Lesson “Girl in a smart dress”: improving drawing skills in the senior group

The process of drawing in preschool age helps to form various skills and develop abilities:

  • Orientation in space;
  • Observation;
  • Aesthetic perception and artistic taste;
  • Sense of color and shape.

It helps train the eyes and hands and develop flexibility in the hand.

The success of the lesson “Let’s decorate a doll’s dress, drawing, middle group” is based on the teacher’s use of the correct techniques and forms.

Exhibition

About the fine arts lesson “Let’s decorate a doll’s dress”, held in the middle group of a preschool educational institution

When carrying out decorative drawing to decorate a doll's dress in the middle group, you must:

  • The presence of a relationship between drawing and games of various types: role-playing, active and didactic.
  • The use of various forms that connect game objects with the process of creating an image.
  • Pay attention to the aesthetic design of teaching materials.
  • Pay attention to all types of mental processes: perception of shapes and sizes of objects and their parts; attention, memory, imagination and thinking; promote their development.
  • Creating children's emotional well-being conducive to effective learning. It consists of the attentive attitude of the teacher, faith in possibilities, respect for the results of visual activity, and the friendly attitude of children towards each other.

Note! The teacher must take into account that the basis for developing the abilities of a kindergarten student is his experience in direct knowledge of the world around him. Therefore, it is important to stimulate children’s activity and independence, to encourage them to remember what they saw, and to teach them to compare objects.

Classification of pedagogical technologies in preschool education

Linking an activity to an event

The art of a teacher lies in the ability to motivate a child to creative activity. The reason for motivation may be the desire of a preschooler to give a gift to a doll in the form of a decorated stencil - a dress for a birthday or for March 8th.

Specifics of drawing a person in the senior group of preschool educational institutions

In each kindergarten group, preschoolers master certain visual and technical skills. The main task of the teacher is to teach children how to draw a person, based on their age capabilities and individual characteristics.

So, in the younger group, children do not yet draw a person as such, the teacher only leads them to this, offering round shapes with anthropomorphic features (sun, bun, tumbler) for depiction.

In the middle level, the process of preparing to create an image of a person continues - the guys draw toys - a doll, a tumbler, a bear. These objects have the same body parts as a person, but the correct transfer of proportions is not so important here. In addition, children draw a matryoshka doll or paint its silhouette - such work exercises them in drawing facial features. The most difficult lesson on this topic in the middle group is the image of the Snow Maiden in a beautiful fur coat.

Pupils in the older group already have sufficient knowledge and good hand control. Now the person is depicted in more detail, the main attention is paid to maintaining the proportions of the body parts.

First, it is advisable to teach children how to draw according to a diagram. So, the head is indicated by a circle, the neck by a short vertical line. To depict the shoulders, draw a horizontal line that should be wider than the head. We denote the torso with a long vertical line, marking the waist line in the middle. At the end we draw the arms and legs.

In addition, people are also drawn with ovals of different sizes and arcs (long and short, with different directions).

Another way is to draw using geometric shapes. The teacher explains to preschoolers that if you add up the quadrilaterals in a certain order, you can get an image of a person.

An easy way to draw a human figure

The teacher lays out the figures on a magnetic board, and the children lay them out on their tables. The finished composition can be traced along the outline with a pencil and colored - the result will be a wonderful drawing.

In the older group, the teacher pays special attention to portraits. Children must understand that a person has eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, nose, lips, ears. In addition, many guys forget in the process of drawing that after the head comes the neck, and only then the shoulders.

When drawing a girl in an elegant dress, the main principle is clarity. First, preschoolers should carefully look at a child or doll in beautiful clothes. The shape of the head, arms, legs, their location and size are specified.

The teacher also pays attention to the proportions of the face: ideally, it should be oval and conditionally divided into three parts: forehead, eyes and nose, lips and chin.

To encourage preschoolers to draw facial features, the teacher resorts to an interesting motivation - he offers to “revive” the girl.

