Stages of preparing the dramatization of a fairy tale in the senior group

The dramatization of fairy tales in the older group can be carried out in the following forms:

  • staging speech inserts, dialogues, replicas;
  • imitation of gaming activities;
  • participation in tabletop theater;
  • puppet theater show;
  • dramatization of Russian fairy tales on stage.

Card file of conversations in the middle group with goals

Regardless of which presentation method is chosen, the teacher and children undergo preliminary preparation and rehearsals. Main stages of preparation:

  1. Children visit the theater corner in the garden and get to know all the participants. A game of “pass the ball and say a name” is played, involving people in the creative process.
  2. Trying on costumes that are available in the kindergarten workshop. The game “change your voice” or “impersonate another person.” A theatrical performance in kindergarten does not imply a grandiose transformation, but children learn to understand their character and try on the role along with the costume.
  3. Finger gymnastics is carried out, possibly using small soft dolls. Children participate in a shadow theater show, portray characters from the fairy tale “Turnip” and “pull turnips” or show figures such as a swan, a wolf, a bird. During the teaching hour, children solve riddles and remember the riddles that they themselves know.
  4. Practicing facial expressions and gestures. The easiest way is to play the “pretend what you did this weekend” game. The child uses gestures to show how he read a book or drew, or watched cartoons on TV.

In the older group, you can complicate the task, for example, prepare a scenario in a new way based on the fairy tale “The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats”, or “The Clapping Fly”, “Kolobok”.

Theater club at preschool educational institution

Before going on stage, the teacher and the group conduct 3-5 rehearsals and see how quickly the participants remember their words and actions. The average number of players is 12, all the rest participate in the role of “spectator” and actively clap, sing along and empathize with the heroes of the fairy tale. If you need to increase the number of participants, then you can put several granddaughters in the fairy tale “Turnip”; three or four girls will pull the turnip.

Card index of dramatization games with goals

To simplify preparation for the holiday, the teacher creates a card index of fairy tales in advance, and on each card indicates a goal, for example, “developing the desire for mutual assistance” and the name of the fairy tale: “Turnip.”

There are several drama games that can be played at any time to entertain children and develop one or another skill:

  • Pinocchio and Pierrot. The purpose of the game is to show children how to properly relax and tense their body muscles. Children move slowly around the hall, but on command from Pinocchio they must stand in a pose: feet shoulder-width apart, muscles tense, arms bent at the elbows and raised above the head. If Pierrot gives the command, then the child takes on a sad look, his neck is relaxed and hanging, his eyes are downcast;
  • Hypnotist. The purpose of this performance is to teach the child to relax the whole body and rest. The teacher becomes a hypnotist, and imitating a hypnosis session, moves his hands in front of the children’s faces, saying “Sleep, sleep.” Children first lower their head and neck, and slowly lie down on the floor and “fall asleep”;
  • Goose. Children imitate the gait of a goose and walk with their necks craned and their hands folded behind their backs. You can also invite them to portray other animals and birds.
  • Pantomime. Children really like the theatrical version of the game, they become actors and get into character, depicting different actions: getting dressed for going outside and undressing, washing and drying the dishes, sweeping the floor in the kindergarten, watching the falling snow, playing with the cat.

Additional Information! In order to choose an interesting game at any time, the kindergarten must have a card index. During the teaching hour, the teacher takes out a card and, depending on what is written on it: “Little Red Riding Hood” or “Swan Princess,” plays the game. This is an unusual and interesting way to raise children, develop attention, fine motor skills, and acting abilities.

To involve children, you can hold various competitions, for example, for the most unusual costume, or the best Russian folk souvenir, made with your own hands.

(09/03/2015 12:18) It is very difficult to find a script on which to stage a modern play. I liked your script because, thanks to modern musical compositions, it becomes spectacular and interesting for children. Thanks for your material!

(09/01/2015 19:35) Very interesting material, I will definitely use it and tell my colleagues. Thank you

(08/27/2015 22:21) The event created all the conditions for the development of artistic, creative, and musical abilities of children. It turned out to be a children's musical, but the elements of choreography were not used; surely the actors could not only sing, but also dance something. But in general it’s interesting.

(08/14/2015 01:07 pm) The script is very interestingly presented... I also really like to stage musical fairy tales and performances with children. Modern children, indeed, choose from musical material what is closest to them... and more often All these are not children's songs. Therefore, the teachers of the music school selected such material and it seems to me very appropriate to create such a production in parallel with the passage of this fable in literary reading lessons..
Spam 10 Yakupova Rita Rasikhovna (black night)
(11.08.2015 20:59) Scenario of the 21st century. Unusual, but interesting. I completely agree with A. Metlitskaya! We must learn to combine the classics with modernity! Try it and don’t be afraid to do it! Thanks to the authors.
Spam 8 Antonina Metlitskaya (AntoninaM18)
(08/06/2015 01:11) The authors of the musical dramatization showed a non-standard approach to staging such a familiar fable. The idea is good. As for the musical selections, here you can use your creativity and taste, and select those “backing tracks” that suit you best (this is in reference to S.V. Saraeva’s comment). But it’s not possible to take only children’s songs from the 80s now. Our children are no longer the same! One of the stated goals: “to show the importance of acquiring school knowledge” is not appropriate here (again, my opinion!). Here one goal is correct (or sufficient): “creating conditions for the development of artistic, creative, musical abilities of children.” And for some reason there is no download button
