Music Director Essay
Essay “I am a teacher”
Oh, music . How beautiful you are. You immerse us in the world of colors, feelings, emotions... You make us live, love, create... You are affectionate, gentle, sometimes angry, but only the heart and soul perceives you.
Is it possible to live without music ? I think not. Music is not a hobby , it is a component of your life, like work, family, friends...
as a music director in a kindergarten for more than five years now I want to share my thoughts about the profession of music director , to reveal the meaning of my teaching activity.
Music director is more than a profession; it provides an opportunity to realize creative potential. " Musical "
- beautiful, sensual, affectionate, playful.
“
Leader ” - giving a hand to the ignorant, the fearful, and leading into the new, unknown, beautiful... We teach to love, understand, empathize, feel.
This profession organically combines many types of art, and at the same time, the music director bears responsibility for the spiritual world of the students: after all, you are not only a musician , you are a poet and composer, screenwriter and director, choirmaster and choreographer.
And above all, a psychologist and teacher! I am proud of my profession because I devote my life to children. To those who have not comprehended the secrets of our work, it seems everyday: plans, scenarios, developments... And, at its core, it is joyful, because next to us are the purest, most sincere people - our children.
Working with preschool children, I never cease to be amazed at how amazing, funny, capable, talented, and curious they are. Each child is unique in his own way, with his own character and mood, talent and unpredictability. And the future of my students depends on what I know and can do, and what I teach them.
The highest achievement of my work is to develop creative abilities in children, to instill a love and interest in art in children and their parents. When my children grow up and become adults, they will appreciate my efforts. The best reward for my work will be the opportunity for my students to live in harmony with the wonderful world of music .
During my stay in kindergarten, I had the opportunity to work with different ages: from the junior nursery to the preparatory school group, and I will say without hiding that each age has its own “zest”
, its distinctive features. When you work with younger children, you watch how they carefully, with their mouths open, listen to songs, try to sing along, and in the preparatory group I never tire of admiring the successes that the children achieve - they sing, dance, emotionally recite poems, and fantasize.
Every time the children leave kindergarten after the prom, I remember the whole path that we have traveled together and a piece of my soul leaves with them.
I am proud that my former students greet me when they meet me and share their news and achievements. I am even more happy when I find out that my students continue to study music , go to theater, dance and vocal studios. You think I managed to instill a love for art. Of course, not everyone is given the opportunity to become an artist, but I want to believe that children will remember our activities in kindergarten with delight, and will enter the future with confidence and will be able to easily walk through life.
The time of progress inexorably provides opportunities for self-improvement. of musical activity is of no small importance for providing a child with a positive sense of self . To satisfy the curiosity of a modern child, knowledge of modern methods and technologies is necessary. I try to learn, study, test something new, fresh in the field of musical education , keep up with new technologies and methods: I widely use rhythmic declamation, flash mobs, animated dances, quests, and project activities in my work. I develop a love of patriotism through folklore, I select material so that there is a good, moral beginning, I take into account the theme and age characteristics of children. Thanks to this, our classes and holidays take place in an atmosphere of lightness, freedom, and friendly communication. I can say with confidence that musical activity is an active, creative process that promotes intense personal growth and development. In each type of activity, a child can successfully realize his abilities and satisfy the needs of the individual. And this is a positive sense of self. And it will become even deeper and brighter if children cooperate with loved ones: parents, grandparents. In the process of such co-creation - children, families and teachers - boys and girls become active, inquisitive, independent and achieve good results. To make parents my associates, active participants in the lives of children, I conduct consultations, master classes, exchange of experiences, open screenings with the participation of parents, quizzes, intellectual musical games , reporting concerts, excursions, joint participation in competitions, and much more. I was convinced that in the process of joint activities, children begin to perceive their parents in a new way, as allies. With our students, we take an active part not only in events held inside the kindergarten, but also in city festivals and competitions and take prizes.
There is never a dull moment in kindergarten; every day is filled with something new and unexpected. It is simply impossible to calculate the situation. How does my day start? From music . How does the day end for me? Music . An invigorating exercise in the morning, and then wonderful journeys with children into the world of music .
At work, daily self-education in communication with children, colleagues, parents. During my work, fate brought me together with wonderful people. I learn difficult skills from more experienced and senior teachers, and young colleagues happily support the use of new methods and technologies.
When I come home with thoughts about work, new ideas are constantly born in my head, sometimes songs do not leave me even at home, I start singing - my family sings along with me with pleasure. Despite the workload and busyness, I manage to fulfill my family responsibilities. My son goes to first grade. I am interested in his school life, I know what first-graders do during singing lessons, so it is not difficult for me to structure my work so that there is continuity with the school. I ask, what do you want to do? His answer is to sing, and he is also my student.