The teacher shows on the board how eyes are drawn and notes that the distance between them should not be too large - equal to the length of one eye. It is emphasized that a person’s nose has the same color as his face, so it can be indicated in the drawing with a short line or only the nostrils can be depicted.

To draw lips correctly, the teacher invites the children to look at each other: the upper lip has two waves, and the lower lip only one.

Drawing ears and hair for preschoolers usually does not cause difficulties.

As for the girl’s dress, it is most convenient and easiest for children to depict it in the form of a cone (by the way, the Snow Maiden’s fur coat is drawn in a similar way). If a child wants to depict sleeves, then the teacher tells him the possible ways: “flashlight”, narrow or wide flared to the bottom.

To make the dress of a painted girl or doll look elegant, the teacher reminds preschoolers of various decoration options. To do this, you can use various Dymkovo toys with their picturesque multi-colored patterns. They are very concise and expressive - easy for children to draw. At the same time, the drawings always turn out different.

In addition, children can paint a girl’s elegant dress with floral or berry motifs or geometric patterns. Everything here depends only on the child’s imagination. Additionally, you can decorate the outfit with ruffles, flounces, and draw a beautiful bow in the hair of the girl or doll herself.

Original drawing

Individual details have been completed. Decorated dress

To make the composition more interesting, you can additionally draw a handbag, and also complement the drawing with details: grass, flowers, the sun.

Materials used and base

In the older group, preschoolers already work with a wider range of materials: gouache and watercolor paints, colored pencils, wax crayons, felt-tip pens, charcoal pencil, sanguine.

Often it is the combination of different materials in one design that adds expressiveness to an image. Since the image of a girl in an elegant dress implies a detailed drawing, after coloring the outline with pencils or paints, you can outline it with a black felt-tip pen or gel pen. These tools can also be used to more accurately draw facial features or small patterns on a dress.

The basis for drawing a girl in an elegant dress is a sheet of paper of the usual size. If you plan to work with paints, then the teacher or the children themselves, under his supervision, pre-tint the base in pastel colors.

You can also use a template to draw on this topic. Such work will not be too easy, since the child will need to independently designate the girl’s face, draw all the features, and also depict the details of the dress and decorate it.

Drawing techniques and techniques that should be used when drawing a girl in an elegant dress in the senior group

Drawing such a complex object as a person, of course, requires a preliminary sketch in pencil. In this case, strong pressure should be avoided so that the finished drawing does not become sloppy.

When coloring a pencil sketch, a student in the senior group practices previously acquired skills. If he works with colored pencils, then the movements should be unidirectional, and unsightly gaps should be avoided. When using paints, large parts are painted over with bristles, and small parts with the tip of a brush. In addition, when drawing wide lines, the brush is drawn at an angle to the paper; when drawing thin lines, it is held almost vertically.

When depicting a person, the ability of preschoolers to mix paints to obtain the desired color is especially important. So, for example, in the watercolor palette there is no ready-made shade to convey the color of a girl’s skin or her blush: to do this, the child must combine white and pink paint in a certain proportion (or white and a little brown to get a dark skin tone).

Additional types of visual activities used, the relevance of an individual approach

The image of a girl in an elegant dress is largely associated with decorative drawing. In this regard, it is appropriate to include additional types of visual activities in such work. So, to decorate a dress, you can use applique and plasticine details (by the way, you can make bead earrings from plasticine for a painted girl), and also use waste material (confetti, cotton wool, foam balls, etc.). To decorate the dress with a beautiful bottom, the teacher can even offer the children a narrow lace braid.

You can use your imagination even more and form the lower part of the dress from real yellow leaves - you will get the so-called “Autumn Girl”.

The girl's skirt is decorated with natural material - autumn leaves

All these interesting methods can be useful for implementing an individual approach to drawing lessons (gifted children will be interested). For weaker students, for whom drawing a person independently is still difficult, you can offer a template of a girl or doll, on which the child will draw a face, design a hairstyle and figure out how to decorate a dress.

Setting tasks

Additional Information. Komarova T.S. in his collection of fine arts classes in preschool educational institutions, he describes the visual activities of children in the middle group.

