To the treasure chest of the 5th grade class teacher

A friendly class is the dream of any class teacher. If there is an established team in the class, it is much easier for teachers to work with them, and it is more pleasant and joyful for the children themselves to go to school, which means their studies become more productive. Therefore, in pedagogy, special communicative games for class unity that increase socialization are very often used.

During team building training, schoolchildren will be able to show their best sides, sometimes unexpectedly for themselves and for the whole group. In the future, the class teacher will probably be pleased to remind them of these qualities, unobtrusively developing them and strengthening the atmosphere of friendship and mutual assistance in the class.

A close-knit team is a multifaceted concept:

* this is an indicator of the psychological compatibility of the group; * this is the unity or proximity of the values of its participants; * this is a commonality of goals and motivation in business; * these are friendly relations, cooperation, mutual assistance, and therefore the attractiveness of the group for those who are part of it.

Factors that influence team cohesion depend on the individual characteristics of its members, personal beliefs, and level of development. Therefore, team building training for junior schoolchildren will differ quite significantly from the methods used at the middle level, and even more so at the senior level.

What could psychological training be like for team building?

Trainings for schoolchildren on team building may vary in methods and forms of delivery. Programs consisting of several classes or class hours following each other without large time intervals (no more than a week) usually provide good effectiveness. One-time trainings and game exercises help solve specific problems that have arisen or maintain good relationships and the overall psychological climate in the class. The most vivid impressions on schoolchildren are left by trainings conducted on-site: the unusualness of the situation, isolation from usual reference points, on the one hand, help to liberate, and on the other hand, they create a number of difficulties, causing reactions that teachers who are unaccustomed to such practice are not prepared for, and similarly unprepared children. Nevertheless, many people remember the autumn trips to nature in almost all educational institutions throughout the year, and for others throughout their lives. How to conduct training for 5th grade on unity

Children who have moved from primary to secondary school perceive such events especially emotionally. For fifth-graders, many things are now new: teachers, subjects, and routines, they change their usual life. Therefore, team building training for the 5th grade during the autumn outing will be an excellent start to “living together” for the class teacher and for the children themselves. It is important to correctly set goals and objectives, build a sequence of interesting exercises and games - and productive positive contact with children will definitely arise. The main goal of such training is to achieve good relationships between children. It is known that each group has an already established structure, its own “stars” and “crows”, “singers” and “loners”. It is important to give everyone the right to be who they are, and at the same time show that they can achieve more in a group. A huge number of exercises and tasks are focused on this, which can be used by both professional psychologists and people with any pedagogical education.

Considering that the new school year causes a certain amount of stress for elementary school graduates, unity training for grade 5 should be conducted by a well-trained facilitator. In the case where the teacher does not have training experience, it is better to turn to a professional. If a teacher (class teacher) works in tandem with a psychologist (even a student, but with experience in participating in trainings and conducting psychological exercises), this will certainly give positive results and will help in his future work with schoolchildren. But it’s even better if the teacher is on the same team with the children in order to equally share with them the difficulties that arise during exercises and games. He can prompt and guide (just don’t get carried away with this, you need to give children the right to apply their experience and try to implement their own decisions). Rope course as an effective training for a group of children

A good option for training to unite a team of schoolchildren is a ropes course. It is applicable for different ages - from primary schoolchildren to seniors; it is used both for students and for employees of serious companies - it all depends on the level of complexity of the exercises. It is important that team members during the training find solutions themselves and implement them. The unity of a team of children occurs while overcoming difficulties of various types: from the need to walk part of the path with their eyes closed (this is where the class teacher is ideal as a guide!) to “sports” obstacles such as the task of walking along a tight rope or jumping over a fence using a “bungee” .

An example of class unity training for a class hour

If you still don’t know how to unite a team, we bring to your attention the development of training that can be conducted by the class teacher, school psychologist during a class hour or an extracurricular event. It is necessary to consistently carry out the proposed games for class unity and analyze the actions performed.

The purpose of the training: to increase cohesion and self-esteem among children in the class.

Training plan

Greetings - Hello, dear guys. Today's lesson will be led by me. It will be a little unusual, but I promise you will really like it. And before we begin, let's all greet each other together. To do this, you need to pay for the first or second. Great! Now let’s all stand up together and move our chairs so that nothing interferes with us. Those in the first group stand behind me in one line, and the second group stands in the same line directly opposite us. The greeting will be as follows: each person in turn turns and shakes the hand of the person standing behind him in the column. Once both columns have finished doing this, greetings will need to be exchanged between the columns. To do this, we will all walk like a snake and shake hands.

Immersion - Now listen carefully and follow my commands. Those who are in a great mood right now need to raise their hands. And now for those who, on the contrary, are not in a very good mood. And in conclusion, let everyone who has comrades in the class raise their hand.

