Summary of an open lesson on physical education in the preparatory group

Goals and objectives of physical education classes in the preparatory group

The Federal State Educational Standard (FSES) defines the following goals for physical education lessons in kindergarten with children aged 6–7 years:

  • creating conditions for the harmonious operation of all systems and organs of the body (this mission is implemented not only in classes, but also during leisure sports events, that is, it is cross-cutting in nature);
  • expanding the range of movements in exercises aimed at training a particular muscle group;
  • mastering the basic principles of hardening in the context of becoming familiar with the principles of strengthening one’s own health (in kindergartens, where this type of health procedures is not practiced, preschoolers receive theoretical knowledge, for example, that the body’s protective functions are enhanced under the influence of temperature changes);
  • familiarity with the structure and capabilities of the human body (this aspect is studied in more detail in the preparatory group than in the senior group);
  • development of motor skills (practicing different types of running, jumping, throwing, etc. as part of increasing performance standards);
  • nurturing interest in sports and getting to know famous sports names.

Physical education classes discipline children, teaching them to work well in a team

The implementation of these goals is possible within the framework of systematic work to solve such educational problems as:

  • the desire to accurately, energetically perform all exercises in class (for example, quickly change lanes on your own without breaking the pace of movement);
  • expanding the range of options for performing familiar exercises (for example, running backwards, walking crosswise, etc.);
  • developing the ability to maintain balance while performing complex movements when moving from more active to less active and vice versa (for example, from running to long jumping, from skiing to downhill, etc.);
  • developing the skill of pulling yourself up on a support;
  • developing knowledge of the rules of sports games (football, basketball, etc.);
  • development of the skill of basic motor activity planning (for example, independent calculation of the strength of team members participating in a relay race for optimal distribution of team efforts);
  • training in the use of special instruments for measuring physical capabilities (for example, hand dynamometers - devices for measuring torque);
  • stimulate the skill of organizing games with peers and practicing movements in them (for example, knocking out towns from a semi-kon or kon, throwing a ball into a basketball hoop, etc.).

Physical education classes teach children to distribute not only their strength in activities, but also to rationalize the capabilities of the entire team

Types of physical education classes in the preparatory group

In the preparatory group, physical education classes are traditionally integrated in nature, since children have a sufficient set of skills to perform various types of exercises, and help to implement the tasks of different areas of education (social-communicative, cognitive, etc.). This means that the teacher can safely include any combination of them in a lesson, which can be held both indoors (2 times a week) and outdoors (once a week in good weather), and this, in turn, contributes to the implementation goals of integration of teaching and educational areas. In this case, the list of types of lessons will be almost similar to what the children worked on in the older group:

  • traditional based on general developmental tasks involving breathing exercises and tasks with a ball;
  • fitness or rhythmic gymnastics (classes are conducted by a specialist in this field);
  • choreographic, based on learning dance movements;
  • independent (usually organized on the street - the kids themselves determine a set of exercises and games, and then discuss it with the teacher);
  • plot-based, the structure of which is based on completing tasks on behalf of characters (such classes are usually conducted in the form of open ones);

    Children especially love story-based activities because of the colorful props and costumes.

  • games, built on the basis of one or more sports games (for example, with a ball, football or volleyball for girls and basketball for boys);
  • in the form of outdoor games (usually in such classes all games are subordinated to one storyline);
  • sports (swimming, skating, etc.).

This is interesting. If the kindergarten has such a practice, then physical education classes can be periodically organized in the form of training in the pool or on the skating rink.

1. Introductory part.

Determining the goal.

Hello children! We line up one by one.

Form into a column one at a time.

Stand in a column one by one. Stand up straight, backs straight. March on the spot.

Walking is normal.

In a detour following the guide through the hall, there is a march. The distance is one step. Let's go straight. We don't lower our heads. We raise our legs, but not high. Free hand position.

