling of fear. The nuance of the game is that the majority of participants should be older.

  1. One player is selected and stands on some hill.
  2. The remaining players stand at the bottom in one team and put their hands forward. Their task is to catch the falling participant.
  3. The facilitator asks the team if they are ready or not. All the guys must answer that they are ready.
  4. The person who is falling asks the leader whether he should fall or not. The fall is performed only when the leader said: “Fall.”
  5. The player crosses his arms over his chest and falls backwards into the crowd of guys.

It is necessary to ensure maximum safety for all participants. After the game there is a discussion and analysis of what is happening. If someone refused to fall because of fear, they try to help him overcome this feeling.

Moreover, within this type of quests there is a division - into vehicular and pedestrian ones. There are also extreme games that include visiting abandoned and not the safest locations. Tasks can also be received in different ways. You can plan your vacation to visit a certain themed game and compete on speed with other participants, or register on the website, purchase a quest route and complete it separately when it is convenient for you. Team building games

A close-knit team is strength, support and the ability to work in a team as if you were working for yourself. It can be difficult for guys, especially in adolescence, to make friends and find common ground. In a game form, you can play and find a common language much faster.

Game "Secret Friend"

The game requires preliminary preparation. The names of all participants in the hike are written on separate pieces of paper and placed in a separate bag or box. Upon arrival, when you have free time, you can start playing.

When all the players meet, each participant pulls out one of their pieces of paper with someone’s name written on it. The person whose name he draws out will see and become his secret friend. If someone draws out their name, the procedure is repeated.

The “secret friend” in some way becomes your ward. You need to take care of him, do nice little things, help. It's not what you do that matters. The main thing is that the person is in a good mood. The whole point of the game is that all the pleasant little things are done as unnoticeably as possible. At the end of the hike, the participants gather and make an assumption about who his “secret friend” was, and of course the secret is revealed about who he really was.

Game "Who am I"

An old but interesting game. For this, you need to prepare sticker cards with symbols in advance. Each player is given a card with the name of an animal, actor, cartoon character, etc. the main thing is that there is one topic. You can prepare several sets. For example, with the names of plants, animals, poets, etc.

Game "Who am I"

They put stickers on their foreheads. The player must know who the other participants are, but should not know who he himself is. Each player, going clockwise, begins to ask leading questions that can be answered either “yes” or “no,” thus guessing who is who. During the entire game, each participant must ask no more than 15 questions.

Game "Stationery Picture"

A good outdoor game for a hike in order to learn how to work in a company. All participants in the hike are divided into two or three teams. The principle of the game is to lay out a picture from natural materials, for example, on the theme “Sea”.

Before you start, give each team 50 minutes to discuss what exactly they want to see in their painting. Set a time limit, such as 10 minutes. During the game, children learn to listen to each other’s opinions, work together, and express their point of view.

After the paintings are ready, you need to discuss each of them, find out why the choice fell on such an image.

Journey

GAME FORMULA

40% Flower

20% of Hayao Miyazaki's magic

25% surrealism

15% oriental aesthetics

The sand shimmers in the sun and rustles pleasantly underfoot, whimsical creatures hover thoughtfully over the desert, and a lonely little traveler, despite all obstacles, wanders to his personal oasis - a magical mountain on the horizon. Exclusive for PlayStation 3.

• Occasionally you can see bright stars pouring down from the mountain on the horizon.

Journey is an emotional game, an interactive story without words, but with music that flows through the entire narrative and subjugates every movement. Most of all, it is similar to the previous project of Jenova Chen and his Thatgamecompany

Flower
, where we played with a stream of wind collecting flower petals.

For some, Journey will turn out to be a silent philosophical parable, a story about the difficulties of life's path, in which the main thing is to strive for your goal and move forward without looking back. For another it will be an allusion to the cycle of samsara. The third will see in it only a picturesque picture, a sketch about the journey of a little man through a bizarre world, where everything is much larger than himself.

Our hero is a nameless wanderer, an unusual creature, as if he came from the paintings of Hayao Miyazaki: without arms, with a black matte face and in a long robe, from under which thin legs stick out. The task is simple - cross the desert and get to the mountain that constantly looms on the horizon.