For preschoolers 4-5 years old:

  • Ideas about surrounding objects become more detailed;
  • There is an expansion of sensorimotor experience, improving graphic and visual skills;
  • There is a need for targeted pedagogical influence, which includes the systematic conduct of classes and the selection of interesting topics available to students.

During the dress decorating class, the following tasks are solved:

Educational:

  • Eesthetic feelings and perception;
  • Imagination and figurative representations through the formation of the ability to examine the environment, through familiarity with art;
  • Ability to highlight means of expression in drawing, including the use of different colors and shades;
  • Ability to use pencil, brush and paint.

Educational:

  • formation of friendly communication with children;
  • desire to do a good deed.

One of the teacher’s tasks is not only to teach neatness, but also to teach children to sit in the correct position while working.

Additional Information. Doronova T.N. in a textbook on teaching drawing to children 2-4 years old talks about the influence of software tasks on the effectiveness of learning. She notes the importance of differentiating educational tasks based on diagnosing the real abilities of students. “Averaging” tasks leads to inhibition of the development of abilities of students with a high level and loss of interest in work and resentment towards the teacher for those with a low level.

Dress for Spring (compendium)

Summary of a non-traditional art lesson in the middle group

"Dress for Spring"

Target:

consolidate and improve the skills of non-traditional drawing techniques using already familiar techniques and techniques (use the skills of working with a stencil, the ability to work with a toothbrush, ear sticks, make an impression, etc.), the ability to depict patterns from memory, complete the necessary details to give them completeness and resemblance to real images. Develop imagination, fantasy, sense of composition and rhythm. Encourage children's creativity and initiative. Cultivate accuracy, perseverance, desire to be useful and needed

Organizing time:

Children play in a group, guests come in...

- Vosp-l:

Guys, guests have come to us... We are putting away the toys... (children are cleaning up)

All assembled: adults and children.

We can start...

But first you need

Say “Hello.” (children and guests say hello)

-Let's all stand in one common circle, hold hands and give each other a good mood. What needs to be done for this? (children's answers) That's right, smile at each other, warm the guests and each other with your smiles.

-And now our children will lead the guests to their seats.. (the children seat the guests and return to the teacher)

There's a knock on the door and they bring a message.

— Vosp-l

: What kind of message is this? Interesting? So, why is it empty? Nothing is written here... What kind of joke is this? Wait, maybe in order to read it, you need to do something? Guys, can you tell me (children's answers)

- encrypted

- blow

- scrape

-look at the light

- say the magic words (crible-crable-boom!)

-We have magic paint that will help shed light on the secret message...

(swipe paint over the sheet and the inscription “THERE WILL BE NO SPRING!” will appear.

- Vosp-l:

There won't be spring? What kind of stupid jokes are these? How can it not? Who dared to threaten us? Guys, who do you think resists the arrival of spring the most? (winter)

So this is a message from the naughty winter, everything is clear...

There is a knock on the door and VESNA enters in a white dress.

- Spring

: Hello guys! You recognized me? (children's answers)

— Vosk-l:

No... Maybe you are the naughty winter who sent us a threat in a message?

- Spring

: You didn't recognize me? It’s all winter, the prankster... it doesn’t want to leave and does all sorts of dirty tricks. Everyone knows that I am a fashionista, I like to change outfits and surprise people. So winter ruined all my dresses! I sprinkled them with snow and they became ugly and pale, now no one will recognize me... Are you, by any chance, wizards? Maybe you can help me?

-Vosp-l

: What are you saying, Spring, how can we compete with winter itself? And we don’t know how to sew yet.

-Spring

: But I don’t need to sew them, I have my own tailors who will sew me whatever I want, but I just need to help me come up with beautiful patterns for the dress. Yes, so that they are truly spring, floral, and bright!

- Vosp-l:

Oh, do you need to come up with patterns for the dress? So this is a completely different matter! Well, guys, let's help spring become redder? (yessss!) It’s spring, so what dresses do you want, what should be there?

- Spring:

The dress must be spring so that I am not confused with another season!