Walking on toes. We put our hands on our belts and walk on our toes. We look forward and don’t lower our heads.

Running is normal. Marching around the hall one after another. We run easily and don’t bump into each other. The arms are bent at the elbows.

Walking on your heels. Let's start walking. We walk on our heels, hands on our belts, shoulders down, back straight, looking forward.

Running right (left)

sideways in motion. Let's start running. We run with the right side in the direction of the movement, not quickly, lightly, without lowering our heads. We put our feet next to each other. Now on the left side.

Walking with high knees. Let's start walking. We walk with our knees high, keep our back straight, pull our toes down, keep our balance, keep our arms forward and don’t let them drop.

Running with the shin thrown back. Now let's start running. We throw our legs back. We run easily, hands on the belt.

Walking is normal. We switch to normal walking, walk calmly, free position of the arms, look forward, do not overtake each other, do not leave the column

2. Main part.

Showing the execution of ATS

A set of general developmental exercises without objects.

1. I. p. basic stance (heels together, toes apart, stick below 1-stick forward 2-stick up 3-stick forward 4-starting position.

2. I. p. stand with legs apart, stick on chest 1-lean forward, put stick on the floor 2-straighten up, hands on waist 3-lean forward, take stick 4-starting position (6 times)

3. I. p. basic stance (heels together, toes apart, stick below 1-2 - squat, stick up 3-4 - starting position (6-7 times)

4. I. p. basic stance 9 heels together, toes apart, stick in bent arms with a shoulder-width grip on the chest 1-3 sticks forward, springy squats with knees spread to the sides 4-starting position (7-8 times)

5. I. p. basic stance (heels together, toes apart, grab the stick with both hands. Rest the other end of the stick on the floor 1-2-squat. Spread your knees apart 3-4-starting position (7-8 times)

Forming into a column one at a time Follow the guide to walk around the hall at a step, free position of the hands, do not leave the column.

Walking is normal. We walk around the hall calmly. The distance is one step. We help ourselves with our hands. March through the center of the hall in a column of two steps. The guides are in place, stop once or twice. They opened their arms to outstretched arms.

Main types of movements

1. Balance exercise, walking on a narrow gymnastic bench. Hands to the sides, walking in front is simple, walking with the right side, left side, looking forward, not lowering the head. Having reached the end of the bench, we gently jump onto the toes of our half-bent legs.

2. Climbing under arches h-40, 50, 60 cm (children choose the method of crawling themselves)

3. Final part.

Summing up the GCD

Outdoor game “Hunters and Hares”

A hunter is chosen from among the players, the rest are hares. On one side of the hall (platform)

there is a place for the hunter, on the other - the house of the hares.
The hunter walks around the hall, pretending to look for tracks of hares, and then returns to his place. Hares jump out of the bushes and jump on two legs (or on the right and left alternately)
in different directions. At the signal:
“Hunter!”
- the hares run into the house, and the hunter throws a ball at them
(he has two or three balls in his hands)
. Those he hits are considered shot, and he takes them to his house.

After each hare hunt, the hunter changes, but not from among those caught. To play this game (to avoid injury)

It is better to use homemade balls sewn from pieces of fabric.

Walk normally with breathing exercises.

March around the hall at a walking pace. Free hand position. We walk calmly, do not leave the column, do not overtake those in front. Slowly raise and lower your arms.

Leaving the hall!

Methods for organizing physical education activities with children aged 6–7 years

Among the methodological ways of interacting with children in physical education lessons, the leading role remains with visualization. However, other techniques are also used in different combinations.

Group of visual techniques

Of particular importance in working on physical exercises and sports games is demonstration, when an adult demonstrates the procedure for performing a particular exercise, task, or game action. The display can be:

  • complete (when the teacher demonstrates the completion of the task from beginning to end), which is usually used when introducing the exercise and is necessarily accompanied by an explanation;
  • partial, used when repeating an exercise (an adult only recalls complex elements, for example, the movement of transition from one element on skates to another);
  • on behalf of the student (this type of demonstration is used only on well-known tasks).