This task is considered completed successfully if all students have completed it. Speed of execution and quality do not matter. The main thing is that the task is completed by everyone.

- Now listen to one story. In a certain village there lived a family, the head of this family was already old. And before his death, he gave his sons a broom and asked them to break it. No matter how hard his sons tried to break him, none of them could cope with it. Then the elder cut the twine that tied the rods together and suggested breaking them separately. The sons coped with this without much effort. And then the head of the family gave his children the following order: when he is gone, they must always hold on to each other and always be together, then they will not be afraid of any troubles. And in this lesson we will try to understand how friendly your class is.

Line up - It won’t be difficult for you if I tell you that in a minute you need to line up in a row according to height. What if I tell you that in a minute you need to line up your hair color? At the beginning of the row should be the one with the lightest hair, and behind him in order are those with darker and darker hair. You have completed this task. Can you alphabetize the first letters of your names without saying a single word out loud? And we did it! Great!

Confusion - Now each of you should stand in a circle and raise your right hand up. With this hand you need to grab the hand of one of your classmates. The difficulty is that you cannot take the hand of people standing next to you. As soon as everyone has grabbed each other and there is not a single free right hand left, you need to do the same with your left hand. There was such a confusion. Now the task is to unravel from all these “chains”, and this must be done without releasing your hands.

Shoes - Now everyone needs to take off their shoes and leave their shoes around the room. Now we all stand in a circle again and hold each other’s hands tightly. The goal is for everyone to be able to put on their own shoes. You can't unclasp your hands.

When everyone manages to return their shoes, you need to ask the children how they liked the task, how they managed to complete it, and who helped them.

Scratch your back - Now everyone needs to form two circles: one larger - external, the other smaller - internal. Now everyone needs to turn to the right. It turned out that now everyone stands with their back to their comrade and sees the back of another comrade. The game involves scratching, massaging, pinching or stroking the back of the person standing in front of you.

Transformation - Now we will develop our imagination. I name an animal, a famous person or any object, and you must depict it. In this case, you need to show your imagination and show the character from different sides: movements, sounds, habits, etc. So, now we are turning into: a cow, a table, an owl, Alla Pugacheva, a crybaby, a teacher, a poet, a guitarist, a clown. Great, you did a great job! Real artists!

Glass We continue to train your acting and communication skills. Now you should break into pairs and stand opposite each other. Your task is to talk to a classmate standing opposite you about some topic. The difficulty is that you cannot utter a single word, everything must be depicted with gestures. Imagine there is soundproof glass between you. What a great fellow you are! And they completed this task.

Train - And now we will go with you on a train journey. I need 5 people to line up behind each other and grab the waist of the person in front with both hands. This is a train. The student standing in front of the column will be the driver, the rest will be the train cars. The kids outside the train scatter around the classroom and act as obstacles. Everyone except the driver closes their eyes. He must guide the train through all the obstacles along the way. As soon as he completes his lap, you need to change.

The game continues until everyone is on the train.

Generalization And now I will read a couple of lines to all of you, and you try to think about their meaning each for yourself.

*Never give up! Anyone who does this is doomed to failure in advance. *Never be afraid to lose! He who is afraid is doomed to failure. *Be diligent! This is the only way you will achieve your goals. *Before you do something, think, and this way you can avoid mistakes. *Never lie, and you will be surrounded by loyal and devoted friends. *Be honest with yourself, try to look at yourself from the outside more often, and you will be able to understand a lot, and others will begin to treat you with respect. *Always be yourself, don’t deviate from your chosen path. And then you will succeed.

I hope that everyone listened carefully to these words and drew conclusions for themselves.

Results - It's time to sum up. For the final task, we all need to stand in a circle again. I have a ball of thread in my hands. Now everyone will take turns sharing their impressions of this activity, after which, wrapping the thread around their finger, pass the ball on. Everyone has spoken, smart guys! And now you and I are part of one big whole. If I lower my hand down, then you will have to lower your hand down one after another, because we are all connected by this thread. We are a team. Before we start this circle, I ask you to tell me if you have ever wanted to thank someone just for spending time together? So today you can do it. Now I will pass the ball back so that we can unravel this circle in the same way, but now everyone who has the ball in their hands says their words of gratitude and passes the ball to the next one. So guys, thank you for such a wonderful day. I see that everyone has already unraveled. Now we can stretch our arms forward so that our fingers touch each other. And let's say to each other: “Goodbye!”

Game of wits

It is advisable to divide the participants into groups. All the first players from each team should be collected and shown in the picture what kind of sport they should show with their movements and facial expressions to their team.

And all this is done as follows:

  1. All groups line up one after another. The first player shows the second player the sport to the second.
  2. The second person does the same to the third. And so on until it’s the last one’s turn.
  3. The latter names the sport that was shown to him. Whoever guesses first is the winner.
