Work program for extracurricular activities “The world around us. Why?" (2nd grade)

Explanatory note

Work program for extracurricular activities in the social direction “The world around us. Pochemuchka" for grade 2 was compiled in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standard of primary general education: order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of October 6, 2009 No. 373 "On approval and implementation of the federal state educational standard of primary general education" (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Russia dated 22 December 2009 N 15785).

Program goals:

— formation of a conscious attitude towards nearby natural objects (formation of an ecological culture);

- developing a belief in the necessity and possibility of solving environmental problems, confidence in the correctness of one’s views, and the desire for personal participation in practical matters to protect the environment.

Program objectives:

Educational:

- expand your understanding of the world around you;

— to develop experience of participation in environmental activities;

- create responsibility for your actions;

Educational:

- develop interest in nature, natural phenomena and forms of life, understanding the active role of man in nature;

Educational:

— to cultivate a caring attitude towards the environment, the need to rationally treat the phenomena of living and inanimate nature.

The program is based on the principles:

The principle of following a moral example. Following example is the leading method of moral education. An example - a teacher, an older adult - this is a possible model for building a child’s relationships with other people and with himself, an example of a value choice made by a significant other. The content of the educational process, extracurricular and extracurricular activities should be filled with examples of moral behavior.

The principle of identification (personification). Identification is a stable identification of oneself with a significant other, the desire to be like him. At primary school age, figurative and emotional perception of reality predominates, mechanisms of imitation, empathy, and the ability to identify are developed. At this age, an orientation towards personalized ideals is expressed - bright, emotionally attractive images of people (as well as natural phenomena, living and non-living creatures in the image of a person), inextricably linked with the situation in which they showed themselves. Personified ideals are effective means of moral education of a child.

The principle of dialogic communication. In the formation of value relationships, a major role is played by the dialogical communication of a primary school student with peers, parents (legal representatives), teachers and other significant adults. The presence of a significant other in the educational process makes it possible to organize it on a dialogical basis. The dialogue proceeds from the recognition and unconditional respect of the pupil’s right to freely choose and consciously assign the value that he believes to be true. Dialogue does not allow moral education to be reduced to moralizing and monologue preaching, but provides for its organization by means of free, equal intersubjective communication. The development by an individual of his own value system and the search for the meaning of life are impossible without the dialogic communication of a person with another person, a child with a significant adult.

The principle of system-activity organization of education. Education, aimed at the spiritual and moral development of students and supported by the entire structure of school life, includes the organization of educational, extracurricular, and socially significant activities for younger schoolchildren. Integration of the content of various types of activities of students within the framework of the program of their spiritual and moral development and education is carried out on the basis of educational ideals and values.

The content of the extracurricular activities program is related to such academic subjects as:

Russian language;

literary reading;

the world;

technology;

art.

General characteristics of the extracurricular activity program.

"The world around us. Why?" - an integrated course for junior schoolchildren, the content of which examines the variety of manifestations of forms, colors, interconnections of the natural world, the basic methods and ways of understanding it, developing the aesthetic perception and artistic-imaginative thinking of junior schoolchildren. Studying this course creates conditions for the formation of a value-based attitude of primary schoolchildren towards nature, instilling the fundamentals of environmental responsibility as an essential component of environmental culture.

The course program complements and expands the content of individual topics in the subject area “The World around us” due to interdisciplinary integration: knowledge of a natural science nature is enriched through the introduction of elements of knowledge from the mathematical and humanitarian-aesthetic cycles.

The object of study of the course is the natural and socio-natural environment of the primary school student. The main emphasis in the content of the course is on the development of observation skills in younger schoolchildren and the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships. The course content includes information about such methods of understanding nature as observation, measurement, and modeling.

The program includes excursions and practical classes.

The educational function is to develop in a primary school student the need to understand the world around him and his connections with it, environmentally sound needs, interests, norms and rules (primarily a humane attitude towards the natural environment, towards living beings). Training and education in the process of studying the course will contribute to the development of the emotional sphere of the primary school student, his ability to empathize and compassion.

The content of the “Pochemuchki” program involves the following types of activities: educational, gaming, labor, artistic, local history, value-oriented, through conversations, environmental games, environmental actions, excursions, correspondence travel and others.
