Class hour “Correct posture is the key to health”

So what to do?

Build muscle corset.

Good posture is unthinkable without evenly developed muscles. A muscle corset will save even those who inherited weak connective tissue from their parents - harbingers of flat feet, myopia, stoop... How to do it? Spend at least an hour every day on the move. Purposefully engage in physical exercise three times a week.

Do not make a bed that is too soft.

The mattress should be smooth, hard (hair or grass), the pillow should be small and low. The bed is of such length that your legs can be stretched out freely. And children who already have a curvature of the spine will have to purchase an orthopedic mattress. During that considerable part of the day that is spent sleeping, the spine should feel comfortable.

Make sure that your child does not develop flat feet.

A flat foot disrupts the correct supporting function of the legs, the pelvic axis tilts - and posture is disrupted. Flat feet detected in time can be corrected. Contact an orthopedist, do not start this problem.

Article on the topic

Erectus. Why do we need good posture?

Pay special attention to your posture when writing, reading, or any work at a desk.

The child should sit so that his legs, back, and arms have support. The height of the table should be 2–3 cm above the elbow of your child’s lowered arm when he is sitting. The height of the chair should not exceed the height of the shin. If your feet do not reach the floor, you need to place a bench so that the hip and knee joints are bent at a right angle. The back should touch the back of the chair closely, maintaining the lumbar curve. To ensure that the distance from the book to the eyes does not exceed 40 cm, it is better to place the book on a music stand, then you will not have to tilt your head. Incorrect posture when working at a desk greatly spoils your posture!

Constantly monitor how the child sits and stands, correct him if he is slouched or lopsided.

Let him stand against the wall, touch it with his heels, calves, buttocks, shoulder blades and head. The spine is straight, the shoulders are turned, the shoulder blades are brought together, the stomach is pulled in, the buttocks are tense. Here it is, the correct pose! The body must remember it. Of course, it’s easier to let go of your muscles limply than to sit or walk upright, but that’s why we, adults, are there to watch your back at first. And then holding straight will become a habit for the child.

Correct posture is not only a sign of health, but also the basis of the musculoskeletal system. During the development of a child's body, posture is subject to changes. Skeletal development and motor activity can influence the nature of changes in the spine. It is necessary to form correct posture in children from an early age. Bad habits (a hunched back, incorrect posture at the table, eating on the couch in front of the TV, doing homework while lying on the bed), as well as some diseases lead to poor posture. Parents are faced with a diagnosis of “impaired posture” when they undergo a medical examination at school. In this case, parents begin to sound the alarm that they have missed some points in instilling correct posture in their children.

Posture begins to develop when a child begins to grow. Parents may not pay attention to the changes that occur in the body with growth. Yes, they are not visible at all. A child's growth spurt is already very noticeable during adolescence. During this period, you should take a close look at the child’s health. If there are violations, they can be corrected during adolescence. Due to an incorrect lifestyle, posture is impaired, resulting in a stooped and round back.

Slouching occurs due to incorrect posture when working at a desk. A hunched back may not cause discomfort, but over time, back and neck pain will begin. Later, problems arise with the functioning of the respiratory organs and cardiovascular system.

Prevention of scoliosis in children or tips on how to maintain correct posture for a child

To avoid problems with the spine, the child should be seated correctly at the table. Try to keep him in the correct position.

If, when examining the back, the thoracic part of the spine is convex, then the child clearly has a round back. At the same time, the height of the shoulders is at different levels, there is a tilt of the head to the side, and protrusion of the shoulder blades from behind. To avoid problems with spinal deformation, it is necessary to form correct posture in children. To do this, you need to train your back muscles. Outdoor games strengthen muscles, improve health and help prevent various diseases of the spine. Physical education classes, as well as special rules, will help avoid spinal curvature:

  • First, the child should sleep on a hard mattress.
  • Secondly, you need to alternate physical activity with sedentary activities.
  • Third, watch how your child sits at a table or lifts heavy objects.
  • It is important that he does not hunch or slouch. Teach your child to take the correct position when walking, standing and sitting.

To develop correct posture in children, it is advisable to purchase special sports equipment: a ball, a gymnastic stick, a rolling pin and a hoop. Sports activities are held in kindergarten, but this is not enough to maintain beautiful and correct posture. You need to do some light physical activity at home. This is good for health and the child will be happy to study with you.

Exercises for posture with severe curvature

Special gymnastics is prescribed if the child has scoliosis or kyphosis. Only an orthopedist knows how to diagnose scoliosis, so you should not self-medicate.

