Summer is a great time to instill a love of reading in your child.

This list of literature is recommended for summer reading for students who have completed 1st grade. It may be slightly different from what the teacher gives to students at the end of the year. The list is long and it will be difficult for a seven-year-old child to complete it even during three months of vacation. So start reading right now. Yes, yes, let's start together. The chapter is read by mom, dad or older brother and sister, and the chapter is read by the first grader himself.

By the way, you can find many of the recommended works on this site.

Keeping a reading diary in the summer

To better assimilate and consolidate the material read, it is recommended to keep a summer reading diary. To do this, in a regular notebook in a square, you should draw a table with the following columns:

Author and title of the workMain charactersBrief storyQuotes (important, liked)

Thus, after reading the book, you should enter basic information into the table in order to organize the information received.
Then, by the beginning of the school year, the books will not be “mixed” in the head, and the characters and important events of each individual work will be recorded by the student independently. #ADVERTISING_INSERT#
