Game program for Cosmonautics Day “Jolly Cosmodrome”
Game program for Cosmonautics Day
Goals:
increase interest in Russian cosmonautics, encourage students to broaden their horizons, develop intellectual and physical abilities; Foster a spirit of healthy competition and friendly competition.
Progress of the game program
Hello, dear guys! I am glad to welcome you to our game program “Fun Cosmodrome” dedicated to Cosmonautics Day!
Several decades ago, almost all boys and girls in our country, when asked what they wanted to become when they grew up, answered the same way: “An astronaut!” Probably, even now there are guys among you who dream of space.
Since ancient times, people have looked at the sky and stars, wondering what they are and where they are.
People's first ideas about earth and space were very primitive. For example, people believed that the Earth was flat and rested on three giant elephants, standing importantly on the shell of a huge turtle. This miracle turtle swims in the sea-ocean, and the whole world is covered with a crystal dome with many sparkling stars.
Many years have passed since then, and even preschoolers now know that the earth is round and that it revolves around a star called the Sun. And that there are countless such stars in the galaxy, and the galaxies themselves too.
People always dream of flying to the stars, but this became possible only recently - in the 20th century. The founders of astronautics are Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky and Sergei Pavlovich Korolev.
On April 12, our country celebrates Cosmonautics Day. This is a national holiday.
On April 12, 1961, for the first time in the world, the first cosmonaut on the planet flew on the Vostok spacecraft. He was our citizen Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin. The inhabitants of the Earth will always remember with gratitude the names of people who discovered a new sphere of human activity.
Now you will witness the space travel of two crews. And even if this is not a real space flight, perhaps our today’s “cosmonauts” in 10-15 years will lead ships to other planets or will create these ships.
Throughout the flight, their work will be monitored by the Flight Control Center (jury) and will assess the readiness of the crews to perform various tasks. Ready?
Dear crew members, now we are going on an exciting journey. During the game we will find out whose team knows the history of space exploration better. A lot will depend on your organization, attention, and speed of response to commands.
Just like real astronauts, surprises await you. Be prepared for them. We have 2 teams. (grade 3,4)
But still, the crews must undergo a final test on Earth.

Leading:
While we were checking the readiness, they brought us a telegram from real astronauts. But it turned out that for some reason some words were missing in the text.
Exercise 1:
restore the text of the telegram and fill in the missing words.
Text of the telegram:
You, baby, don’t forget: you are on your way to becoming an astronaut. Our main rule is to carry out any (order)! If you want to become an astronaut, you must know a lot, a lot! Any space route is open to those who love (work). Only friendly starships can take with them (on the flight). We will not take the boring, gloomy and angry into (orbit)!
(Holding the competition, summing up the results)
Leading:
Now that you have read the order of the astronauts, you need to prepare your spacecraft for travel to unknown planets.
Task 2:
put together the silhouette of a rocket from disparate parts and come up with a name for it related to the space theme.
(Holding the competition, summing up the results)
Leading:
So, the crews have been formed, the rockets have their names, and now it’s time to find out what we will take on board our spaceships?
Game “What should we take with us on a flight?”
What should we take with us on the flight? Interplanetary spaceship? Airplane or rocket? Maybe a floppy disk with games? Maybe we should get some “Moment” glue to glue everything together in a moment? Compass, various instruments? Lego several sets? Cup, spoon and plate? A basin and a large heating pad? It’s not easy, I’ll tell you, brothers, It was getting ready for space!
Task 3:
Space crossword puzzle.
Leading:
Well done! The rockets are ready to fly! Do you know what clothes astronauts wear?
Task 4:
“Dress the astronaut”
Each team is given a drawing of a boy. Task: complete the drawing of the spacesuit: (Suit, helmet, gloves, boots, antennas on the helmet.)
Task 5:
“Open Space”
2 crew members stand on one chair. One holds a skein of thread (rope), the second must, holding the other end of the “halyard” rope, descend from the chair “go into outer space”, collect upside down cards with letters from the floor, and return to the “ship”. Together they make a word.
Our cosmonauts completed the flight program in full.
Have a safe return!