The following complex is used for its intended purpose:

  1. You need to sit against the wall, leaning your back against the surface. The arms are spread to the sides and raised to shoulder level. Then they slowly lower down. The muscles should be tense.
  2. Starting position, as in the previous case. At the wall, your posture straightens out. Then you need to move away, but do not change the position of your back. You need to monitor your posture in the mirror.
  3. You also need to position yourself against the walls, and then slowly sit down and stand up.

Good posture is the key to good blood supply, normal lung function and a positive attitude. Therefore, children need to be taught from childhood to keep their back in shape.

A simple workout will help you achieve tremendous success. That's all for today. See you again, dear guests!

  • the choice of thematic drawings in kindergarten most often falls on illustrations of fairy tales, images of animals or picturesque landscapes;
  • It’s worth decorating one or a maximum of 2 walls; an excess of drawings can lead to rapid emotional exhaustion;
  • if the walls themselves are bright, then the drawings can be made more neutral;
  • if this is a games room, then you can leave the drawings bright;
  • in the sleeping area it is better to make drawings in calm and soothing tones;
  • the beige color scheme is neutral and calming; this color can be used in a child’s bedroom, but it is better to stick to a more delicate shade;
  • Light blue color is also suitable there, it is calming and relaxing;
  • To expand the space, you can make a transition of the picture from the wall to the ceiling, or draw the sky on the ceiling.

A preschool is a place where children spend most of their active time, and the atmosphere in a kindergarten should be warm, positive and a bit of a fairy tale.

It’s great to place bright drawings with cartoons and animals in the playroom, which children will look at with curiosity and interest. There is no need to make evil characters or ones that might scare children; it is better to stick to cute cats and dogs. For the little ones in groups there can be simpler drawings with an abundance of delicate and beautiful shades.

An original solution would be to include doors in the drawing itself, but you need to draw in such a way that children understand how to get out of the room, for example, as in the presented drawing a door is drawn on a real door.

You can also make a more complete painting in a preschool educational institution, using it also on the ceiling, radiators, so that the design is more organic.

If the kindergarten has a living corner and an aquarium, you can beautifully decorate it with a wall painting and make the underwater world closer to the children. The same goes for houses with hamsters, guinea pigs or parrots.

If the kindergarten has a lot of certificates or an information stand for parents, it can also be beautifully decorated, made in the form of a tree with leaves. This elegant design is also suitable for a children's center. You can place marvelous birds and characters on the branches.

You can also decorate wooden cribs and children's lockers.

Wall painting in kindergartens is carried out only using water-based emulsion paints with high hiding power, ideally based on washable and artistic paints.

For wall painting we use:

  • Washable acrylic paint in different colors from the segment slightly above average.
  • They can be tinted in any color from 1 liter.
  • Covering film.
  • Masking tape.
  • Rulers, pencils, erasers.
  • Synthetic brushes of different sizes, flat and round.
  • Rollers and pallets.
  • Matte varnish to protect the image.
  • Ladder.

Drying occurs within 24 hours, the paints are odorless. Children are allowed indoors. There are a number of refusal letters and certificates from manufacturers stating that these are fireproof and hypoallergenic materials.

The following points are clarified in advance:

  • coordination of the drawing and footage for painting,
  • creating a preliminary design for wall painting, if there is none,
  • preparing the walls before painting, if necessary,
  • direct application itself
  • applying protective varnish

The main component of working in a kindergarten is the use of only certified materials: paints, primers, varnishes.

In their work, artists use only environmentally friendly and harmless substances, namely water-dispersed paints and varnishes, which can be used in children's and medical institutions.

Working with the customer for the design of a kindergarten, designers offer options for developing a further scenario, these are:

  • the ability to make an independent sketch selection;
  • development of an artistic sketch design, taking into account the wishes of educators who conduct educational games and training with children.

Then, when the sketch is ready, the customer has it, or a new one has been agreed upon, the artists begin drawing on the walls in stages:

  • surface preparation for painting;
  • plaster, putty (usually performed by a construction team from a preschool educational institution);
  • primer (we can take care of it);
  • painting the wall in 2 layers in the base color with interior paints;
  • marking on the walls with pencils or paints, agreeing with the customer on the main points at different stages;
  • applying primary colors to the image;
  • elaboration of details of the middle ground;
  • finalization of specific points;
  • drawing outlines and inscriptions;
  • Finally, varnishing.

