Apple for still life
Need to draw a bowl of fruit? Then be sure to read these instructions. We will draw using different shades, and move from the lightest to the darkest. Let's get started:
- Let's start with a simple sketch. Draw a circle. Its shape does not have to be even. Since the final version of the drawing will have leaves, move the future apple a little to the right.
- We immediately place the highlights. They will be located in the center and along the right side of the fruit. Add a bend at the top, from here a branch will appear. Now you can draw the stalk and mark the position of the leaf.
- Let's draw the remaining leaves. The leaf located at the top will be lighter than the lower ones. In addition, the lower leaves should be large.
Decorate their edges with cloves and draw veins. The sketch is ready. - Let's move on to coloring. Before using colored pencils, lightly erase the sketch lines and mark the surface on which the fruit is located.
- Use a yellow pencil to draw the contours of the fruit. Add a few strokes along the drawing. Don't forget that there should be a shadow; in our case it will be located on the right.
- We begin to apply orange strokes. Make the color darker in places where the leaves touch the fruit. Let's move on to red and green shades. We intensify the colors so that the pattern is not monochromatic and the fruit turns out ruddy. Shade the right side.
- Draw the surface of the table. Add shadows to the left and begin to paint over the leaves. We use several shades of green. Try not to rush when painting; you need to combine the shades correctly. For the shadow of the leaves that falls on the apple, use a light shade of brown, or you can add a darker tone.
- We paint the top leaf green, draw the lower leaves in more detail. Be sure to show its structure. If you need to make the area darker, add more strokes.
- Let's do the background. Here you also need to take into account where the light falls and where the shadow should be. We use a blue pencil and in some places you can add a little light green. We will add it to the entire surface of the leaves.
- Paint over the branch. For it we will use yellow, brown and light green colors. Try to make the tip dark.
Now you know how to draw a natural apple with pencils. You can use the skills you learn to create other paintings. For example, draw nature.

Two apples and a slice
This drawing can be drawn with one simple pencil.
The drawing process consists of the following steps:
- Make a sketch in the form of a circle (first apple), a semicircle adjacent to it on the right (second apple) and an oval (apple slice), which is located horizontally on top of two apples.
- Draw the outline of the first apple using a circle sketch. As a result, the contour should be flattened above and below relative to this circle.
- Draw a small horizontal semi-oval (indentation) at the top of the first apple, and from its center draw a vertical stem. Then, from the base of the cutting, draw a petal directed to the left over the upper left part of the apple. The petal size should correspond to 1/4 of this apple.
- Draw the outline of the second apple, which should correspond to the semicircle. Then, in the center of the outline, draw a small round depression from which the stalk should emerge, directed to the right side. The shape of the cutting, both the first and the second apple, should have an elongated cylindrical shape.
- Draw the outline of the lobule using an oval sketch. The lower part of the outline will follow the shape of an oval, while the upper part will be a straight, horizontal line (part of the oval is cut off).
- Draw an apple seed at the top of the apple slice, and the base of the cutting at the edge. Then you need to draw the inner contour of the lobule, parallel to its main contour and spaced a few millimeters from it.
- Erase auxiliary lines.
- Draw the outline of the veins inside the petal, and then do some shading along the outline of the two apples, leaving some room for highlights. When performing shading, you can use both vertical and horizontal semi-oval strokes, which should be applied in accordance with the contour of the apple.
- Apply several horizontal strokes to the surface of the apple slice.
- Apply a shadow under the apples using long horizontal pencil strokes and rub them a little along the edges with an eraser.

Prepare the necessary materials: a blue sheet of cardboard, gouache, brushes, a glass of water and a palette.
1. Mix white and red colors on the palette, adding a little brown. Draw a branch using smooth wavy movements. If it’s difficult for you to do this right away with paints, first you can draw a sketch of an apple tree branch with a white or yellow pencil.
2. Make the branch more expressive by highlighting it with dark brown color.
3. Now mix yellow paint with a drop of green. Using a thin brush, draw the cuttings of the apple tree.
4. Using the same color, but with a thicker brush, paint the leaves.
5. And now you have a happy opportunity to be a magician and turn an ordinary apple tree branch into a blooming one. Dip a medium-thick brush into white paint and leave five petal impressions. Place a bold yellow dot inside each flower.
6. Now imagine that a light breeze blew, and the petals of a blooming apple tree began to spin in a quick dance around the tree. Using a brush, make splashes of white paint on the drawing.
Look what a wonderful spring picture you and I have created!

Bitten off apple
Drawing such an apple is quite simple.
Creating a drawing consists of the following steps:
- Draw a circle, slightly tapering at the bottom.
- Along the contour of the circle, draw the outline of an apple, the upper part of which will be slightly concave.
- At the top of the apple, draw a recess in the form of a horizontal arc, concave downwards.
- From the center of the arc, draw a branch in the form of a long, curved, thin cylinder.
- Use an eraser to erase part of the apple outline on the right.
- Using angular lines, draw a semi-oval concave into the apple, which should connect the upper and lower parts of the apple outline on the right.
- To give the image three-dimensionality, draw another semi-oval, with the same angular lines, parallel to the first semi-oval.
- Add a few strokes to the resulting bite area.
- Add small horizontal strokes along the outline inside the apple.

