"Good afternoon dear friends! I am glad to welcome you. We are accustomed to studying geography using strict school textbooks, atlases, and encyclopedic publications. Is it always possible to talk about geography only in geography lessons? No. This will be my goal today - to prove to you that geography is an all-pervasive science, and of course we will check how extensive your knowledge of geography is.

2. Presentation of commands.

2 teams compete in the game. They are formed in advance. Players come up with a motto and names for their teams, and choose captains.

3. Statement of the rules of the game:

The quiz was created based on the television game “Own Game” and is accompanied by a presentation. There are five categories on the screen in front of you (slide number 3):

5. Geographical records.

Two teams of arbitrary size take part in the game. Their main goal is to answer questions and earn as many points as possible. The team receiving first choice of question category is determined by drawing lots. If the answer is correct, the team's account receives a number of points corresponding to the value of the question, and the team gets the right to choose the next question. If an incorrect answer is given, the right to answer this question passes to the other team. The winner of the game is the one who scores the most points.