The price of artistic design work in a preschool educational institution is influenced by several factors:

  • footage, for large footage we have discounts and promotions;
  • height up to 3 meters or higher;
  • Is it necessary to paint the ceiling? Ceiling work adds +25% to the price due to increased complexity;
  • whether scaffolding or stepladders are needed;
  • limited or limited duration;
  • complexity of the drawing;
  • availability of a sketch from the customer or approval of a new one;
  • distance from St. Petersburg.

Over the past ten years, there have been huge changes in the field of modern equipment for institutions for children.

Dramatic changes in the interior of a modern kindergarten require great love so that the surrounding space has a beneficial effect on the development and formation of the child’s character. An important thing in a preschool institution is the interior and its design, thanks to which children enjoy visiting the institution.

Even parents look at the design solution in the interior, because everyone wants their child to spend time in a well-equipped building. Therefore, many kindergarten directors order wall painting for better perception and development of the child.

In order to choose the right artist, you need to pay attention to:

By contacting our workshop, you can view an impressive portfolio of completed work and be convinced of the competence of the craftsmen.

Artistic painting specialists are proficient in various techniques and work in any genre of fine art. Painting, graphics, decorative and applied arts - in this they have no equal.

In addition to drawings on the walls, you can work with decorative plaster and plaster, creating installations of three-dimensional silhouettes of fairy-tale characters, convex shapes and frescoes. Only talented specialists can revive and bring positivity to a preschool institution.

If the walls in the room are dull, bringing life and joy into them will not be difficult for a person with artistic talent. We all remember our youth and know perfectly well what is needed for children of different ages. When painting on the walls, the perception of drawings from the smallest to the age category of preschoolers is taken into account.

Artists will draw educational stories using:

  • beautiful letters;
  • interesting numbers;
  • color ratios;
  • various animals and insects;
  • flowers and plants, for a better study of the surrounding world.

For kids whom teachers are trying to teach something, the process will be exciting and interesting, thanks to thematic wall paintings made by the hands of talented craftsmen with a soul and great love for children.

LET'S MONITOR THE CHILD'S POSTURE The presentation was prepared using methodological materials by primary school teacher L.V. Tsapko. School No. 3, Sevastopol

Posture is the position of the body in space that a person takes without thinking, that is, unconsciously, while holding his shoulders and head at ease. The etymology of the term “posture” is associated with the word “axis”. The axis and support of the body is the ingenious design of the spine. A healthy spine ensures mobility and stability of the body, protects the spinal cord, and softens the loads that arise when a person moves.

Natural shock absorbers are the physiological curves of the spine in the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral regions.

At the same time, curves of the spine that are convex forward are called lordosis, and those that convex backward are called kyphosis. If you imagine the shape of a normal spine, it looks like a wave. If the load on the spine increases, the height of the wave increases, thereby reliably protecting the brain from concussion.

A person with good posture always looks slender, neat and commands the respect of others. His shoulders are laid back, his chest is raised, his back is straight, his head is held straight. The owner of correct posture always seems taller. His gait is light and elastic.

If posture is poor, a person constantly hunches over and pulls his head into his shoulders. In this case, the stomach protrudes and the back is curved. An illusion of short stature and clumsiness, and some embarrassment is created.

Correct posture is not only a beautiful figure and appearance of a person. Good posture is, first of all, HEALTH! Freedom and beauty of movements, ability to work, endurance. On the contrary, a person who does not pay attention to posture gets sick more often, suffers from back pain when walking, and sometimes does not find a comfortable position for sleeping. Slouching leads to poor circulation, compression and displacement of internal organs. Such changes cause not only discomfort, but also serious diseases such as scoliosis and flat feet.

How to check your posture? Using a measuring tape, measure the distance between the extreme points of the shoulders, first from the chest, and then from the back. If the results are approximately the same, everything is in order, if the second number is much greater than the first, there is a stoop.

Checking for spinal curvature Stand with your back to the wall, press your heels, buttocks and shoulder blades firmly against the wall. In this position, your palm should pass between the wall and the lower back. If a fist passes through, your posture is poor.

Poor posture Some children experience poor posture. This is called scoliosis. This means that the spine is deformed. It usually begins at 8–10 years of age. Treatment takes a long time, sometimes even in the hospital.

Let the child walk around the room with a notebook or small book on his head. The moment his posture is incorrect, the notebook will fall.