- Vosp-l:

Guys, what can you draw on a dress to make it clear that this is a spring dress? (flowers, grass, sun, insects)

What a great idea you guys have! But you can still draw black clouds with rain, right? (no, because there are clouds in the fall)

- what if you draw beautiful roses? (they happen in summer) and chrysanthemums? (autumn)

— will snowflakes look good on a dress?

- Spring:

We understood the task, well done! Then work, but I have to go, I have one more thing to do. I'll come by later and pick up the work, okay? (leaves)

- Vosp-l:

Guys, let's think about where and how we can place patterns on the dress? We need to look around to see if there is anything we can draw on? (looks around and finds whatman paper. He unfolds it and invites the children to come closer)

— Vosk-l:

Where can you place your weed? And the sun? And the flowers? What will happen at the top? (flower beads) And in the middle? Or you can make the pattern on only one side of the dress.. (discussed)

— Vosk-l:

- Okay, let's go to our work places... Take your brushes and get to work! (children say there are no tassels) Why are there no tassels? Winter is a prankster and has already been here, it messes everything up... Then take pencils or markers. And they are not there? Then what can you draw with? (children's answers: sponges, toothbrushes, ear sticks, stencils, fingers, etc.)

- Vosp-l:

Everything is ready Let's imagine what kind of dress you will draw... To do this, close your eyes and, like real artists, think through your work, what we will draw and how.. I will imagine with you, because... I also want to please Red Spring... (music plays, children close their eyes and imagine dresses)

- Vosp-l:

Before we get to work, we need to prepare our fingers. Let's do an exercise:

Our delicate flowers (fingers tightly clenched)

The petals are blooming...(fingers quietly open)

The breeze breathes slightly (they wave their hands in front of them)

The petals sway (lightly wave)

Our delicate flowers

Close the petals (fingers close)

They shake their heads and quietly fall asleep (they smoothly lower their hands onto the table).

- Vosp-l:

Our fingers are ready to work, the materials are waiting for us, and Spring has been waiting for us (children’s work)

Inflammation:

We finish the work, bring it to the table. Somewhere Spring was delayed, but she promised to pick up the order. (looks out the window) Nope, it’s not coming... What should I do? Maybe I should call her somehow, shout? Let's remember how in the old days spring was called by nicknames?

-Children:

Oh, my spring, you little freckle!

Because of the dark forests,

Come from beyond the blue seas!

The sun, illuminate it with light! (Spring is coming)

- Spring:

Let's see who got what done here, did everyone do what I asked? Masha, what did you come up with for Spring? Whose beautiful work is this? (evaluation of 2 good works. What is this here, whose work is this? (evaluate 1 unsuccessful work) Did you manage to do everything? What do you think prevented you from fulfilling all my wishes? Maybe there was not enough time? (fantasies, didn’t understand the task, didn’t try? (And now you understand everything? Can you correct the work, taking into account your mistakes?

-Spring:

Oh guys, well done! I was so pleased that I even wanted to sing and dance! Is there a special place for this in kindergarten? (music hall) Let's go there now and dance?

- Vosp-l:

Spring, our guys will take you there now, but first they will say goodbye to the guests (Spring and the children say goodbye and leave)