Planet “tell me” (
Game “Say a Word”)
Task 6: “Space Dictionary”
The guys take turns naming words related to the theme of space. The team that named the most words wins (satellite, rocket, spacesuit, galaxy, star, moon, constellation, etc.)
Task 7:
“Aliens”
The teams line up in two lines. The first players are given a plastic plate. Task: run to a chair with a plate on your head without dropping it on the floor.
Task 8:
“Flying Saucer”
The teams are given a saucer. The team whose plate flies the farthest wins.
Task 9:
In any situation, the navigator must remain calm and not lose orientation in space. (Two chairs are placed with their backs facing each other at some distance and a rope is laid under them so that its ends peek out from under the chairs. The players are placed in front of the chairs and turned around several times. Then the player quickly sits down on the chair and grabs the rope. He loses who did not have time to grab the end of the rope)
Task 10:
“Portrait of an Alien”
One large sheet of paper is hung on the wall for each team. We need to make a collective portrait of an alien. Team members agree among themselves who will paint which part of the portrait. On the command “March!” participants take turns running up to the sheet, drawing one of the body parts with felt-tip pens and returning back.

Goal: expanding children's knowledge about space, space flights, cosmonauts, and space exploration. Objectives: - instilling a sense of pride in the greatest achievements of the Russian people in the field of space, - nurturing mutual assistance, friendly relations, the ability to work in a team, coordinating their actions with the actions peers, - creating a festive, positive mood. Purpose of the material: the script is intended for students in grades 1-4, it will be useful for teachers, class teachers, head teachers for extracurricular activities when preparing thematic events and class hours for Cosmonautics Day. Characters: Cosmodrome instructor, Baba Yaga,
Cosmonaut, Old Man Hottabych,
Pirate, Pinocchio, Alien. Props: stand, posters, audio equipment, fake large control panel. Before the event starts, songs about space are played.
Progress of the celebration: (two presenters come out - Flight Instructor and Cosmonaut)
Cosmonaut: Hello, guys! Instructor: Good afternoon! Let me introduce myself. I'm a flight instructor, and this is our chief cosmonaut. The employees of our center are engaged in children's space excursions. Cosmonaut: Yes, yes, you heard right. We really are sending children on flight, because you are the one who can find the lost message from the world's first astronaut. Well, guys, do you have a desire to go into space? Instructor: But space flight is not an easy task. During our journey, we will need a cheerful mood, ingenuity and the ability to work together in a team. But before we set off, let's remember the history of space exploration.
Cosmonaut: Real space exploration began only in the last century. People managed to launch a projectile from the ground that overcame gravity. Voice of the Big Invisible Man
“This projectile became known as a satellite. Our country was the first in the world to put a space satellite into orbit in 1957. And the first four-legged passengers to successfully fly in orbit and return to Earth were Belka and Strelka.” Instructor: Guys, the most important designer of our cosmodrome just talked to you. His name is Big Invisible Man.
Cosmonaut: Guys, who knows who was the first person to fly into space?
Children: …???…
Cosmonaut: (Yes, indeed,) On April 12, 1961, humanity first saw its native planet from space through the eyes of the world's first cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.
Instructor: And now we need to appoint a chief flight attendant who will be responsible for the flight of the ship. Cosmonaut: “Don’t forget that childhood is the time when you want to believe in a fairy tale. Therefore, you cannot do the flight without the fabulous staff of our cosmodrome.” Instructor: Let’s see who is free at the moment.
The instructors approach the flight control panel, press the keys, and at the same time the “sound of buttons” is heard in the recording.
Cosmonaut: Old man Hottabych gives a tour on a carpet airplane. Instructor: The flying dragons went to visit the Martians. Cosmonaut: Puss in Boots left in boots, they haven’t been found for a week.