The condition of the musculoskeletal system largely depends on genetic predisposition, although in most people the changes are acquired. The newborn's spine looks like a uniform arch. Then, as the child grows, natural curves appear. In a preschool child, the shoulder blades protrude slightly back, the stomach protrudes slightly forward, and you can already see the lumbar curve. In a schoolchild, the shoulder blades are pressed to the back, the stomach is “tucked”, and the physiological curves are better demonstrated. In teenagers 14-15 years old, posture is almost formed. But attention to it cannot be reduced until the age of 18, while the body is in the process of growth.

Typically, poor posture occurs during periods of active growth of the child’s body, which occurs at 5-8 years and at 11-12 years. During this period, bones and muscles grow, and the mechanisms for maintaining posture have not yet adapted to the changes that have occurred. Most often, such deviations occur in 7-8 year olds.

The most common postural disorder is scoliosis, in which the spine curves to the right or left. And oddly enough, schoolchildren need more attention, unlike preschoolers. The vigilance of parents of children of this age is no longer so high, this is quite understandable: the children have grown up, are more independent, get sick less, and go to the doctor less often.

It is precisely during this age period, when growth spurts occur and the spinal column becomes most vulnerable, that the so-called “school scoliosis” easily forms.

The entire body suffers from poor posture; not only does the appearance deteriorate, but the health of the internal organs is also at risk. Being in an unnatural position, the heart, lungs, bronchi, liver, stomach and other abdominal organs cannot function normally.

It is important to remember that correct posture can be formed only when the spine grows!

It is advisable for parents to monitor the state of their child’s posture in order to notice deviations in time. It is necessary to monitor the position of the child's back. Shoulders and shoulder blades should be at the same level. You should pay attention to the location of the spinal column - whether it is curved to the right or to the left.

It is also important what the child sleeps on. It is necessary to choose a bed with a hard mattress and a small pillow. It is best to buy an orthopedic kit and teach your child to sleep in a position on his back or stomach.

The issue of nutrition cannot be ignored. The child’s diet must contain products containing calcium for the formation of the skeleton: cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream. If the child does not particularly like dairy products, it is necessary to take vitamin complexes containing calcium.

A visit to an orthopedic doctor for a preventive examination at least once every 6 months. In addition to scoliosis, an orthopedist can determine various postural disorders in a child: stoop, round back, round-concave back, flat back, flat-concave back.

In addition, parents need to provide their son or daughter with comfortable, appropriately sized clothes and shoes; the child should not walk hunched over in baggy overalls that were bought out of proportion or shuffle around in boots 2-3 sizes too large.

Watch your child's gait. You should not walk widely and swing your arms wildly, point your toes to the sides, “shuffle” your heels, hunch over and sway. Such walking increases muscle tension and causes rapid fatigue.

The child must have his own furniture appropriate to his height (chair, table, bed). When the child is sitting at the table, the feet should completely touch the floor, the legs should be bent at the knees at a right angle, and both hands should rest on the table when writing. You can lean back in your chair, but you cannot lean low over the table.

Without adequate physical activity, the muscle corset remains weak, and it is difficult for untrained muscles and ligaments to maintain the correct posture and stabilize good posture. Therefore, classes in sports sections are recommended for literally every child. Dancing and swimming classes are especially useful for strengthening the musculoskeletal system. Swimming serves not only as a preventative measure, but also as a means of correcting poor posture. During swimming, the spine is unloaded, its muscles and the entire skeleton are strengthened, and correct posture is developed.

Dear parents! It is necessary to teach a child to correct posture from childhood. Not only health, but also a beautiful appearance, on which self-esteem, self-confidence and emotional mood largely depend, depends on the skill of correct posture instilled in childhood. If you don’t take special care of this, neither a beautiful face nor fashionable clothes can save a person.

Correct posture is not given to a person from birth, but is acquired by him. A slender person has a correctly formed skeleton; with correct posture, it is easier for the heart and other important organs to work. With correct posture, a person’s shoulders are at the same level and slightly turned, the stomach is tucked, the legs are straight, and the gait is easy. Posture is the way you hold your body that has become a strict habit. If you teach yourself to stand up straight from childhood, then even at an older age you will not suffer from back and lower back pain.

Sets of exercises for children and teenagers

A set of exercises for posture cannot be performed on a full stomach. Movements should begin with 4-7 repetitions. Then the number can be increased to 15. You can use up to 5 approaches.

