The “Sports Hour” program for students in grades 1-4.

This program is based on the theory of L.S. Vygotsky about the general laws of development of an anomalous child; about the structure of the defect and the possibilities of its compensation; about an individual and differentiated approach to children, taking into account the zones of their current and immediate development.

The program is focused on the implementation of sports and health activities, educational and preventive work with students, aimed at developing their habits, and then the needs for a healthy lifestyle, and developing students’ interest in the issues of preserving and promoting health.

The purpose of this program is the corrective - compensatory and therapeutic - health-improving development of primary school students.

To achieve the goal, the following tasks

:

formation of basic knowledge about personal hygiene, daily routine, the effect of physical exercise on health, performance and the development of motor abilities;

improving vital skills and abilities through teaching outdoor games and physical exercises;

promoting the development of mental processes (attention, memory, thinking, etc.) during motor activity;

nurturing discipline, a friendly attitude towards comrades, honesty, responsiveness, and courage during physical exercises, which will contribute to the success of their adaptation in society.