Methods of gender education for preschool children

Notes for a lesson on drawing a girl in an elegant dress for the senior group

Author's full nameTitle of the abstract
Fetisova L.A.“Girl in an elegant dress”
Educational tasks : learn to draw a girl’s figure, convey the shape of the dress, its parts, correlate them by size, arrange the image large, on the entire sheet, practice painting techniques. Developmental tasks : consolidate knowledge of items of clothing, parts of the human body bodies, develop the ability to compare your drawing with the depicted object. Educational objectives : to cultivate attentiveness and perseverance. Integration of educational areas : “Artistic creativity”, “Cognition”, “Communication”, “Socialization”, “Health”. Handouts: sheets of paper according to the number of children, watercolor paints, sippy jars, brushes, brush holders, napkins, pencils. Progress of the lesson: At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher asks which of the girls came in a dress today. One of the girls (Masha) is invited. The teacher draws attention to how beautiful she and her dress are. The shape, length and color of the dress are discussed, as well as the position of the child's head, arms and legs. Attention is also paid to the girl’s hairstyle. The teacher tells the children that today they will draw Masha or some other girl - their friend. She must be in a smart dress. They discuss what pattern can be used to decorate the dress (polka dots, flowers, or just a bright, beautiful color). On the board, the teacher schematically shows the sequence of the image: first, the girl’s height is outlined, then an oval is drawn - the head, two triangles - the torso and the skirt. The arms and legs are represented by sausages of different sizes, and the feet are represented by triangles. The teacher reminds the children that there is a neck between the head and torso. The next step is to round off all sharp corners. Then the girl’s facial features are drawn. After that, you need to come up with a hairstyle for her. Independent activity of preschoolers. Analysis of children's works. The guys tell what kind of girl they portrayed, who they relate to her.
Ryzhova E.."My favorite doll" The teacher gathers the children on the carpet and recites a poem about parts of the human body, while the children show them on themselves:
  • There are nails on our fingers, On our hands there are wrists and elbows. Crown, neck, shoulders, chest And don’t forget the tummy. Hips, heels, two feet, lower leg and ankle. There are knees and a back, but there is only one. We have on our heads two ears and two lobes, eyebrows, cheekbones, and temples, and eyes that are so close. Cheeks, nose and two nostrils, Lips, teeth - look! Chin under lip. That's what you and I know! To find out what they will draw today, preschoolers must guess the riddle: She looks like an actress In a beautiful silver dress, I’ll tell her a story - She’ll close her eyes, Let’s play - we’ll sleep, I’ll put her to bed. What a cute toy: Daughter in the morning, girlfriend in the afternoon?

A surprise moment - the Tanya doll appears. The guys examine her carefully, pointing out body parts. The teacher dresses Tanya in a beautiful dress and at the same time notices that she is sad: the doll is bored alone, she really wants to have girlfriends in the same beautiful dresses. Of course, the guys agree to help her with this. The teacher invites preschoolers to draw a doll using geometric shapes. Physical education is carried out:

  • We were tired, we stayed too long, we wanted to stretch our legs. Then they looked at the wall, then they looked out the window. Turn right, turn left, and then vice versa. We start squats, bend our legs completely. Up and down, up and down, Don't rush to squat! And they sat down for the last time, And now they sat down.

Independent work of children. Analysis of works. The children, if desired, talk about their dolls and come up with names for them.

Website "Educational Materials"“Your favorite doll in kindergarten” The teacher informs the children that they have a new toy in their group. And to find out what it is, you need to solve the riddle:
  • What does all of this mean? Daughter, but not crying; If you put him to bed, he will sleep for a day, or two, or even five. (Doll)

A new doll is on display. The children come up with a name for her and call her affectionately. The teacher draws attention to the fact that the doll is smartly dressed - in a fluffy pink dress. She is wearing beautiful shoes and her hair is neatly pulled back into ponytails. They discuss what you can do with a new toy: play with it, draw it, sculpt it from plasticine. The teacher tells the children that one composer - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - composed music about a doll. Children listen to the play “New Doll” from the composer’s children’s album. Then the teacher asks what the preschoolers imagined while listening. The teacher invites the children to draw their favorite doll using pencils and markers. Physical education “Curious Varvara” is being held. Independent productive activity. At the end of the lesson, the guys talk about their dolls.

Preliminary work with children, discussion of the topic

To color, children need to master form-building movements that differ in nature, pressure, scope and duration. An example of an exercise to develop the ability to draw a dotted line is “Draw rain”, drawing with movements in the air.

Discussing the topic of the lesson, the outfits of the matryoshka doll and the Dymkovo toy are considered, and they are compared with the silhouettes of a doll dress for drawing in kindergarten.

Important. When looking at samples, the teacher demonstrates the ability to perceive what he sees with surprise, excitement and joy. As a result, children will respond to the expressiveness of the image, and they will be motivated to create.

