Relevance

The process of communication between a preschool child and a book is a process of developing his personality. A book should enter a child’s world as early as possible, enrich this world, make it interesting, full of extraordinary discoveries. A child should love a book and reach for it. Meeting children with fairy tale heroes will not leave them indifferent. The desire to help a hero in trouble, to understand a fairy-tale situation - all this stimulates the child’s mental activity and develops interest in the subject. As a result of empathy, the child acquires not only new knowledge, but also, most importantly, a new emotional attitude towards the environment: people, objects, phenomena. From fairy tales, children draw a lot of knowledge: their first ideas about time and space, about the connection between man and nature, the objective world.

Vladimir Grigorievich Suteev is a famous artist and writer, film director and screenwriter.

Our time is often called dry, callous and soulless. But the best beginnings are formed from the cradle. With the first book, with the first picture, with the first smile.

The tales that V.G. Suteev composed himself are written laconically. Yes, he doesn’t need verbosity: everything that is not said will be drawn. The artist works like a cartoonist, recording every movement of the character to create a coherent, logically clear action and a vivid, memorable image.

Has at least one child grown up without V. Suteev’s pictures? The sky there is blue, the grass is green, the chicken is yellow, the kittens are white, black, gray, and the characters with their behavior surprisingly resemble the baby himself and this inspires love and trust.

The artist wanted the child to grow up surrounded by jokes and fun, “then it will be easier to work.”

“The more smiles, the more benefits,” V.G. Suteev said to himself, composing another story. A combination of simple text and funny drawings can explain simple truths to children much more clearly than long notations.

The art of V.G. Suteev is addressed to the youngest readers and viewers. He is their wise and kind mentor, and it is easy and fun to walk through a fairy tale with him. The artist’s kind-heartedness and smile, the classical clarity of his drawings purposefully, calmly and simply lead the reader to the comprehension of justice, humanity, and moral purity. And it will always be relevant.

To increase interest in books and the love of reading, this project was developed, developing a sustainable interest in works as a work of art.
