The class teacher has no right
- collect money from children or parents on their own initiative or at the request of the school administration; - disclose personal information about students, parents, teachers to third parties (the whole class, at parent-teacher meetings), as this will violate the law on personal data; - take the class outside the school alone if there are more than 10 people in the class (one adult accompanying person is required for every 10 people, so parents or other teachers can be invited). It is mandatory to write a statement addressed to the director about where and when you go with the children, attaching a list of students.
Operating rules
The teacher must have rules according to which the educational and educational process is organized in a given educational institution. The work folder of the 5th grade class teacher must also include the Charter of the school.
It is also considered mandatory to conduct all briefings with students on the rules of fire safety, behavior during excursions, on the roads, during spring floods, on thin ice, etc. Any working folder of the class teacher (5th grade, Federal State Educational Standard) has a sheet of attendance, meals , as well as checking student diaries. As additional material, the class teacher includes in the class journal and certificates of the results of administrative checks carried out by the school management.
Together with a child psychologist, psychological and pedagogical characteristics are created for each individual student; they should also be contained in a typical folder of a 5th grade class teacher according to the Federal State Educational Standard. The class teacher maintains the health sheet together with the school medical worker. Information about the hobbies and interests of schoolchildren can be presented in the form of presentations, video fragments, photographs - the choice is up to the teacher himself. It is desirable that the 5th grade class teacher’s folder also contain information about the activist group, the parent committee, and public assignments that fifth graders perform.
According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education, within the framework of the Federal State Educational Standard, the design of the 5th grade class teacher’s folder also involves the creation of special performance tables for all academic disciplines. In addition, the teacher is obliged to monitor the social educational rating of his students and monitor the dynamics of their achievements. If a sharp drop in rating is detected, the responsibilities of the class teacher include studying the situation and finding, together with the parents, a way to resolve it.
Also, the 5th grade class teacher’s folder includes a description of the individual work carried out with individual students, as well as a record of all lessons missed by fifth graders without a good reason. As additional material, the class teacher can also include information about parents and scenarios of educational activities carried out in the assigned class in the folder. Without fail, the 5th grade class teacher’s folder includes quarterly planning of educational activities, as well as long-term annual planning of the teacher’s work.

Minutes No. 1 of the parent meeting
Date: October
Present: 5 people.
Topic: “Difficulties in adaptation of fifth-graders at school”
.Goal: 1. Meet the parents and listen to the brief characteristics they will give to their children.
2. Talk about the training requirements in your subject.
Results of the 2nd quarter.
Good evening, dear parents! We are very glad to see you today, and thank you for taking the time to attend the parent meeting, despite your busy schedule.
Parental workshop in the form of the game “Rainbow of Feelings”
There is a rainbow on the board, each color of the arc expresses a wide variety of feelings that a person can experience. After your child crossed the school threshold, feelings and emotions settled firmly in your soul, in your heart, and filled your entire existence. Choose your colorful arc and name that feeling.
Red
– joy, delight, because your child is studying in this class or school.
Green
– peace of mind for the future of my child.
Blue
- anxiety, concern, confusion.
Black
– fear, anticipation of trouble, anxiety.
Parents name the feelings that overwhelm them. This task allows us to identify problems and difficulties that arise in families.
So, the topic of our meeting is “Difficulties in adaptation of fifth-graders at school.”
For two months now our children have been middle school students. The moment has come when we can sum up the first results on the adaptation of children in the fifth grade.
