DRAWING A SPRING LANDSCAPE

Spring is coming, omnipotent queen!
Streams gurgle, rivers break the ice, And a willow knocks on our window, And a flock of birds cuts the firmament. Spring drops are already ringing, And the air is full of the smell of spring, The evil snowstorms are now forgotten, And the hot rays of the sun are warming. Among the thawed patches and dry blades of grass, On the hill where we rode in winter, Among the stones, among the mud and ice floes. The snowdrop blossomed like a tear of winter.
Place the sheet of paper vertically. We begin the work by completing the hill line (horizon line). The horizon line extends significantly below the middle of the leaf. We won't need a pencil anymore.
Let's start making the sky. We make the sky with three colors - yellow-white, pale orange and pink.
We blur the boundaries between colors making the transitions smoother.
The top of the hill is painted pink.
We blur the pink border almost to the very edge of the sheet.
We draw the silhouette of a birch grove in the background, paint the top with lighter shades, and slightly darken the bottom.
Using white we draw the trunks of birch trees against the background of the grove.
We draw the birch trunks, draw dark spots on the trunks, densely at the bottom of the trunk and the higher the trunk, the fewer spots. Using a thin brush we draw the main branches of trees and bushes.
Add small white twigs; they look especially impressive against a dark background.
We outline light, white clouds in the sky, the color is not dense and translucent.
We outline the light and shadows on the clouds - yellow and pink.
We outline the nearby hills with large strokes. Blurring the contours of the hills along the lower edge.
We mark the thawed patches with brown, gray and purple colors.
We draw the trunks and main branches of the bushes in the middle ground.
Draw small branches with a darker color.
We draw willow trunks in the foreground.
We outline the main branches of the willow.
We draw small branches of the willow in the foreground, in a darker color than the trunk and main branches.
Using light cream strokes we draw the bark, outline the shadows on the trunks and branches with black. We draw dry blades of grass at the base of the bushes.
Using the very tip of the brush, using small dots, we draw the blossoming willow buds in orange.
Add yellow and white buds, as well as dry blades of grass on thawed patches.
Use dark green to paint the leaves and stems of the snowdrops.
We draw the corollas of snowdrops with white color.
We draw a solar disk, slightly darken the background around the sun, thereby further highlighting it.