(Baba Yaga exits the hall)
Baba Yaga: Oh, where did mine go? It turns out that I am the only one, a pensioner and a free extreme athlete. Oh, goodbye my miserable stupa, goodbye forest falcons. So be it, I agree. I will be your senior flight attendant. Instructor: Tell me, do you have any special training? Baba Yaga: What about! The preparation is very special, centuries-old. I'm on a broom, I've been flying for 300 years. You could say I am the first female astronaut. VOICE of the Great Invisible Man “Wrong information. The first woman cosmonaut was Valentina Tereshkova in 1963.”Baba Yaga: Oh, fathers, what was that? Cosmonaut: The main brain of our cosmodrome, the Big Invisible Man himself, was talking to you. Baba Yaga: Well, I’ll tell you what. I've always been interested in the Moon. I either make a love potion during the full moon or collect night flowers during the moon. And I would like to fly to this very Moon! Will you fly with me, my bright falcons? Only, now I see, there are a lot of you guys gathered. (scratches the back of his head thoughtfully) Guess I can’t handle it alone?
Old Man Hottabych Appears
Old Man Hottabych: (tears out a hair from his beard) Fuck-tibidoh-tibidoh! I heard, dear one, that you and the guys were planning to go into space, but you couldn’t cope. Well, so be it, retired extreme sportswoman, I’ll help you. I have an old friend, an overseas pirate. I'll call him now. Fuck-tibidoh-tibidoh! (casts a spell, shaking the carpet)
Buratino suddenly appears
Pinocchio: (imitates) Oh, where did I end up. I was on my way to the Land of Fools.
Baba Yaga: (examines Pinocchio) What kind of log is this with legs? Where is your promised pirate?
Pinocchio: Please, citizen, no insults. By the way, I am made of logs, to the delight of the kids, my precious key will open the doors to you.
Old man Hottabych: Ugh, he’s become quite old, he mixed up the words in the spell.
Baba Yaga: And what are we going to do with him? He got it wrong. Hey, astronaut, take care of the client and let him prepare for the flight.
Old man Hottabych: Yagulichka, don’t be nervous, now we’ll do take two. (he casts a spell again)
A dancing alien appears
Baba Yaga: (examines the alien) Hottabych, you old scoundrel! What kind of miracle has this been drawn? (SH threatens, and he pretends “Like I’m not within limits”)
BN: Tuning into the language of earthlings is complete.
Alien: Let me introduce myself, I am an alien from the planet Tantsirion. My name is …. This is some kind of misunderstanding. How did I end up here? Bring me back immediately.
Baba Yaga: Now you’ll fly. The astronaut take this one for pre-flight preparation. And now you, old scoundrel, will we wait for your overseas pirate? A?
Old Man Hottabych: I trained this spell, everything will happen now! (he casts a spell again)
Pirate: Board! (looks around) Three thousand devils on the rumba strike me like thunder, what kind of circus is this? Hottabych, these are your tricks again. My battle is in full swing, the gold will be taken away without me.
Baba Yaga: Well, finally. We've been waiting for you and the guys, my assistant. It's time to fly into space.
Pirate: (surprisingly) Oh! into space, I have never been there before.
Baba Yaga: So, Cosmonaut, where are our assistants? Is everyone here?
Heroes line up
Baba Yaga: Are you guys ready? Is the team ready to fly? Assistants, take your places on the ships. (disperse to classes) So, let's go!
After passing all the stations, the heroes, together with their last class, return to the main entrance.
Return words for all heroes: Guys, you did a great job. Now our path lies back to planet Earth to restore the lost message of Yuri Gagarin.
Classes take their places
Old Man Hottabych says that each class, in turn, should bring their collected part of the message and put it together into one whole. (!!!Hottabych calls the class himself!!!)
"…My dear friend! Congratulations! So you have become quite big. The task before you is important and difficult: to learn to write, read and count. All people on Earth - pilots and agronomists, workers and sailors, doctors and artists - began to learn from the first letter on the board, from the first word in the primer. But at school you will become not only a literate person - you will learn to make friends. Then the class will not just be a class, but a collective. And the team can do a lot. For example, space flight. Could one person have prepared it? Of course not. A friendly team of designers, workers, and biologists worked hard before the spacecraft was ready for flight. The designers calculated the ship, the workers built it, and biologists figured out how to protect the pilot from harmful cosmic rays. In the team, everyone supports the common cause and cares about each other. “One for all, all for one” - the Russian people have such a good rule. On April 12, I was alone in the cabin of the Vostok ship. But I was for everyone...
