Municipal educational institution secondary school No. 9 of Serdobsk

Methodological development of a lesson in 4th grade on the topic: “Music of my people.”

Music teacher: Fedotova Lyudmila Vasilievna

G. Serdobsk, Penza region. 2015.

Lesson topic:

A musical journey to the village of "Garmoshka" to the samovar "Timoshka".

The purpose of the lesson:

Show the role of folk and composer music in human life. Bring the children to the conclusion that life not only gives birth to music, but also experiences its transformative influence.

Musical material:

P.I. Tchaikovsky. Symphony No. 4; R. Shchedrin “Mischievous ditties”; "Down the Mother Volga" Russian folk song; “Soldiers, Bravo Lads” Russian folk song; "Ditties", "Lullaby".

During the classes.

Children enter the classroom and sing the musical greeting "Good morning." W. - Hello, guys! I am very glad to see you in our lesson. In the morning, when you wake up, your mothers, fathers, grandmothers wish you good morning. Let us wish each other joy and goodness. W. - Sit down, children. How elegant and beautiful you are today! I can see from your faces that you are in a good mood today. Our lesson today is dedicated to composer's music and Russian folk music. We talked about different genres of folk music in previous lessons. Today an amazing letter arrived at school, I’ll read it to you now.

Hello, children, mischief-makers and naughty girls! I am the samovar Timoshka from the village of “Garmoshka”. I invite you to visit me and treat you to sweet tea. I'm waiting for you all in my hut, near the forest on the edge. So that you hurry up, so that you don’t get lost in the forest, I’m sending you a map, I made it myself.

W. - Guys, let's go visit the samovar? D. - Yes! U.- But, since our lesson is musical, the trip to the village of “Accordions” will be musical. The mice will go with us on the journey to the village, they will show us the way. (Performance of the song “The Mice Walked on Foot”) U. - Guys, is this a composer’s song or a folk song? How do you think ? U. – What is the nature of the song? (students’ answers) Let’s read in the letter what awaits us ahead: “... A river awaits you ahead, wide and deep, you swim along it, but don’t drown.” U.- What song do you know that mentions the word river? D. - “Down along Mother Volga” (song performance) U. - Is this song a composer’s or a folk song? (students’ answers) U. - Why did they determine that it is a Russian folk song? D. - Its distinctive feature is its melodiousness and drawl. U.- What does the song express? D. - Love for nature, the Motherland and the strength of spirit of the Russian people. U.- Guys, what genres of Russian folk songs did we get acquainted with? D. - Epics, historical, drawn-out, lyrical, labor, ditties, lullabies, soldiers, round dances, dances. ) U.-What genre would you classify the song “Down the Mother Volga”? D. – Lyrical, drawn-out. U. – Guys, why do we listen and perform Russian folk songs? D. – To know how our ancestors lived, what they thought, what they dreamed about, what worried them. To remember the historical past of Russia. U.- All questions were answered correctly, the task was completed and the journey continues. We read in the letter where to go next. We overcame the river - and forward boldly, on a hillock there was a village called “Veselushka”. The cheerful people in it sing Russian songs. And you start singing and go to the village. To make it easier for you to walk into this village, children, sing together the song “Soldiers”.

The guys sing and march the song “Soldiers, brave guys.” U.- Is this a folk song or a composer’s song? D. – Folk song. Genre: soldier. U. – In what mode does the song sound? D. - In major. (joyful, cheerful, energetic song) U. - What words seemed unusual to you, they don’t say that now? D. — Words are powerful, power. (teacher explanation)

They answered correctly, the journey continues. What awaits us ahead and where to go now? We will read about this in Timoshkin’s letter. “On the left, see? - mountain, you should go there. An evil wolf lives under the mountain. Go quietly, don’t wake the wolf.”

U.- Guys, what song should we sing to the wolf so that he doesn’t wake up? D. - Lullaby. U.- How will we perform it? D. - Quietly, kindly, gently. (song performance) U. - What word does lullaby come from? (A cradle is a device for rocking a baby). Well done! The wolf remained sleeping under the mountain, thanks to the performance of a lullaby. “We were able to get halfway, halfway quickly. Now we’ll rest and move forward again.”

U.- Guys, now the music will sound, listen carefully, then answer the following questions: - Composer’s or folk music? — What unusual did you hear in her? (The finale of Symphony No. 4 by P.I. Tchaikovsky sounds). D. - Composer's music, since this work is performed by a symphony orchestra. At the end of the work we hear the melody of the Russian folk song “There was a birch tree in the field.” W. - Well done! The music of P.I. sounded. Tchaikovsky, fragment of his symphony No. 4. The journey to the samovar continues, but we’ll read Timoshkin’s letter in which direction we’ll go. “There’s a bear on the right, he loves to sing. Sings loudly and doesn't let you pass. I’ll tell you a secret, I’m friends with this bear. You tell him a lot of ditties, he will make way for you!”

U.- Since the bear really loves ditties, we will sing them. What is a ditty? D. - A short song with humor. It is lively and cheerful, sung at a fast pace. U.- With which instrument is it better to sing ditties? D. - With an accordion, button accordion, balalaika. U.- And now for the bear we will perform ditties of our own composition. We sing cheerfully and lively, to the accompaniment of folk instruments. Well done! And now we will listen to the play “Mischievous Ditties” by Rodion Shchedrin. After listening, answer the questions: 1) How are “Naughty Ditties” similar and different from Russian folk ditties? 2) What instrument is the soloist in Shchedrin’s music? D. - There are no words in Shchedrin’s ditties; the music is performed by a symphony orchestra. Russian ditties always have words and sound to the accompaniment of folk instruments. In “Naughty Ditties” the soloist is a trumpet, brass instrument. The trumpet has a timbre reminiscent of a human voice. I see that you are all musicians, unique talents. Here's a musical game for you, kids.

“Recognize a musical instrument?” U.- Guys, you need to listen to music, recognize the musical instrument and talk about the nature of the music. 1. “Will I go, will I go out.” (balalaika, button accordion) 2. “The moon is shining” (harp, spoons, psaltery, birch bark, harmonica, button accordion) 3. “Thin rowan.” ( guitar)

Our journey continues, we must hurry. A letter will help us again. “And now - diagonally, through the path into the woods. Here, guys, this is my home, it’s good, it’s cozy in it.”

Hello, samovar Timosha! How warm is your home! How cozy! The tea is hot on the table! We have prepared a surprise for you. There are guys in our class who go to music school. And together with you we will listen to the performance of young musicians.

Conclusion.

Our journey has come to an end.
And before we part with the samovar Timosha, answer the last questions: - What genres of Russian folk songs do you know? — Why do we listen, teach, perform Russian folk songs? D. - Folk song is a mirror of the life of the people, with its sorrows and joys! Homework
for the next lesson is to create a crossword puzzle on the topic “Music of my people.”