In my free time, I like to pamper myself with an exciting book, and I like to participate and win in various competitions. The most significant award for me is the 3rd degree laureate at the 52nd International Festival-Competition “WORD ART”
, Ekaterinburg, 2020.
I think that the profession of music director became my calling, it helped me find my path, my place in life, it gave me the opportunity to sincerely devote myself to what I love, give my love and knowledge to children and not get burned out from it. Having thought about everything, I come to the conclusion that I am a happy person: I have a wonderful family, an exciting profession.
I would like to end my essay Whatever a little person becomes, whatever art he prefers, it is important that he becomes a HUMAN.
Klochkova Nadezhda Aleksandrovna
Music director of kindergarten No. 98
“There are many different professions in the world,
And each has its own charm.
But there is nothing more noble, more necessary and more wonderful,
Than the one I work for.”
For me, a music director is not just a profession, it is a title that must be carried with dignity, so that later your students will remember their childhood with music, as I still remember. “Musical education is not the education of a musician, but, first of all, the education of a person,” said V. A. Sukhomlinsky.
And the sage is right who said that you cannot instill love for what you yourself do not love.
In my profession, two of the greatest miracles are combined - children and music, and it depends on me whether music will help develop the best qualities of a child: spiritual sensitivity, the ability to feel the harmony of the surrounding world, kindness, receptivity to beauty.
From the outside, it seems to many that my profession boils down to playing the piano and singing along with children at matinees. But this is far from true! In essence, a “musical director” is a universal teacher. He must be able to answer all children’s “whys”, be able to “awaken and support” the desire to communicate and perceive the world around him through feelings and emotions. He is at the same time a musician and a singer, a dancer and an artist, a sculptor and a reader, a screenwriter and a holiday director.
My main purpose is to convey the beauty of music to every child, so that he can see, understand and feel through it all the charm of this wonderful world, to teach children to empathize, to be sensitive, sincere, to love their country, their people, their land - It is music that helps me awaken these feelings in my students.
Children today are the people who will build our world tomorrow! Preschool age is the most favorable age when close contact and mutual understanding are established between a child and an adult. Preschoolers are the most sincere students, my little friends. Without pretense, they truthfully express their desires, show interest, love to sing, look forward to new encounters with music, and are waiting for me! Knowing that their favorite activity is play, I turn any task or exercise, even learning a complex dance or song, into a game. And then this difficult task becomes not so difficult. I see how the guys “grow” before my eyes, accumulate knowledge and experience, and show creative abilities.
It is a great happiness for me to see the happy faces of my students, their sincere, genuine joy when they make a discovery for themselves. The soul of a child is the whole world! A world not yet known to him, and step by step, together we discover new facets of it, enriching him with the beauty of life and art.
What is the happiness of my work? A person’s happiness largely depends on the meaning he puts into his work and on “falling in love with his work.” It comes when I see that my children can dance a lively dance, or sing a Russian song, play cheerfully in an orchestra, or show a fairy tale.
It is extremely pleasant to see in my students a “piece” of my work, “sprouts” of the “seeds” I planted! And even if they are not yet outstanding singers, dancers and musicians, but to see how at the prom the gentlemen invite the ladies to their first waltz... believe me, words cannot describe it! Honestly, this makes it worth living and working!
Each of my working days is different from the previous one, because the work of a music director is a constant search for something new, interesting, educational, and educational. With modern children, you cannot be a teacher of “yesterday’s knowledge”, because only a person who is constantly learning and improving his professional level can be called a teacher with a capital “T”. A music director studies all his life, developing and improving his professional experience and generously sharing it with colleagues, like-minded people, and parents. Much that was dreamed and thought about was achieved. But for some reason there is no peace in my soul: eternal search, eternal work. The energy of childhood is inexhaustible and I try to direct it in the right direction.
Music Director Essay
"Me, music and children"
Nadezhda Medvedeva
Music
inspires the whole world, supplies the soul with wings, promotes the flight of imagination;
music
gives life and joy to everything that exists.
She can be called the embodiment of all that is beautiful and all that is sublime.
I work as a music director
.
What does a music director mean in kindergarten
?
How many new abilities this profession has revealed in me! The specialty of a music director is unique in
that it combines different professions:
musician and artist
, screenwriter and director, costume designer and actor, make-up artist and sound engineer.
He designs a music hall
, writes scripts, and hosts numerous holidays.
And how many types of activities need to be mastered in the process of musical
and general development of children: listening to
music
, singing,
musical
and rhythmic activity, theatrical performance, playing
musical instruments
.