Images

Such a popular technique in other types of activities in physical education classes plays a supporting role: usually illustrations are used to accompany the plot of the lesson, or rather, its design.

Attributes

This technique is of paramount importance when working on certain types of exercises. However, we are talking not only about factory equipment for mastering physical education skills - balls, jump ropes, skittles, etc., but also about non-standard props for playing games or exercises.

"Magic bag"

Students can be involved in decorating the bags

Materials:

  • 2 pieces of thick fabric for bags (approximately 10 x 15 cm);
  • threads, needle;
  • braid for decoration;
  • salt or sand for filler.

Instructions:

  1. We embroider one piece of fabric with braid.
  2. Sew the halves together, leaving one edge unsewn.
  3. Fill the bag.
  4. Sew up the free edge.

In my practice, I use this prop as a trainer for correct posture: children put bags on their heads and walk in a circle. In the context of the trend of spreading problems with spinal curvature, this exercise is very relevant.

"Bottle of Fireworks"

Making this fireworks bottle can be a homework assignment for kids and parents.

Materials:

  • plastic bottle;
  • cocktail straw;
  • confetti (from colored paper or foil).

Instructions:

  1. We make a hole in the lid according to the diameter of the tube.
  2. We pour confetti into the bottle.
  3. Screw on the lid by inserting the tube.

This simulator is an indispensable attribute of an exercise to develop the correct breathing technique: the baby inhales through his nose and exhales through his mouth, watching the colored fireworks inside the bottle.

Verbal techniques

There are several verbal ways of organizing children’s activities:

  • Explanation or instruction. For example, before starting to practice the exercise “Squats in pairs,” the teacher gives the following instructions: “We stretch our arms forward, hold hands in pairs and squat, then try to pull our partner, overcoming his resistance.”
  • Rhymes. Both riddles and poems continue to be an effective motivational device, for example, the discussion of the topic “Winter Fun” about winter sports can be illustrated with the following riddle: Two stripes in the snow Leave while running. I fly away from them like an arrow, and they come after me again. (Skis).
  • Fairy tales as a form of organizing activities (for example, “Travel to Sportland with Dunno” or “Luntik plays sports”, etc.);
  • Conversation. It does not last long, up to a minute, and is usually used at the beginning of the main stage to discuss the content of the poem or the plot of the video.
  • This is interesting. Reading as a method of describing tasks is used extremely rarely in the preparatory group, since exercises in which reading instructions could be relevant are familiar to the children. And strangers also require a detailed and often relatively long description of the order of execution, the presentation of which, in turn, will distract the children’s attention.

    The explanation in a physical education lesson is in the nature of an instruction.

    Games

    The predominant form of organizing work with preschoolers is play. In physical education classes it becomes especially relevant. Especially this type of gaming activity such as outdoor games.

    In addition, the game form can be presented in the form of a plot. For example, when children need to complete tasks from a block of general developmental exercises proposed by the character. With our students, as part of the theme “Fairy Tales Day,” we, on Malvina’s instructions, practiced throwing exercises, aiming at different targets, taking a certain starting position (a projectile in the left or right hand, throwing from behind or standing in front of the target, etc.).

    Didactic games, aimed primarily at expanding the scope of knowledge, are also used in physical education classes. Usually at the stage of fixing the material. For example, after getting acquainted with winter sports, the guys and I play Sportloto. Each child receives 1-2 cards with images of different sports, including winter ones. The teacher takes out a chip with an image of an attribute from the bag, shows it to the children, and they, in turn, determine what kind of sport they are talking about and cover the appropriate symbol. The one who closes all the symbols faster than the others wins. You can get acquainted with examples of interesting educational games on physical education topics in the publication of teacher Ivantsova O.V.