The complexity of this period lies not only in changing the conditions associated with educational activities, but also in the transition to a new stage of one’s psychophysical development, i.e. to a new stage of age development which is accompanied by the collapse of the outdated system of views and values, i.e. the parental one, and the formation of a new one of our own. In other words, before you decided what was good and what was bad for the child, but now he himself wants to understand what is good and what is bad for him. It is this period in the life of children 10-12,13 years old that is associated with the acquisition of a sense of adulthood - a new personal formation of younger adolescents. And it is characterized by the presence of a conflict between an increased need to depend on adults and the desire for autonomy. In other words, the child wants to gain freedom from parental control and at the same time is afraid of it because... doesn't know how to manage it. The difficulty lies in the fact that the teenager, on the one hand, resists manifestations of care and affection, and on the other, shows a desire to be pampered. Thus, the child ceases to be obedient and polite as he was before. Parents often do not understand what is happening to their child and begin to tighten restrictions, which can in turn lead to acute emotional disorders. Teenagers also strive to prove to others their maturity through socially unacceptable forms of behavior when they are faced with misunderstanding and unwillingness of parents and adults in general to change something in their relationships with them. These forms of behavior include: the use of profanity in the presence and communication with adults, demonstrative opposition to the opinion of an adult, etc.
Functions of a class teacher and what is needed to implement them:
- Know the first name, last name, home address, telephone number (preferably) of each child in his class, as well as the full name of parents (legal representatives), their telephone number. I also asked for information about the parents’ place of work, but they are most likely redundant. In this case, the following functions of the class teacher from among the organizational and coordinating ones are implemented:
— ensuring communication between the educational institution and the family;
— establishing contacts with parents (other legal representatives) of students...;
- This data is also necessary for the following function:
— maintaining documentation (class journal, personal files of students).
- Know character traits of the child (if possible). Not all character traits and inclinations are visible to the teacher immediately or even over time. Parents see the student in their own way, in a different environment. We all want the child to be perceived as an individual with all the characteristics of character and behavior, so tell the class teacher about them. This may be necessary for:
— Organization in the classroom of an educational process that is optimal for the development of the positive potential of students’ personalities within the framework of the activities of the school team;
interaction with each student and the class team as a whole;
To carry out communication functions:
regulation of interpersonal relationships between students;
establishing interaction between teaching staff and students;
providing assistance to students in the formation of communicative skills
- Know the reason for the child's absence from classes . The class teacher is responsible for the life and health of the child during classes. That's why they ask you statements, notes, certificates, etc. Based on these documents, the administration draws up an official order to release the child from classes. Thus, the parent (legal representative) assumes responsibility for the life and health of the child during classes. This is the control function:
monitoring student attendance at classes.
- Must cook and host PTA meetings and parent meetings (both group and individual)
conducting consultations and conversations with parents (other legal representatives) of students;
- —check your diaries at least once a week (give grades, paste in important information for parents, inform about the date of the parent-teacher meeting, etc.). Now there are electronic diaries, and most of the information is posted on the school website (the school is obliged to constantly update information on the website to ensure the information openness of the educational institution, keep this in mind). But many parents would like to receive information from paper the old fashioned way.
monitoring the progress of each student;
- to know the medical indications and contraindications of each child. The teacher does not have the right to demand medical reports and diagnoses. But parents, if they wish, can indicate whether the child has allergies or physical characteristics that need to be taken into account when organizing the educational process (for example, poor eyesight).
- Know the social status of the family (whether the family is low-income (officially), how many children are in the family, whether the parents are divorced). This information is collected for the activities of the social teacher.
providing assistance to parents in raising students (personally, through a psychologist, social teacher, additional education teacher)
Going with children to the cinema, theater and other educational or entertainment events -
organizing educational work with students through “small teacher councils”, pedagogical councils, thematic and other events;
The methodological recommendations also highlight the forms of work that the class teacher can use to carry out his functions: individual (conversations, consultations); group (for example, self-government bodies, which for some reason have now ceased to be relevant, at least in my school); collective (competitions, performances, concerts).
The success of the work is proposed to be assessed by the level of social development of students (general culture, discipline), that is, by results. The work process itself is also assessed, that is, how the class teacher organized educational work with students, how he interacts with the school staff and parents.
But some things are still not covered in the document, but, in my opinion, are important for work - this is what cannot be done in the work of a class teacher and a little about his schedule.