How to draw an apple tree: a simple way
Arts and Entertainment November 30, 2016
You don’t have to be born a genius to create a beautiful picture with a simple pencil. It is enough to familiarize yourself with the technique of creating a drawing. Thanks to the step-by-step description, everyone will be able to understand how to draw an apple tree. And most importantly, you can teach your child this simple skill.
An easy way to learn how to draw an apple tree
In order to start creating, you will need two simple pencils, an eraser, paints and some free time. Drawing an apple tree step by step will not be difficult. Create a tree trunk. We need to depict a beautiful apple tree.
You need to work hard to create a powerful silhouette of the tree. First, one curved side of the trunk is drawn. Then we depict the second part. It is always necessary to remember that the trunk is the first and important stage in creating our drawing. Therefore, the way the apple tree will turn out will depend on how it is depicted. It is very important to use a pencil with a soft lead so that the lines are light.
Apple tree roots
When the “heart” of the tree is ready, we proceed to the roots. From the trunk there are wavy and smooth lines going down. Our roots belong to the old tree. They have grown deep into the ground. They became a good support for the plant. But over time, the roots grew and began to break out. And the drawing conveys this impulse.
Video on the topic
tree branches
Branches are drawn up from the trunk. First we depict large ones, like snakes. Then from each line there is a branch in different directions. And together they resemble the large antlers of an old deer. The more branches are drawn, the stronger and more powerful our apple tree seems.
Crown
In order to create a crown for an apple tree, you need to remember what the clouds look like in the sky. Introduced? Next we will transfer the memories about them to the branches of our tree. And to create the effect of leaves, the upper part of the crown is drawn wavy.
This simple method makes it possible to understand how to draw an apple tree with your child. The resulting masterpiece will be able to add to your child’s home collection of creativity.
Fruit
Already when a tree is drawn, every young artist will want to add ripe fruits to it. And the child involuntarily asks the question: “How to draw an apple tree with apples to decorate a picture?”
To begin with, small strokes are evenly applied throughout the crown. These will be the stalks. Juicy apples will be placed on them. Then, under each stroke, round fruits are depicted.
Final stage
When the drawing is completed, it should be decorated. But you need to approach this moment creatively. To begin with, all the lines of the trunk are carefully removed with an eraser, and only then watercolor is applied. This applies to every drawn part of the tree. First, the pencil is removed, and only then the paint is applied. On the sunny side of the painted tree, the paint will be a couple of tones lighter. The color evens out towards the center of the apple tree. If you paint in this way, you will get the impression that one side of the apple tree is warmed and caressed by the sun.
When a person depicts a picture in stages, it is much easier for him to understand and remember how to draw an apple tree. And the step-by-step instructions will become an indispensable assistant when creating your first masterpiece.
As a result, I would like to add: drawing is like mental therapy. It relieves stress and gives complete relaxation to a person. And for a child this is the best activity, since this skill teaches children to notice all the minor details.
Well, if a novice artist asks his parents about how to draw an apple tree, then this article will always come to the rescue and become a good hint. Experiment yourself and teach this truly wonderful skill to your children.

Open drawing lesson for the younger group of kindergarten on the topic “Vegetables for the winter.”
Stanko Elena Alekseevna - teacher.
My experience as a teacher is very limited. Perhaps there are more questions and difficulties in raising preschool children than successes. And yet there are finds that I am proud of. One of them is a drawing lesson, the development of which I present to you!
Goal: to arouse children’s interest in the work of adults in preparing vegetables and fruits for the winter.
Objectives: 1) learn to draw round objects (potatoes);
2) continue to develop the ability to draw round objects;
3) introduce the oval shape and teach how to convey it in a drawing.
Material: grayish-brown gouache paint, sheets of white paper with cut corners (in the shape of bags).
Progress of the lesson.
I. Game motivation.
Educator: “Well, Zup has caused trouble again! He left the entire hare family without vegetables for the winter. But hares mainly eat vegetables - what will they eat all long winter?!
And Zup just wanted to enjoy the cucumbers that the mother bunny had pickled in a huge jar. The little hare climbed into the pantry, in which there were large bags of potatoes, long bunches of onions hanging, and carrots stored in the sand. Zup was very afraid that he would be noticed: he understood that he would get a hard time from his mother if she found out about this. And when you do something forbidden and are afraid, everything will definitely turn out wrong. Wanting to get a cucumber, Zup tilted the jar and did not hold it. The can fell to the floor. It was very large, and brine flooded the entire floor. The potatoes in the bags got wet, the carrots got wet in the sand. To get out of the deep salty puddle, Zup grabbed a bunch of onions and pulled himself up, but the bunch broke and the onion also fell into the puddle.”
II. Setting game and educational tasks.
Help the bunnies - make potatoes for them and put them in bags so that when the bunnies come, everything is ready. Show the bags that the bunnies brought. It is necessary to prepare potatoes of different varieties - both round and oval.
III. Guiding the completion of the task and the subsequent game.
I give you several natural oval-shaped potatoes, I suggest you look at them and compare them.
When comparing potatoes, children must establish similarities and differences. It is important that each child traces the potatoes with their finger.
Then the children practice drawing an oval shape on paper with a dry brush. When I am sure that everyone correctly conveys the oval shape, I suggest “filling the bags with potatoes,” that is, starting to paint.
After the children finish drawing, I imitate a phone call from a bunny. After talking with her, he reports that the hare cannot understand where the bunnies went and why everything in the pantry is spilled and scattered.
Several children (in turns) explain to the bunny over the phone what happened to Zup. The hare asks to feed the bunnies, put them to bed, and then build new storerooms: separately for potatoes, separately for carrots and other vegetables - and deliver bags of potatoes by car to the forest. She does not allow bunnies to be transported in the same cars. She says that she will come for her children herself.
The hare asks her son (daughter) the name of his friend who “stored” potatoes for them, asks to show her a bag of vegetables and choose the best potatoes. Then she asks what his friend treated the bunny to, what they
built and how this building can be used.
At the end of the conversation, the hare thanks the child for taking care of her son or daughter.