    Games in the preparatory group are usually competitive in nature

    Practical techniques

    Among creative ways to understand the essence of a lesson in a preparatory group, projects (individual or joint with parents) come to the fore. The task is determined by the teacher based on the topic of the segment of the educational process. After the tasks are outlined, the guys look for materials, select interesting and important things, and draw up a project. As for the latter, the presentation of the work can be in the form of a booklet, wall newspaper or even a video.

    This is interesting. In an era of widespread enthusiasm for launching YouTube channels, children are happy to get involved in creating videos on the topic. If necessary, involving moms and dads in this work. This trend is not ignored by methodologists, using the fashionable trend to organize competitions.

    Video: project “Get ready to exercise!” from a young participant in the “Sunny Bunny” competition

    How to personalize your work

    When working with children 6–7 years old, issues of individualization of work sometimes arise even more acutely than at a younger age. This is due to the fact that pupils of the preparatory group begin to apply comparative analysis skills in relation to themselves, drawing parallels with how their comrades perform certain exercises. This means that if the fat Kolya sees that the skinny Slava is a better runner than him, then given a certain type of character, Kolya will either completely refuse to complete this type of task, or will be so worried that sooner or later this will become noticeable to other children. Consequently, plump Kolya will have every chance of becoming the subject of ridicule. Therefore, the teacher, in addition to methodological aspects, also needs to take into account psychological ones. But in any case, the ways to individualize work with children will be identical to those used in the older group:

    • determination of tasks of varying complexity (for example, obese children can run the ten-meter dash not 3-4 times, but 2);
    • selecting the optimal speed for performing the exercise for a particular child (this is especially important for phlegmatic children);
    • creating conditions for achieving success (in other words, searching for something to do according to taste and opportunity - someone would be happy to play football, and someone would blow into the “Bottle of Fireworks” - for these opportunities, the teacher must leave 3-4 minutes of reserve for compiling lesson notes).

    One of the options to individualize the work could be to distribute the responsibilities of the children when passing the obstacle course.

    Work program for physical education in the preparatory group

    The organization of the educational process in a specific area is carried out in accordance with the regulatory document - the work program. It describes techniques for content components:

    • direct educational activities;
    • educational activities during regime moments;
    • independent activities of children;
    • joint activities with parents of pupils.

    Conducting a physical education lesson in a preparatory group

    The duration of a physical education lesson with children 6–7 years old, like any other, is 30–35 minutes.

    Lesson time plan

    In the preparatory group, according to the Federal State Educational Standard, the time of a physical education lesson is distributed between four stages:

    • motivating introduction - up to 6 minutes, built from tasks for the formation of correct posture;
    • the main part - up to 15 minutes, including tasks on orientation in space and maintaining balance;
    • consolidation stage - up to 9 minutes, during which children automate the skills they are developing;
    • completion stage - up to 5 minutes.

    This is interesting. In the preparatory group, unlike others, the consolidation stage is more pronounced, therefore, as a rule, it is not combined with the main one.

    For the lesson to be successful, any task must be clearly timed

    Organization of open physical education classes for children aged 6–7 years

    The structure of an open lesson as a whole does not differ from the composition of a regular one. In the demonstration lesson, all levels of elaboration of the topic are compositionally completed, there is a consolidation stage, as well as reflection at the end. Content-open lessons are distinguished by a mandatory plot, into which all the tasks suggested by the topic fit. In order for the demonstration lesson to be successful, the teacher should:

    • be sure to take care of a “stock” of tasks for the consolidation stage (the open lesson includes exercises and games that are well known to the children, so children can cope with them faster than the notes suggest);
    • work through the structure of the lesson with the children once or twice in advance, but do not reveal the essence of the tasks (children will be more successful in getting involved in the work if they know about the types of exercises);
    • the arrival of guests should not be a surprise for the students (the teacher prepares the children for an open lesson as something unusual and festive).

    An open lesson should be perceived by children as a holiday, with costumes and surprises