The world of Journey is difficult to describe in words, it is surreal and does not work according to the laws of physics that are familiar to us - the local desert is more reminiscent of the sea. The Wanderer often lifts off the ground and floats through the air like a jellyfish. And when creating the local fauna, the designers were clearly inspired by sea inhabitants: fancy ribbons of algae grow from the sand, “sea stingrays” woven from the same ribbons hover over the dunes, smaller ribbons curl around the stones, looking like schools of fish...

In the world of Journey, almost all living things are made of such tapes. The main character also has one - a magical red scarf flutters behind his back and allows him to soar up in defiance of gravity. There are special signs hidden in game locations that increase the length of the scarf. It’s worth collecting them not only for aesthetic pleasure: the longer the scarf, the longer you can float in the air.

• From time to time the hero sees dreams in which someone draws his fate.

The wanderer has no hands, but he has a voice - the main means for interacting with the outside world, with it he revives the local inhabitants, and they give him energy in return. Sounds of different strengths and tonality that the hero makes at the press of a single button awaken dormant creatures: ribbon trains dangling limply in the air turn into bridges and stairs, small ones wrap around the hero and throw him into the air, and stingrays pick him up and carry him to where impossible to get there any other way.

Why does the wanderer have no hands?

Jenova Chen has repeatedly admitted that many design decisions in his games are dictated by technical difficulties and limitations. For example, in Flower the wind flow was chosen as the main character, partly because there simply weren’t any good animators in the studio at that time...

“I think the best design often comes from constraints.”

, said Chen, and looking at his games, it’s hard to argue with that.
So, for example, the main character in Journey does not have full legs simply because it is very difficult to correctly calculate the animation of movement on the sand - only Naughty Dog managed this in Uncharted 3. And with arms it is even simpler: “Previously, our character still had hands, so when he jumped from platform to platform and missed, people would say to us, "Why can't he grab the edge of the platform like Drake or Prince of Persia?"
We answered: “Well, we really don’t have anyone to work on this.” So the hands had to be removed...” For similar reasons, Chen's team stays away from realism. They call the style they work in impressionistic realism

.

Formally, Journey is an online game. Sometimes in the desert you can meet another traveler - a random player who can help you on your journey for free, sharing his energy, and you, in turn, are free to help him. There is no nickname looming over his head, you cannot talk to him, you cannot give him a command - you can either move on together, or just silently disperse. The companion does not play a special role, you can reach the mountain on your own, but... this has its own charm - silently moving towards the same goal with a complete stranger! The most you can do is make sounds of different timbres and play simple melodies: you get a completely new language of communication, which the players invent themselves. This is how the game's authors imagine a cooperative in an original way.

• All companions you meet will remain anonymous until the end credits - and only then will you be able to see their names.

All Thatgamecompany games are built on emotions, and here we can once again remember Flower: we started the game on serene fields, created life and felt like a creator. But then suddenly they found themselves in the dark labyrinths of industrial buildings. There was iron, dirt, darkness everywhere - and from such a sharp contrast, sweat appeared on my forehead. Well, in the end the world began to bloom with colors again, and the sun lit up in the sky...

Journey, in the same way, allows you to experience a full range of emotions: the childish joy of rolling down a mountain in a race with purring stingrays; sympathy for a random nameless companion; the excitement and fear in the dark caves under the desert when you first meet a real enemy; and euphoria at the end, catharsis on the sunny peak of the very mountain that was already beginning to seem unattainable. Journey is a game that is perceived solely on an emotional level; This is a completely new gaming experience and simply aesthetic pleasure. A three-hour (about how long the game lasts) journey, after which you really don’t want to return to the harsh and so ugly reality.

• The visuals in Journey are direct proof that design is more important than the power of the engine and shaders.

VERDICT

Like the team's previous games, Journey ends quickly, but is memorable for a long time. I don’t want to leave this desert; the journey seriously takes me out of reality.

Some call Journey the peak of what Jenova Chen and his studio have achieved. But we still believe that they are still only on the way to their personal grief.

And when the driver unexpectedly says: “Stop!”, the one who still has the ball in his hands is “burned,” that is, he lost and leaves the game. And so on until only one of the most persistent remains. The winner becomes the driver.