How to draw an apple
Apples come in a variety of shapes, shades, and, of course, taste. An apple is easy to draw, so it is used as a model in the first drawing lessons. These tips will help you learn drawing techniques from the simplest image to the most realistic in color saturation.
Drawing the simplest apple
Let's start with a lesson on how to draw an apple with a simple pencil. This is the simplest way, the drawing corresponds to reality, after which it is easy to decorate.
There is a slight bulge in the place where the stalk should be. It can be depicted as an arc, and from there a leg is drawn.
Afterwards, you can correct the shape: draw a leaf on top of the stalk and below, where the color was.
When finished, all unnecessary lines and strokes are removed with an eraser, and veins are drawn on the leaf. The drawing is ready.
Drawing with chiaroscuro
In this version, a simple pencil is also the main tool; it is a little more difficult to depict in stages; you need to depict the shadow, roughness and bulges.
Let's draw a square.
Draw a circular sketch inside.
Small depressions and bulges at the top and bottom determine the outline of the stalk.
The main image of the fetus is outlined with ballpoint paste or with a thin felt-tip pen, after which the auxiliary lines are removed.
A leaf is drawn to the stalk, lines are added, conditionally dividing the drawing into three equal planes horizontally.
This is necessary for accurate shadow mapping. To clarify the leaf, you need to draw veins and make teeth along the edges.
Hatching will help create shadows. All that remains is to paint the finished piece using transparent paint so that the shadows are visible through it.
Step by step drawing of an apple in color
If you don’t know how to draw an apple in color, you need to pay attention to the following tips.
Any drawing begins with a sketch, consisting of several stages.
The simplest option
The circle is taken as a basis.
Slightly flattened lines are drawn at the bottom and top to give a characteristic shape.
Afterwards the stalk and leaf are drawn.
The finished drawing is filled with color.
Apple with simple chiaroscuro
This option will help you understand how to draw an apple with a falling shadow.
As a rule, it starts with a sketch. Next, indentations are drawn on the circle, and in the place where the apple and flower are attached to the branch due to the stalk.
The outline of the fruit is outlined with a ballpoint pen or a thin felt-tip pen.
We add small, slightly noticeable irregularities on the surface to give the fruit real characteristics. Alternatively, you can draw one or more drops of water.
Using hatching, shadows are applied to the right and below, while simultaneously marking the surface where the apple lies. You need to paint it directly under the fruit. Afterwards, all auxiliary lines are deleted using an eraser.
With a simple pencil
Apple is a drawing for children who are just starting to take their first steps in drawing.
For this drawing you will need a soft pencil, a piece of landscape paper and an eraser.
Drawing an apple with a pencil consists of the following steps:
- Draw a square measuring 8x8 cm, and then divide it into 4 parts with two perpendicular lines passing through the center of the square. Then draw the outline of the apple inside the square. The outline of the apple should be semi-oval and touch the square on the left and right sides at the points where perpendicular lines intersect the sides of the square. On the upper and lower sides of the square, the contour of the apple should touch at points located slightly to the left and to the right of the intersection point of the perpendicular line and these sides of the square.
- Draw a small horizontal arc (bulge down) at a distance of 0.5 cm from the top of the apple. Then draw a branch perpendicular to this arc, 2 cm long.
- Draw a leaf to the right side of the branch, starting from its middle. Then draw a line along the leaf in its center, and from it to the sides draw small veins in the form of small horizontal lines.
- Apply small strokes (0.5 cm) inside the apple along its outline. In the area of the base of the branch, it is necessary to apply strokes along the arc.
- Apply medium-sized horizontal strokes (1 cm), moving from the bottom of the apple to the top. When applying strokes, the density of their application should decrease when moving from bottom to top.