My many years of experience allow me to conclude that working with children in all these types of activities certainly presupposes the creativity of the teacher himself, without which it is impossible to imagine the creative development of children. the musical
and creative development of children and the atmosphere of joy in kindergarten largely depend on how interesting you are, professionally literate, and talented
Every day spent with children encourages me to search for new ideas, stimulates me to improve my level of skill in order to further enjoy the results of my achievements and rejoice at the successes of my students.
Every day, when getting ready for work, you involuntarily ask yourself questions: What awaits me today? How will the kids greet and appreciate me? How will learning a new dance go with older students? Will the music
performance with the participation of senior students and teachers? I receive answers to all these questions during work or at the end of the working day. Sometimes, I cannot find answers to the questions that arise on my own, then I resort to the help of colleagues, look for answers in the literature, thereby increasing my self-education, which is an indispensable condition for the professional growth of any teacher.
In the modern education system, improving the qualifications of each teacher, mastering the latest pedagogical technologies and methods, is an important stage throughout his entire activity. Only a person who constantly studies and improves his professional level can be called a teacher with a capital T. A music director is a lifelong learner.
, developing and improving your professional experience and generously sharing it with colleagues, like-minded people, and parents.
Reflecting on my profession, I came to the conclusion that I stand at the origins of the birth of a child’s personality. It's up to me whether the music
develop the best qualities of his personality: spiritual sensitivity, the ability to feel the harmony of the surrounding world, kindness, sensitivity to beauty.
The first meetings with the kids, when they first came to kindergarten, remain in the memory for a long time. During this difficult adaptation period for a child, it is necessary to plan musical
activities in such a way that, forgetting grief and separation from people close to him, he can immerse himself in an atmosphere of joy and delight. In our modern age of computerization, innovation, improvement of programs and requirements for them, completely different kids come to kindergarten: modern, developed, active, but there is something that unites children of yesteryear and modern kids - this is the desire to feel love, care, affection from an adult who is currently replacing his mother! And I carry this feeling throughout the many years of my work.
In constant search for new discoveries for ourselves and our students in the magical, wonderful world of music
, time flies unnoticed.
You look, and your kids have already grown up and are ready to “take wing”
.
At the graduation party, I feel joy that the children have grown up
, pride, that
music
has become a part of their lives, sadness, because parting is always sad, and even more so if you part with the fidgets you love. But mostly I feel satisfaction from my profession.
I am convinced that the profession of a music director
the best in the world!
A musical director is a person
who instills hope and self-confidence in a child’s soul, helping girls and boys achieve success in the future.
What a joy it is to realize that in my profession two of the greatest miracles, in my opinion, are united - Children and Music

Essay by the musical director of a kindergarten “My profession is a musical gardener”
My profession is a musical gardener.
Listen... The wind is rustling, howling and carrying rustling leaves into the unknown distance... The ringing trill of a spring drop insistently asks you to stand still for a second, in joyful anticipation of the awakening of nature... The rain is trying to reach us, forcing our fingers to immediately pick up this whimsical rhythm of the expressionists... Here it is - the real music of life that surrounds us every day.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a performing musician, as well as a creator of something new, unknown, and I have never had any doubts about choosing a profession. I was very lucky in life: I met wonderful people who became my mentors, and most importantly, taught me to love and understand music. I was introduced into the wonderful world of music with its deep, multifaceted emotions, experiences, and feelings by the passionate teachers of the music school, music school and the University of Culture and Arts. And here I am – a certified specialist, for whom all paths for further self-affirmation are open. Where should you go to work to realize your creative and pedagogical potential? Queen Life itself shows directions, giving me a chance to try my hand at a secondary school, a music school, a studio for children and parents, kindergartens, enriching my activities with the opportunity to gain experience by working in different cities: Zherdevka, Moscow, Tambov and Voronezh. Being a piano teacher, accompanist, conductor and teacher in a number of special disciplines, I immediately felt like a real “gardener” who grows the flowers of the future. But the seer Fate from the very beginning puts me in a dilemma - to “grow” ready-made flowering bushes and be proud of them, or to grow seeds, putting part of my soul into them? This is how I become a music director, carefully developing hearing, musical memory, voice intonation, a sense of rhythm and much more in a flower garden called Kindergarten.
Little children are the most open creatures in the world. Being around them makes me feel like a truly happy person. I give my knowledge, my love to little creatures who, like flowers, absorb everything that surrounds them. How will they grow up? Will they be able to show initiative and talent in the process of entering society? Will kindness and purity remain in the soul of every child outside of kindergarten? Will they be able to figure out what is beautiful, good, and what is rude and bad? Will they become active, humane, responsive people in the future? This largely depends on me.
How can we teach children to understand music, feel its purpose, love it, enjoy it, and most importantly, be able to hear it in everything?
