Purpose of the game: Prevention of smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction among high school students by expanding the information field about these substances and the consequences they have on the human body. Objectives of the game: 1. To form an active negative attitude of high school students towards smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction; 2. Deepen the knowledge of high school students about smoking, alcohol, drugs and addiction; 3. Reveal the negative consequences of using nicotine, alcohol and drugs; 4. To form a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle among high school students; 5. Develop individual and team work skills. To conduct a lesson - game, the following equipment is required: a computer, a multimedia installation, a disk, cards, tokens with points. Progress of the game: • Organizational moment – 3 min. • Explanation of the rules of the game – 2 min. • Blitz tournament – 3 min. • 1 round. Bad habits – 10 min. • Round 2. Harm or benefit – 10 min. • Round 3. Myths, definitions, laws, pictures – 5 min. • Round 4. Your choice – 5 min. • Summing up - 2 min. According to the above course of the game “For a Healthy Lifestyle”, you can see that it is divided into two main stages - the qualifying round of the “Blitz Tournament” and the main game. The whole class participates in the Blitz Tournament. At this stage, you are asked to answer 20 questions and score the most points to participate in the main game. Each correct answer in the Blitz Tournament is worth 5 points. Thus, the student who answers the question correctly receives a token with 5 points. The teacher, using a computer, a multimedia installation and a screen, asks questions to the class that appear on the screen and counts the correct answers. The second stage of the game “For a Healthy Lifestyle” involves the active participation of three students - the “players” who scored the most points in the qualifying stage - the “Blitz Tournament”. The rest of the students also participate in the main game, when the “players” do not answer the question, the answer goes to the class and both the “players” and the whole class participate in the final round of the game, earning points for themselves. When summing up, students who scored 500-1000 points receive an excellent grade, and from 100-500 - a good grade. Thus, the whole class is assessed for their active participation in the lesson - the game. The second stage of the game “For a Healthy Lifestyle” involves several rounds, the first of which is “Bad Habits”. This round involves general material, including such current problems as: Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs. This round includes the following questions, each with a varying number of points in ascending categories from 10 to 500. Players take turns selecting points, and a hyperlink opens a question, answering which they either earn points or lose them if answered incorrectly. I would like to note that the questions in the game are structured in such a way that students and the teacher not only test knowledge in this area, but also contain new interesting information on this topic, helping students gain previously unknown visual and figurative knowledge. And even if students make a mistake in their answer, they will still receive the necessary knowledge in this area, which is what is required to achieve the goal and objectives of the game “For a Healthy Lifestyle.”