Didactic manual

Progress of GCD, techniques for applying images

Children should not sit at tables before work. It is better to conduct the conversation by seating the students on the carpet or placing them around the teacher’s table.

Important. Visual material, supported by the emotional words of the teacher, will help children better master the task.

Drawing is a traditional art technique. In this lesson, it is possible to use non-traditional techniques recommended in the middle group for decorating a dress. A dress template for drawing in kindergarten can be decorated using:

  • Imprint of foam rubber or cork;
  • Combined drawing with wax crayons and watercolors;
  • Drawing with cotton swabs.

Attention . The teacher helps children in arranging elements on the template using contours and pays attention to the ratio of the sizes of the parts of the pattern.

The decorating process begins with the development of the compositional ability to rhythmically arrange shapes, a sense of color, with the ability to draw large and small shapes, and with the formation of technical drawing skills. The first task is to draw straight lines, between which strokes are applied, arranged rhythmically.

Finished work

Important. In the middle group, alternation of no more than two elements is used.

Step-by-step outline of lesson notes

At the beginning of the article, we mentioned that one of the most important points in preparing a lesson in kindergarten is the formulation of goals and objectives. For a lesson plan on the topic “Girl in a smart dress,” the goals can be outlined as follows:

  • learn to draw a human figure on paper;
  • show the importance of maintaining proportions when depicting a person;
  • continue to develop the skill of depicting a figure large;
  • practice the skill of creating a drawing with pencils and paints;
  • develop concrete-imaginative thinking;
  • develop speech;
  • cultivate aesthetic taste.

The following can be proposed as task formulations:

  • learn to determine the purpose of clothing items by appearance;
  • teach to identify the components of an image;
  • develop visual perception in the process of analyzing a sample;
  • fix the spatial orientation of the object on the sheet;
  • work on developing the ability to place an object in the center of the sheet;
  • develop the ability to compare your own product of creative activity with others;
  • cultivate accuracy in work.

The next stage of working on the outline is calculating the time for each stage of work.

Physical education and finger exercises are mandatory elements of the main stage of the lesson.

This is interesting. A lesson in kindergarten lasts 30 minutes, of which about 5 are spent on the required stages: finger gymnastics and physical education (usually in the main part of the lesson).

The lesson consists of 3 stages:

  • introductory part - 5-7 minutes (motivating guys to work);
  • main part - 18–20 minutes (work on the drawing);
  • final stage - 3-5 minutes (drawing up an exhibition of works, evaluating the drawings by the teacher, reflection - “Did you like the task? How do you evaluate your drawing? Whose drawing, in your opinion, is the most successful? Why?”)

Drawings by students with comments on the completion of the work

The drawing “Girl in a Princess Dress” looks bright and catchy. Probably, any girl would like to come to a matinee in kindergarten in such a dress. The outfit is made attractive by the combination of geometric and abstract patterns; the top part of the outfit is drawn with felt-tip pens, and the rest is drawn with colored pencils. The waist is highlighted with a massive blue bow. The young artist did not forget about the details: he depicted a miniature crown on the girl’s blond hair, earrings, a necklace and rings. It is clear that the author of the drawing is a girl.

Another wonderful work is “Girl in an elegant dress.” The tones here are softer and more restrained. Let's note the girl's beautiful hairstyle, the handbag in her hands and the flounces at the bottom of the dress.

A smart dress doesn't necessarily mean intricate patterns. It simply can have a bright and unusual color, which is what we see in the composition “Girl in a Lilac Dress.”

A very interesting fantasy work is “Angel Girl”: the girl in the picture, dressed in modern clothes (short skirt and top), has wings behind her back and a halo above her head.

Compositions on the theme of dolls deserve attention. At the photo exhibition “My Favorite Doll,” children drew pictures of their favorite toys. All dolls are dressed in elegant dresses decorated with various patterns. Let's also note the different hairstyles. At the photo exhibition “Chuvash Doll,” the dolls’ dresses are decorated with ethnic patterns, and there are also national Chuvash shoes and headdresses. All dolls have a long braid and a smile adorns their faces.