Every preschooler's musical experience is unique. The effectiveness of enriching this experience depends on the teacher’s knowledge of the child’s characteristics, from studying the uniqueness of the inner world, which allows one to assess the specifics of the child’s individual emotional reactions to the musical atmosphere surrounding him.
Each teacher is, first of all, an individual, and the chosen principles and approaches in working with children largely depend on his worldview. They allow me to achieve spiritual unity with children.
What is the best thing about communicating with children? Trying to keep up with the times, in a joint creative process, my educational musical activity is based on empathy, co-creation, since this is what the new educational paradigm and contextual learning are built on. In my views on this pedagogical problem, I adhere to the principle that “truth must be experienced, not taught” (Hesse, “The Glass Bead Game, or Steppenwolf”). Therefore, I believe that the use of heuristic and research methods in preschool music education leads to the development of children's intellectual independence and creativity.
Any adult knows that all children express themselves individually: some are more active, others less, there are children who are capable but shy. An individually differentiated approach allows me to find the “key” to everyone, and creating a situation of success supports the child’s faith in his abilities and strengths.
The main commandment of pedagogy is “Do no harm!” Like medical practice, it requires a very careful, respectful, attentive and patient attitude towards the child. Therefore, when organizing interaction with children in the process of musical activity, I pay special attention to creating a favorable psychological climate. Using the method of spiritual contact, based on the improvisation of the teacher’s activities through analysis, synthesis and combination of conscience and communication style, helps me create and maintain friendly connections between children and an emotionally comfortable environment.
The happiness of every worker is to see the fruits of his hard work. What is the happiness of the “gardener” who grows the flowers of the future? It comes when children, having gone through a variety of traditional, innovative gaming and pedagogical technologies and finding themselves among the noise of a rumbling city, themselves will be able to hear the rustling of the wind lost in the grass, the tapping rhythm of the foxtrot rain, and understand the beauty of the reality around them.

Essay, mini-composition by the music director of a kindergarten “My profession is a musical gardener”
Position: music director of the highest qualification category Place of work: MBOU gymnasium UVK No. 1 Location: Voronezh, Voronezh region
Music director! What an amazing profession! A good music director in a kindergarten means a friendly atmosphere, happy children; the joy of both children and adults from shared experiences at holidays, entertainment, non-traditional activities, from active interaction in theatrical games, folklore activities. It is impossible to work in a kindergarten without love for children. I love my preschoolers. I love their enthusiastic eyes, their cheerful laughter, open smiles, and genuine curiosity. I love the lively and modest, cheerful and serious, independent and insecure - all those who need my attention. Who said that being a music director is very easy? I sang, danced, played a musical instrument and that’s all, it doesn’t seem so difficult, but there are a lot of buts. To become a “continuator” of beauty in the world of music, you need to go through hard work. Master an instrument, learn to feel music with all your soul, express the feelings of works, their character and content by playing musical instruments, talk about music, and this is not the whole list of skills and knowledge. And since I am the music director at a preschool educational institution, this work is doubly difficult. Preschool children are very inquisitive little “people”; they demand everything new, interesting and emotional. At the same time, you need to become a child yourself and learn to express music in their “children’s musical language”, immerse yourself in their children’s world of experiences and understandings of everything around them. But you can learn a lot and very interesting things from these kids. I am a young specialist and I believe that being a successful music director is very difficult work. After all, you need to be not only a performer, but also a director, screenwriter, costume designer, and organizer. It is necessary to increase their level of professionalism, since children keep up with the times, they have a great opportunity to gain knowledge from various sources of information - this includes TV, computer technology, radio, books, communication with adults and peers, but computer technology has a great influence and as a music director, and music did not stop with Chopin and Bach and playing a musical instrument, it is necessary to use these opportunities so that children are imbued with a love for classical and modern music. I use various methods in the process of direct educational activities. This includes vocal therapy, dance therapy, health-saving technologies, logorhythmic and speech therapy exercises, musical and didactic games, drawing, and this is not the whole list of activities. And all this requires enormous preparation and the ability to pass everything on to children. Why am I a music director? Even though my work is very hard, there is a big plus in it, I have no time to count my years, I am like a battery that is charged by children with their laughter, energy, smiles and desire to learn everything. I am very pleased and happy when, before my eyes, a child opens up and becomes a little “artist”; he eagerly runs to my music classes and excitedly asks to play, dance or sing. Even if they do not become great artists and do not sing like nightingales, I am pleased to know that I introduced them to the world of the beautiful, living and emotional, because how much effort needs to be made to understand this “musical world”. After all, we are teachers, we educate the individual, imbuing the child with all the most beautiful things. I find confirmation of this in the wise words of V.A. Sukhomlinsky: “Musical education is not the education of a musician, but the education of a person.”