Here are simple exercises to strengthen your back muscles:

  1. Airplane. The arms are spread out to the sides at shoulder level. Then you can fly and bend your body.
  2. Mill. Quick circles are made with one hand and then with the other.
  3. Woodcutter. Swing your arms and lean forward.
  4. Fish. The arms and legs rise on the stomach.
  5. Martin. While standing, take your leg back, straighten your arms to the sides and stay in this position for a minute.
  6. Bike. The exercise is done on the back. Riding a bicycle is simulated. It helps not only correct your posture, but also train your abdominal muscles.
  7. Bend forward with a gymnastic stick behind your back.

Exercises such as push-ups and planks are also useful. You should start doing push-ups from your knees, and then make the movement more difficult. It must be remembered that exercise begins with warm-up. This can be as simple as walking, swinging your arms and legs, or rotating your limbs. Then the main complex is performed. Finally, don't forget to relax and stretch. Some rules must also be followed. You should exercise regularly. At least three times a week. If your back muscles begin to feel tired, you need to stop.

Remember also about breathing technique. You cannot hold your breath. As you exhale, all elements are performed with effort. Movements should be smooth and careful.

You can't make jerks. The complexity of the movements should increase gradually. Classes should be carried out when you are feeling well. It is not recommended to study late in the evening.

A visit to an orthopedic doctor for a preventive examination at least once every 6 months. In addition to scoliosis, an orthopedist can determine various postural disorders in a child: stoop, round back, round-concave back, flat back, flat-concave back.

Slide 23

In addition, parents need to provide their son or daughter with comfortable, appropriately sized clothes and shoes; the child should not walk hunched over in baggy overalls that were bought out of proportion or shuffle around in boots 2-3 sizes too large.

Slide 24

Watch your child's gait. You should not walk widely and swing your arms wildly, point your toes to the sides, “shuffle” your heels, hunch over and sway. Such walking increases muscle tension and causes rapid fatigue.

Slide 25

I. Conversation on the topic.

- Do you think it’s nice to look at a slim person?

- Of course, it’s nice. Slender people are pleasing to the eye. But it’s not just about beauty; a slender person has a properly formed skeleton. With correct posture, it is easier for the heart and other important organs to work.

— Correct posture is not given to a person from birth, but is acquired by him. It is produced in childhood and adolescence, and after eighteen years it is very difficult to correct its deficiencies, because in childhood the cartilage tissue in the vertebrae has not yet been replaced by bone. That’s why adults tell you all the time: “Don’t hunch your back. Sit up straight!” Incorrect posture makes your back crooked and unsightly. If you learn to stand up straight in childhood, then even at an older age you will not suffer from lower back pain.

II. This is interesting!

Scientists made observations. It turned out that if a person is short, but stands straight, he appears taller. But tall, but stooped - shorter.

- Walk around the room with a notebook or small book on your head. The moment your posture is incorrect, the notebook will fall.

III. Wellness moment. "Walking on Pebbles." (Everyone has their own bag.)

IV. Posture disorders.

— Some children experience poor posture. This is called scoliosis. (Figure.) This means that the spine is deformed. It usually begins at 8-10 years of age. Treatment takes a long time, sometimes even in the hospital.

Allows you to maintain posture by the spine - the main core of the body. It runs down the middle of the back. This is a flexible trunk made up of 33 vertebral bones (you can show a picture). The ribs are attached to the spine. They can be counted. Try this.

- How many ribs did you count? (12 pairs)

-What work do the ribs do? (Protect internal organs from damage.)

V. Posture - slender back.

— Do you think a child can form correct posture on his own or, conversely, deform it?

— Why is the spine curved in children?

- Therefore, it is best to learn to monitor your posture and prevent any deviations.

I will save my health, I will help myself!

VI. Rules for maintaining correct posture.

— What should you do to have good posture?

• Perform exercises to strengthen the muscles of the trunk.

• Sit correctly at a table, desk, or chair, without hunching over.

• When carrying heavy objects, you need to load your arms evenly. If you carry a backpack or briefcase in one hand, one shoulder will become lower than the other.

• Sleep on a hard bed with a low pillow.

• Sit with your back as straight as possible. It is important to avoid uncomfortable positions. Every 75 minutes of sitting at the table you need to change your position, move your arms and legs, stretch, and every 30 minutes you must stand up, walk around or lie down.

• You should also stand and perform various work with your back as straight as possible. It is important to find sufficient support for the head, torso, arms and legs. After standing for a long time, you must lie down (unload the spine).

• Look at yourself in the mirror every day, which will tell you what your posture is.

VIII. Bottom line.
